It’s a day in the life of us post!
Now, that we’ve had sweet Madeley almost five months, I’ve had a lot of people ask me what we do during the day/how I work and take care of kiddos at the same time/etc/etc/etc. So, I randomly picked a day (this last Monday!) and documented it for you. Disclaimer, our life is very boring.
Here we go…
My alarm goes off at either 4:10 or 4:20 every morning so that I can start my day. I do think that I’m more of a morning person than a night person. I mean…I could still sleep later, but when I wake up, I feel pretty energetic and eager to start my day. I’m kind of addicted to that quiet time at my house when everyone else is asleep.
My morning starts with coffee (Nespresso) and my quiet time.
And then I head into my office to work. First up, I check my blog posts. On this day, I had Meal Planning Monday and my January Book Review. From here, I do as much as I can until 6:00. I write blog posts, answer emails, work on travel agency things, handle any publishing tasks…I work, work, work while listening to French music 🙂 .
Good morning to my handsome hubby. He’s heading to the gym.
Side note: I love my robe. It’s that one made from the same company as the blardigan.
At 6:00, I stop what I’m doing and handle a few other things before the kids wake up at 6:30. For instance, I emptied the dishwasher and made breakfast.
Green juice, check. Oatmeal with almond butter, check.
At 6:30, I wake up the troops. Sweet Madeley always has a smile on her face when she wakes up.
Ashby is underneath that first blanket and then Kensington is snuggled beside her.
This girl is so sweet! I dropped her off downstairs and then went back up to wake up the boy.
Love this guy.
I decided to make my life easier, so back when I was eating my breakfast, I started browning my ground beef for the slow cooker. Dinner tonight, Sweet Corn Chili. In the slow cooker, so now, dinner is DONE!
Please note, this conversation will come back to haunt me here in a little bit: Ashby is not a breakfast person. She is a brunch person. I always offer her breakfast but she rarely ever eats it. She wants to eat at 10:30. That’s her sweet spot. So, here I am asking her to eat her yogurt (that’s what she selected) and here she is telling me she just wants to wait and eat later. I say, “where do you want to eat later?” and she says “the hummus place” and the fact that Ashby picks Mediterranean food over some sort of “kid” food is why she’s my favorite child 😉 . (Remember this convo here in a bit.)
After I wake up my kids, there is total chaos. Kids eat, kids get ready for school, I make my bed, I get dressed, I pick up around the house and we put away their breakfast dishes…it’s a flurry of activity. Now, here we all are ready to walk out the door.
I took this pic to show you how I was dressed for the day…but then after I saw it, I realized that it includes so many of my favorite things! Light pair of Nikes for my strength training class, my favorite workout shorts from Athleta (I bet over the years, I’ve bought 15 pairs of these things!), French Affair polish (the perfect pink!), my Apple watch (oh I love you Apple watch!!), Harney & Sons tea in Hot Cinnamon Spice, the softest black sweatshirt ever and my puffer vest.
The littles and me dropped the big kids off at school and then headed to the gym. They love going to the gym to play with their friends!
And I do too 🙂 . Erika, Narci and I were getting ready for class to start. And by getting ready, I mean sitting on the floor talking. Side note, Erika did a day in the life post yesterday too about the exact same day!
Here I am about to head to class (I ditched my sweatshirt and vest in my locker). Please note, I carry too many things: key to my locker, protein powder drink and my tea. Ha! Am I about to go workout or get really thirsty??? And my pink tank can be found HERE.
After class, I washed my face, changed into leggings and Uggs and left the gym. Most days I shower, but on this day, I decided to just make do. Please also note, the weather would swing from 45 to 75 on this day. So…as the day progresses, you’ll see me lose layers :).
