Can you believe it’s the last Friday in June?

What in the world?

Before you know it, I’ll have my pumpkins out.

Kidding, kidding, kidding.  I promise not to put them out until at least mid-August. 😉

It’s been a FULL few days, but goodness, it’s been sweet.

Over the last five days, I’ve been to the airports in: Nantucket, Washington DC, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Jose, San Fransisco, Newark, and back to Nantucket.

Spoiler alert: I read THREE WHOLE BOOKS.  Ha!

Needless to say, June’s upcoming Book Review will be extra big 😉 .

Kensington and I flew into San Jose and enjoyed 24 hours in…

…super cute Palo Alto.  It was adorable!

We walked and walked (gorgeous weather!), shopped a little, had a yummy dinner, spent time by the hotel pool, and before we knew it, it was time to drop her off for her leadership program…

…at beautiful Stanford.  It was my first time to visit and whoa, it is GORGEOUS!

She was so excited to be there which made it easier for this mama’s heart to leave her.  She will be there about a week-ish and then be joining us on Nantucket the rest of her summer break.  It’s always a good feeling when your kiddos are happy to be where they’re planted.

I took the red eye from San Fransisco and found myself…

…in Newark, New Jersey at 5:00 AM.

Before I knew it, I was on one last flight from Newark to Nantucket.  The pilot took us on a route that gave us a great view of…

…Martha’s Vineyard before touching down…

…on Nantucket.

We officially, officially feel like we’re planted now for the remainder of our summer break.

The best best part of the morning though?

Walking around and looking at the boats and talking about anything and everything for the 30 minutes after we ate.  Goodness, I love spending time with my boy.

We bought THIS CROQUET SET in the spring, and it has been a BIG hit with the neighborhood kiddos. I knew I would be traveling quite a bit this week, so I asked Andrew to give me a show to watch.  His suggestion was…

…The Agency on Prime.  You guys, I really, really like it!  I already finished Season 1!  It’s gritty and a little dark, but it’s suspenseful and moves quickly.  It reminds me a little of Homeland (which I loved…but this moves much faster!).

If you need a new show, I highly recommend.
