Happy Friday, friends!
Thank you so so much for being here with me today! I just love spending my Fridays with YOU 🙂 .
This week at the Shull’s house, we had our first full week of school: cross country began, Wednesday night church started back up, we had an athletic parent meeting at the middle school, we navigated a new carpool/after school routine, and we complained about the heat. As much as I love, love my summers, I really love our school routine too…especially this time of year.
Per usual, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika and wishing you the best start to your weekend.
It’s FRI-DAY, y’all!

Last night, both of our high schools had their last scrimmages before the season officially kicks off next week.
Andrew and I cannot wait to watch…

…our favorite McKinney Boyd varsity cheerleader and…

…our favorite Lovejoy varsity defensive lineman 🙂 .

We have checked off scrimmages and “decals with dads”, and now, we’re ready for GAME DAY!
Side note, if you haven’t binged the TV show Friday Night Lights yet, you should. It’s a really fun one to watch this time of year!

Oh yay, yay, yay…

…it’s 25% OFF THE BEST SELLERS with COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD right now!
Don’t go into fall and winter without trying…

…this combination! Every single day, I use my DAILY MOISTURIZER with a drop of ETHEREAL GLOW SERUM (in bronze). Just a little bit of the bronzer warms up my complexion. I started doing this in February and haven’t looked back. My skin (and therefore my makeup!) look so much better on top. Both are 25% off right now!
I don’t know why it took me so long, but last month, I finally bought…

…the INTENSE HYDRATING MASK for the first time and have loved it! I have been using it about twice a week instead of my nighttime moisturizer for extra hydration.
And now is the time for you to either try or stock up on…

…the RADIANT CLEANSING BALM! This is the GOAT of all my skincare products. This cleanses my skin, removes all of my makeup (even stubborn eye makeup) while keeping it hydrated and not ever making my face feel tight or stripped. The girls and I use this every single day as well as my mom. The best!
I always love collaborating with you, Colleen Rothschild!

Should you not live on the surface of the sun and/or be getting ready in your heart (and closet!) for fall like me, I have a few finds for our Friday…

I wore this SWEATSHIRT on Wednesday. It comes in other colors, but this one said “hello, September!” to me…plus, you know I love my TENNIS SKIRTS 🙂 .
I did not wear this, but I tried it on for you because it was soft, comfy, and cute…

THIS CARDIGAN (comes in other colors!) with MY JEANS and MY FLATS
And one more…

…soft little CARDIGAN to transition us into fall. It also comes in several other colors and patterns.
On this week’s TRAVEL TUESDAY post, I shared my best tips for handling airports with ease as well as…

…a few collages of what I like to wear on flights. I thought I’d show you…

…one of the outfits in real life. THIS TOP + JEANS + FLATS would make a really easy and comfy airplane outfit!

You guys, for several years now, I have shared my love for…

…the TV series Ted Lasso. Andrew and I love it so much that…

…you can imagine how much we fan girl-ed when we met one of the stars in London after Tab officiated an NFL game and…

…one year, Andrew and I even went as the characters Roy and Keely from the show.
Disclaimer, the language in the show is really funny but very “mature”, but the show itself is sweet and charming and uplifting and original and goodness, it’s just really GOOD TV.
Needless to say…

…we are SO SO SO SO HAPPY THEY BROUGHT IT BACK FOR SEASON FOUR!!
If you are looking for quality TV, I can’t recommend this series enough. I was absolutely giddy when I sat down to start this new season.

Last week, I went to Hobby Lobby to take in all the fall.
Should you be heading there any time soon, here’s what came home with me…

…some fall and two bonus Christmas trees 😉 .
Where does one put a Bluey outdoor fall doormat in August?

Mades immediately put it in her bathroom. Bahahaha! The rest of the pumpkin stuff will stay put away until September, but the outdoor mat has found a home in her bathroom 🙂 .

How cute are those disposable coffee cups? My girls like to take tea and coffee in the mornings, so I thought these were extra adorable. I always stock up on fall baking items from Hobby Lobby as well as…

…that cute cute cup for water, a doormat for my exterior office door, two more of the light up pumpkins (I buy them every year), and Christmas trees.

And finally, it’s a BIG day because…

…today is my annual BACK TO SCHOOL SLOW COOKER SUPPERS!
This blog post right here is one of my most popular posts of the ENTIRE YEAR!
Out of 465 blog posts last year, this was the 10TH MOST VIEWED ONE!
Today’s updated post includes FIFTY RECIPES to make your school year less complicated, simple, and delicious.
I hope you all have the BEST weekend! I will be back here with you TOMORROW! I’ll see you then! xx

Shay,
We are Ted Lasso fans as well. It’s a bummer when you came into it late and had back to back shows…now you have to wait 😆
We also just finished The Middle…youngest wanted something fun to watch….that show is still so funny, relatable, and tugs at your heart as well!
Happy FriYay and weekend!!

Good morning hand bag queen! Have you ever used the large tote from mz Wallace? I’m looking for a new travel tote and wondering how that compares with the beis weekender bag. Thanks!

I have not, but maybe someone else here has and will have feedback!