I’m faking my smile here. So…remember when Ashby said she wanted Mediterranean food for brunch? Well, we arrived there and it wasn’t open yet, so as we were discussing what errand to run in the meantime, my phone rang and it was someone I really needed to talk to…but I couldn’t hear them. They called back and the same thing happened. Then, I called Andrew and couldn’t hear him. Ugh! I hate it when my phone doesn’t cooperate! So, we had to change our plans. We were due to pick up our groceries at Walmart in an hour, so I told Ashby we couldn’t wait for the restaurant to open, we needed to eat something quick in the car on the way to the phone store (because it’s on the other side of town) and she said she wanted Sonic. Poo. There goes my yummy hummus, pita and feta…we headed to Sonic instead.
And here we are waiting in the phone store for them to fix my phone.
Because a girl can’t run a business without a phone, right? These cuties did a great job while we waited. #thecorndoghelped
After they repaired my phone, we drove to pick up our groceries from Walmart. This is life changing. I placed my order over the weekend and just like magic, everything is put in my car when I pull up. #happydance
We had a few minutes to spare before naps, so the girls played on the driveway a bit…
…she wants a turn on Ashby’s little bike 🙂 . The weather was sunny and gorgeous!
Madeley went down for a nap and Ashby and I did her speech homework.
Then, Ashby went down for a nap and I transferred the clothes to the dryer.
I grabbed some water and dug into work. I was able to work from 12:20 to 3:00.
Around 1:45, I moved into the kitchen for a change of scenery. And I had trail mix. Always with M&Ms…because…that’s the only time you can pretend like an M&M is healthy, right?! 😉
I try, try, try to shut my brain down around 2:40. I close up my office for the day and do something mindless for about 10 minutes. On this day, I read a little Allure.
I woke up these two and we headed to the big kids’ school to pick them up.
It was such a beautiful day that we stayed and played at the school park for an hour.
Walking home from school with my loves.
It was 4:10 and I was needing something…so, I made a smoothie: ice, almond milk, a big bunch of kale, a kiwi and one scoop of vanilla protein powder. That fueled me while I emptied backpacks and did homework with my big kids.
Andrew was home before 5:00 and went outside with the big three while Madeley played with her barn.
Do you see Poppy watching her play? 🙂
Kensington came back inside to see what she was doing.
Then, Andrew came inside and got both girls…and I looked around and realized my house was empty and quiet and dinner was already done in the slow cooker. Hallelujah! So, I took about 20 minutes and read.
Then, I folded that load of laundry. Sigh.
And here I am dishing out dinner to the kiddos. Chili is always a hit at our house!
After dinner, while I was cleaning up the kitchen, Smith and Kensington told me that they learned how to square dance in PE that day. Ha! I asked them for a demonstration and they obliged.
I mean…even the dog is involved. I spend all evening bringing them down…and he spends all evening riling them up. It’s blurry because it was a big pile of crazy kids (and a dog) climbing all over Andrew with me saying “Ashby be careful” about 400 times.
And Madeley is naked…I’m not sure why?
Then, I went upstairs to drop off that load of laundry you saw me fold right before dinner and they were playing Red Light, Green Light. That’s exactly what I meant when I said “go upstairs and get ready for bed”…
And then this boy is proud because he has mastered the art of swallowing pills. He has poison ivy and can now swallow a Benadryl by himself. He was so proud of himself.
Kids in bed, so I finally took a shower and have my hair in a wet bun…because that’s how I do my hair. You can read all about it HERE. And let’s discuss the state of my bathroom.
We’re replacing the floors and making the shelves a little more user-friendly, so hence, the giant mess.
Andrew and I sat down and watched a show and ate a brownie. Because…I like to eat a brownie every night while I sit on the couch with my hubby and watch TV. (And on the floor, is Andrew’s snowboard. He was packing up to leave…so that’s why it’s out there.)
Then, I climbed into bed and read a bit before calling it a night at 10:05.
That’s a day in the life.
To see days from years past, look below…
See you tomorrow!

