Happy happy FRIDAY, friends!
I don’t know about you, but I am ready for the WEEKEND!
We are about to wrap up Homecoming Week #2 around here. The game was last night, and the dance/photos/dinner and such is Saturday night. Tonight, we have another Lovejoy football game. Both my parents and Andrew’s parents have been here “doing all the hoco” things with us. It has been super busy and super fun. We’re trying to soak up alllllll the things right now with our senior.
I have a few pics from homecoming #1 below (I’ll share the other one next week…since it’s still in progress) as well as several of my other FAVORITE THINGS from this week.
Before we get to those though, I just wanted to say that man, my prayer list is long right now. It’s October and there is football and pumpkins and so much fun and joy and yet still, this world is not our home. Some people I love so very much are walking very hard roads right now…and I know many of you are too. It is not lost on me this week that there is joy…but there is mourning. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for everything. If this season feels especially hard for you right now, I am so very sorry. My prayer request list is long, but there is always room for more. Please feel free to email me and/or comment (I won’t publish the comment) if you have something I can pray over today.
Sending you all so much love.
As always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika and wishing you a great start to your weekend! xx

I am so so excited about this first one!
You guys know how much I S-W-E-A-R by…

…Nutrafol! Truly, truly, I can’t give it enough credit for changing my hair!
Well, looky here at what they just released…

…a new STRAND SERUM! Woohoo!
Mine arrived on Wednesday, and I’ve already used it. If it’s anything like the supplement, I cannot imagine it not being super beneficial to my hair.
This serum goes easily on both wet or dry hair to help reduce/prevent split ends and breakage. It shields hair from daily stressors and heat too.

THE STRAND SERUM is very light. It’s not greasy, it’s not heavy, and it has a light almost floral scent…

…see how light it is? Their results include six times stronger hair, an 83% reduction in breakage over time, a 62% reduction in split ends, and heat protection up to 450°.
Absolutely a fave of mine this week 🙂 .

Last week, we had…

…Lovejoy’s Homecoming! It rained all last week and unfortunately, rained out several hoco things like the parade, the powder puff game was moved indoors, and the homecoming court celebration was too. We all showed up really prepared for wet weather, but it ended up being a GORGEOUS night for a huge Leopards win!

All smiles from these two!

I mentioned this earlier this week, but I came to the game armed with three umbrellas, a sweatshirt, a jacket, and 10 ponchos. And (thankfully!) it never rained.
Since it was homecoming, after the game…

…we were all able to go on the field for pictures. Goodness, I love these two!

Papa Jay and Lovie were there to support the Leopards too!

It was a sweet night all the way around.
On Saturday, Andrew and I went with Smith to homecoming pictures at one of the student’s houses before all of the kids and their dates left on a big bus for dinner and festivities.
One homecoming down, one to go!

I shared…

…THIS DRESS with you in January (and then a few other times this year). It comes in many other colors including a faux brown suede…

…that I wore to church on Sunday. I bought both of mine in XS. I love the fit, the length, the pockets…love! I wore it on Sunday with MY BOOTIES. You can see all of the colors/options HERE.
Okay, I haven’t worn this dress out yet, but I tried it on because I wanted you to see it…

…isn’t it so cute?! It’s velvety and soft and black with a little gold going through there. THIS DRESS is casual enough that I can wear it to church but…

……I bought THESE SHOES for the holiday season to jazz up alllll of my festive outfits…

…I bought them in gold, but they come in many different colors.
Speaking of the holidays…

…last year, I loved THIS TOP so much (I wore it all month long and into January!) that this year…

…I went ahead and bought it in gold too 😉 . It comes in 8 sparkly colors!

A favorite of mine is always anytime any of us can get to Nantucket 🙂 .
(I bet you didn’t think you’d get any Nantucket content on this Friday in October?!)
On Sunday, Andrew needed to go up there and check on the new house/handle details/move our cars/meet with our contractor/etc. You guys, I cannot wait to share it with you. Right now, it’s one giant mess…but by next summer, the Shulls *should* be all moved in and ready enjoy every minute we get to be there.
He left early, early on Sunday morning and sent me this pic…

…which made me laugh. He too cannot quit the Beis luggage! Just a friendly, friendly reminder that if you use code SHULL15, you get 15% off your first purchase!
For this trip, it appears he took both THE CARRY ON ROLLER and THE WEEKENDER.
(We love the MINI WEEKENDER TOO!) My promo code works site wide! SHULL15 🙂
We always send each other pics when we’re there. Here are a few from this week…

…he had a cozy dinner at the bar at Cru. He is currently reading a book called London Falling, and he took that with him to read while he ate.
Since he was staying at The Nantucket Hotel, he had a lot of pics walking to and from the hotel at night…

…looks like a sleepy fall night on Nantucket. This is Main Street…

…and that’s the library…

…the pumpkins and Halloween decor are giving me all the happy vibes outside of Mitchell’s.

A few more pics…

…this one is my fave!

And swordfish tacos…which made me really hungry 🙂 .
Just a few favorite Nantucket pics from this week.

And finally…

…I have 30 SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN TREATS for your October today too!
Whether you need something for a party, your kids’ school or just because, I have you covered. These are all easy, festive, and delicious Halloween recipes.

Alrighty friends, I will see you all back here TOMORROW!