Sounds like a beautiful full day with lots of people to love! I was wondering what protein powder you use and just your basic nutrition and workout schedule is? I am trying to figure out a workout schedule and not able to go to a gym but would love accountability and encouragement. Thanks and have a blessed day!
Elizabeth says
I was going to ask the same question! I’m always on the hunt for ideas!
Erika Slaughter says
I can’t get over the fact you had to skip out on the hummus!!! Boooo! And I need Smith to teach me a thing or two about taking pills. Remember I’m the-big breath-mind right-one-at-a-time king of girl. 🙂
Anja says
That post was glorious, I loved how many pictures you took and how detailed everything was!
ELizabeth says
Sounds like such a fun and busy day! I secretly wish I was a morning person – I’ve tried so hard and set my alarm so early many times… and enjoy hitting the snooze too much! Enjoy your day!

Such a sweet day. I am surprised that Ashby still
Takes such a long nap during the day at her age. How much does she sleep at night? Did your other kids nap that well at that age?? Mine certainly don’t!!
Mix and Match Mama says
My kids have all been great nappers! Ashby takes one every day and still sleeps about 11 hours each night. And when she doesn’t nap…she falls asleep on the couch around 5:00.
Ramona says
So fun to read a day in your life! I love how you can really fit it all in … fun, work, family. 🙂
Dottie Ruhlig says
I love you puffer vest! Can you tell us where that is from also?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s from Athleta last fall!
Allison says
Do you mind sharing what size you buy in the Athleta stuff? Specifically the vest and shorts? I’m going to order online since it’s so cute on you!!
Megan says
Looks like a full day! Do you order your green juices online or buy them at the local grocery store? I’m looking for a few new brands to try because I don’t love the brands available at my regular grocery store and don’t always have time to make my own.
Mix and Match Mama says
I buy them at my neighborhood grocery store :).
Loren says
I think you should be able to find the same juice.. My friend in NY just picked them up. I think she either said Whole Foods or Target. I think they are made by Bolthouse Farms… should be an easy find. I am in Boston and am looking myself.
Tammy says
I love this ! Thanks for sharing Shay 🙂
Rachel says
Do you get tired with 5-6 hours of sleep? Would love to wake up this early but worry id be crabby and sleepy all day!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I don’t think I do. I bet if I sat down, I would…but I’m always on the go and feel great. If I ever thought I was really tired, I would go to bed early or sleep in a bit.
Sheaffer Sims says
I’m with Erika. Thinking you’re about to eat that amazing hummus and then getting denied is terrible! The weather has been gorgeous this week. We’ve been playing with friends outside until dinner!
Sarah Shaneyfelt says
What protein powder do you use? I need something for after workout to use in my blender bottle!
MeetTheShaneyfelts
Mix and Match Mama says
Whey 🙂
Lesley McFarland says
What a day girl!! I love how each second is accounted for. Your soooo focused.
Wendy says
Smith needs to teach me too about swallowing pills. I’m almost 46 and there still are only a few pills that I can swallow successfully. Thankfully, both my daughters never developed this phobia. They laugh hysterically when I’m taking pills because I have to close my eyes, relax my shoulders, and let the pill swim for a few seconds before I can get it down. My girls call it my “Zen Buddha Pill Time” (they even hum some encouragement). Love your day in the life posts!
Nicole says
What kind of protein powder do you use? 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
Whey in either chocolate or vanilla.
Nicole says
I love these posts! I also love the food inspo. 🙂 Bummer about missing the Mediterranean lunch! Yum! What did you eat at Sonic?
Mix and Match Mama says
A quarter-pounder 😉 . Not nearly as good as the hummus I was hoping for!
Narci says
I just love reading about your day! That picture of the four of you is precious!!
Lauren says
I love these posts! What protein powder you use?
Mix and Match Mama says
a Whey protein 🙂
Amy says
I’m tired just reading this. You have it down. Love an organized lady!! Where did you get your soup bowls at? So pretty!
Mix and Match Mama says
Williams-Sonoma 🙂

Good Morning Shay. I was wondering if you have the Series 2 Apple Watch now? The picture in this post looks different than the post you linked it to- Rose Gold vs Gold casing. If so, is it worth spending the extra money?
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! I do!! I’m obsessed with my Apple Watch :).
Kelly S says
I LOVE a day in the life blog posts…..so fun. Man, you survive on a small amount of sleep. 🙂 I just started that same Bible study last night, and WOW, DID IT SPEAK TO ME. I’m leaving to go back to Iraq in 2 weeks (disaster response nurse with Samaritan’s Purse, I was just in Iraq a month ago) and I had a few fears and anxieties about going back, and day one of that Bible study SPOKE AND PREACHED TO ME so much. I love it. Hope you enjoy it. Love your blog and love your heart for Jesus.
Megan says
Way to go Smith! My six and three year olds can swallow a pill like a champ. My eight year old, not so much. But it is super entertaining to watch him try 😉

How do you like your Vitamix? I make smoothies all the time, so I’m trying to justify to hubby that I need something more sophisticated than my $20.00 blender haha.
Mix and Match Mama says
My parents gave it to me as a Christmas gift several years ago…and it is amazing. It self-cleans too which I LOVE!
Kelly says
How do you run on just 6 hours of sleep? I’m a morning person as well (up at 4:15) but don’t feel like I can function without at least 7 hours 🙂 Thanks for sharing your day!
Lisa says
Hi Shay,
Thanks for sharing your day! What kind of protein powder do you use? Thanks!
Natalie Hoover says
It’s full day but you have it very well mastered… Thankd for some tips.. why do you drink tea instead of coffee.. just curious. As I drink coffee and tea seems so boring when I want to have a cup.. Thanks Shay..
KimW says
Haha – I don’t know why these posts are always so fascinating to me but I love them!! I think you also convinced me to try that tea… it sounds good!! Do you order it online or do they carry it in the store? I haven’t heard of it before! Thanks
Pamela says
I love your blog and these posts are my favorites. I wanted to ask you if you use your vitamix alot…I am trying to decide if I would use it enough to justify the price and counter space
Valerie says
I am always so jealous of the fact that you only need around 6 hours of sleep a night. I usually get around 7.5 hours, but that never feels like enough.
heidi says
I love these fun posts. Every time I see your alarm set for 4:20 I groan at the thought lol.
Sorry about the humus lol
Griffin says
Ground beef in a slow cooker? Please tell me how that turns out and how you do it!
Mix and Match Mama says
My All Clad allows you to brown it in the slow cooker. You can always brown it up first in a skillet and then transfer if your slow cooker doesn’t!
Lauren says
Do you mind sharing what kind of protein powder you use? I’m on the hunt!
Kristin says
I love your day in a life posts! I do have a question for you…what does your cleaning schedule look like? Do you break it up by days or all in one day? Your home looks so neat, clean, and put together! When you find the time to clean bathrooms, floors, vacuum, etc? I have 3 kids and I feel like I’m drowning in housework 🙁 Just trying to figure out how to fit everything in to one day.
Alli says
I’m guessing the cleaning is hired out!
Karen says
She def has a cleaning service.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes, I do have a lady that comes and helps with the cleaning!
Susan says
I love these day in the life posts and you do such a good job being detailed. Seems like you got it together, love your family!
Paula says
Only sad part of your day, no hummus! 😉
Stephanie says
Sidenote: Your kitchen is what my dreams are made of. It’s gorgeous!!

Amanda says
What brand is your protein powder? We all want to know!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s Syntrax Nectar protein :).
Angela Ellingson says
Love these posts! You are so efficient! I usually have a running to do list, but yesterday I scheduled out the whole day time wise. I didn’t stay on schedule perfectly (3 kids at home including a 9 month old, 4-year-old and I’m homeschooling my 6-year-old), but I for sure got more done. Scheduling today as well. Thanks for sharing your life. You inspire me!
Lindsay Wagner says
This is going to be the most random question, but explain to me the slow cooker thing. I always know how long my meal has to cook on low or high, but how do you start your meal so early? Meaning, I know it didn’t say to cook it for 12 hours? Does it keep it warm after cooking it for awhile?!?! Would love to start my chicken and beef crockpot meals first thing, but I’m not sure how to keep it “safe to eat” for that long on the counter. Random question, I know! 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
Great question! My All Clad has a timer, so I set it for 8 hours on low heat and then it automatically flips to “keep warm” after that. That being said, I often change the setting to 8 or 10 hours depending what’s inside because some things are just better after they’ve been cooked longer (I think chili would be one of those things!).
Lindsay Wagner says
Thank you for this info! Mine has a “keep warm” also! I need to see how long it will keep it warm before turning off. THANK YOU! This has just changed my life. Oh, and tonight I’m making your easy King Ranch Casserole, and I just put my chicken in the crockpot to cook so I can shred it when the girls are home this afternoon, and then they can hopefully help me assemble. Your cooking stuff has changed my world! 🙂
Loren says
Great question Lindsay- I was wondering the same thing. Some days I start chicken at 7 and it might as well be rubber when I am done with it.
Brittany Medland says
First- I would LOVE to function on 6 hours of sleep! #lifegoals. I love reading everyday but rarely comment, so thank you for the great company every morning 🙂 from ON, Canada.
Do you love your Nespresso over the Keurig ? I’ve been thinking about switching.
Mix and Match Mama says
I do. I miss the variety of flavors that Keurig offers but the quality of coffee is just so much better.
Amber says
You fascinate me. You are just a sweet, sweet woman. You are such a good example to women out there on how to be a great wife, a FABULOUS mother, and still take time to take care of yourself. You’re one of those girls that people just want for a girlfriend. I’m so glad I found your blog.
Megan Butler says
Girl!!!! I’m sooo tired just reading your post!!! I am definitely a night person. I get so much accomplish at night when my kids are in bed!!! But I’m amazing that you get up so early!! And always have such a full day!
Jen says
Shay, first off I love your day in the life!! Question for you, I want to drink green juice, I really want to but every time I think there is no way I can drink the entire bottle of this! what is a mild green juice I could star off on?!
Mix and Match Mama says
At first, it’s not the most delicious thing, but now, I actually crave them. It’s an acquired taste to say the least!
Lynn says
I think I need those shorts in my life! What size did you get, I love online shopping! =)
Mix and Match Mama says
xsmall seems to work for me! They wash and dry perfectly!
Kristen says
I am always so amazed at how clean your house is! We have 4 kids too and it’s go go go as well. Maybe my kids have too many toys? But there are toys EVERYWHERE in my house! LOL! I love just love these daily recaps you do. Thanks for sharing!
Rebecca Jo says
How you do it all every post just blows my mind. God bless your active heart 😉
I just love how every day is full of JOY & Smiles… makes it all worth the ‘busy’, huh?
Kelsey says
You all had a busy day!! I’m horrible at swallowing pills so go Smith! I’m impressed at how well you’re able to do at getting all your work done for the blog, your travel agency & your books in the few hours a day you get to work! I think that could be a good post idea for you! How you structure your work time and stay focused to get as much done as fast as possible.
Michelle B. says
Love your day in the life posts. They’re my favorite! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Chelsey Boren says
I see you got an all clad crock pot! My mom should be their spokesman. She has 2 ? and bought my sister and I one for Christmas one year. It’s truly amazing
Lara M says
Hi Shay! Two random questions for you: 1. How often do you whiten your teeth? Your teeth look so great always and I wondered how often you have to keep up with it given your love of coffee and tea. 2. Are your brownies homemade or do you buy something pre-made/frozen?
Mix and Match Mama says
Hahaha! I just covered the brownie question and I whiten my teeth in spurts. I remember to do it several days in a row and then I’ll forget for six weeks.
Erin says
Do you just brown the meat, transfer to the slow cooker and leave it on low all day?
Mix and Match Mama says
Absolutely!
Kelly says
Impressed every single time you post these at how much you can fit into a day!
Adrienne says
Love these posts 🙂 I notice in most of your day in the life posts you end your day with a brownie for dessert before you go to best. Do you make these from a box or homemade? Also do you freeze them or just make a weekly batch.
Mix and Match Mama says
It depends…I can do either. It depends on what I’m making that week for my blog or a cookbook. I always just make a batch and we eat on them for five days or so and then I’ll make another batch.
Nicole says
Do you use your everyday brownie recipe still or has it changed?! 🙂
Nicole says
I have to know!! Do you still make the same as your everyday brownie post, or has it changed? 🙂 Thanks!!
Mix and Match Mama says
For the most part, it’s the same. It all kind of depends on what else I’m working on in the kitchen that week.
Chrystianne says
I was going to ask what protein powder you use, but that seems to have been covered already haha. I have no idea how you function on 6 hours of sleep. I always need a 10 minute power nap to get me through the rest of the afternoon. Love these “A Day in the Life” posts 🙂
Kristina B says
I loved that book (and the other two!). It’s “sort of” a trilogy.
Heather Bramelett says
What a fun filled day!!
I love naked little Madeley! So cute!! I have not always been an early riser but I’m now! I’m with you! I like the quiet of my house while everyone is still asleep!
jessica says
This is a little more random, but where are your curtains from? Are they custom? I’m on the hunt for nice looking window treatments.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes, they’re custom. Thank you though!
Holly says
Have you tried the Instant Pot? I used to love my slow cookers until I was introduced to the Instant Pot! Life changer!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t yet. I’m so partial to my slow cooker but I friends who swear by them!
Lizzie @ This Happy Life says
I loved this peak into your life with 4 kiddos 🙂 Looks like you use your time wisely throughout the day, I try and do the same. I wish I could get up earlier, I try and try but it just doesn’t happen. I’m not a morning or a night person LOL

I don’t know why I find these so interesting, but I do! I just like people in general and love getting to know them like this. Every day stuff. Thanks for taking the time!

Love these simple day in the life posts! Kids are so cute! Do you prefer Athleta to Lululemon? Also did you eat at sonic? I feel like you eat very healthy and was wondering if you have tips of eating healthy there and at other fast food/casual dining places?
Mix and Match Mama says
I do. I feel like the quality is really good at Athleta, they have a great return policy and it’s less expensive. And I ate my sorrows in a quarter-pounder 😉 .
Aubrey says
That’s a fun-filled, action-packed day for sure! I’m so jealous that your kids nap. I would be over the moon if any of my girls would take a nap after her second birthday. Booooooo.
Melissa Goetz says
Where are your shorts from?! I love them!
Emily says
Random question!! What deoderant do you swear by living in such a hot and humid state??!!
Mix and Match Mama says

what kind of protein powder do you use???

I love when you do these posts! So fun!

I am 66 years old and still get poison ivy. Now when I work outside, I come in and wash my hands, arms and face with Dawn Dish washing soap. I also keep a bottle of Ban Roll On Deodorant in my cabinet and if a rash should pop up, I immediately and it dries it out. I used this on my boys when they were young because you didn’t need a doctor’s note when they applied it in school. I hate taking medicine and this works so well I don’t have to.
Debbie says
OMG! I’m tired just reading it, let alone doing it! You are AMAZING Shay! SUPERWOMAN! ???
Alison T says
I think my favorite part was the photo of the kids playing red might green light and you mentioning you had asked them to go upstairs and get ready for bed. It’s refreshing to have you reveal an imperfection. ?Because your family always looks so perfectly put together. So I love that you included those evening aspects!
Carrie says
I agree the day in a life posts are fun to read. With kids a routine is good. Sleep is important and less then 6 hours has some health impacts in the longterm. I am a special education preschool teacher so I love seeing that a parent is doing speech homework!!

Cute post, love K’s arm around Ashby while they are playing with the barn. I noticed recently that the complete text of your posts don’t come through on Feedly anymore, I guess maybe related to the website redesign? Anyway I find that I’m not reading them as much as a result and wondered if you could consider changing that.
Mix and Match Mama says
I’ve been told that’s a Feedly issue. I checked just yesterday!
Catherine says
Hi Shay. Day in the life posts are so fun!! Thanks for sharing. Just wondering how you handle reading blogs and social media. Do you have certain times for the day to do that. I find myself getting way too distracted by it.

I read blogs first thing in the morning and then try and only check IG about 2 to 3 times a day.

What brand is your refrigerator and freezer? Are they columns? We are wanting a built in set and trying to decide on the best size for each. Is your refrigerator bigger than your freezer?
Mix and Match Mama says
We have a sub zero where the fridge is bigger than the freezer. We love it :).

Questions for you: Do you use an InstaPot — do you like it?
And have you tried Latisse or Lash Boost? I am curious about both products but have never tried either. I loved this post. . .makes me feel like i waste a lot of time during the day! HA!

I am an instant pot user. I just got it around Christmas and it has changed my cooking completely. I LOVE it and I was a die hard crockpot fan. I got the older model so it was not pricey.

I agree with the majority here, your Day in the Life posts are the BEST!! I have been reading your blog for several years and now my 17 and 14 year old daughters are reading it!! So I am obsessing over that adorable pink bowl with the Strawberries on it that Ashby’s yogurt was in!! Do you remember where you got that?! So sweet! Thank you for sharing your fun life and for all your real moments! Also, I still love Athleta, but I am super excited over Lularoe Leggings!! Have you tried them?

I made this chili tonight in my crockpot and it was delicious! My family declared it a winner. I used ground chicken instead of beef. I didn’t have diced tomatoes so I used a can of crushed tomatoes and it turned out great! Thanks!!!

What time do your kids have to leave that you have to wake them 6:30?
Mix and Match Mama says
We leave about 7:40 :). They want a solid 30 to 40 minutes of breakfast and lazy time before they need to get dressed.

You have a wonderful life Shay! Would love for you to do a post on how you were able to set up your travel agency and work from home. I want to do the same thing and don’t know How to start.

We have been out for three solid days with the stomach bug. I just read this and wondered… Do you ever get sick?!?! lol
My husband is a merchant marine over seas and I am usually home w/ the boys for 4-6 weeks at a time with no help so to be out of commission is pretty much as you can imagine. My kids ate chocolate sauce for breakfast. Balance 🙂

How appropriate for the last picture of your phone to say it’s 33% charged! Your phone needs to recharge for the next day, too! Love these memories captured on an ordinary day 🙂
