Happy Tuesday!
Once a month, I link up with Ashley and Erika who host Tuesday Talk.
For this link up, you are supposed to chat about anything and everything.
In January, we chatted about whether or not I should keep my home phone. (You overwhelmingly told me TO keep it!)
In February, we chatted about preparing for sitters at your house.
In April, we chatted about a book I read called Unstuffed.
In May, we chatted about what TV shows are good for kiddos.
And today, we’re chatting about BOWS & CLOTHES.
I get asked a lot about my girls’ clothes and their hair bows, so today, I thought I’d share my sources because as much as I want to pretend it’s not happening…back to school will be here before we know it and you might need already be looking for bows and clothes to kick off fall.
What gave me the idea for this particular post today was that last Wednesday, Matilda Jane (where I buy the majority of my girls’ clothes) unveiled their new back to school line and then at the same time, my cousin Casey (who owns One Stop Bow Shop) posted these pictures on her site and social media…
Isn’t that so cute?! She made bows to correspond to the new Matilda Jane line.
(You know you’re a girl mom when that excites you!)
Right now, Casey is offering 20% off all orders with code: shay20 . She said this code will go through July 31 with free shipping on all orders over $20. Sounds like a good deal, right?!
So, since today is supposed to be a random post about anything, this is mine 🙂 . If you want to order bows from Casey, you can find her shop’s website HERE and she is even a Matilda Jane rep, so you can order some cute back to school clothes for your girls (ages birth to even adult clothes!) HERE.
Bows, clothes and back to school…
…I sure love my three little bow heads!
Happy Talk Tuesday!

I’ve ordered SO many bows from Casey throughout the last two years. They are my absolute favorite! They stay in better than any others we’ve tried and they hold their shapes perfectly. My oldest daughter is almost four now, so I need to get some bigger ones!

First of all…such cute items! I see some shopping in my future. Do you have a go-to regarding shorts to wear under dresses? I’ve got one going into Kinder and one going into PreK and its for sure time to make sure that anytime they wear dresses, they are covered so that they can play, play, play to their heart’s content! Also, I LOVE your blog!

My daughter will not keep a bow in her hair once she realizes they’re there. I can’t even pull her hair in ponytails if we’ll be driving because she hates the feeling of then against her car seat. Any tips for me?

Are these bows a Texas thing? I don’t really get it. I think they take away from their beautiful little faces. I don’t mind the smaller ones but some of the bows are so big. I really haven’t seen anything like it here in Canada. Unless you’re a competitive cheerleader. Just curious. Your family is beautiful!
Mix and Match Mama says
Ha! Yes, I believe it’s a Southern thing :).

Mix and Match Mama says
XL Jumbo
Britt says
Love the giant bows! I hope to have a girl one day to buy bows for! Yes it’s def a southern thing & one of my favorites (along with smocked clothing & bubbles on babies!) mj is new for me, as I don’t love the mixed patterns/too big of Ruffles on little ones but I’m loving the women’s line so far and I’m sure if I do ever have a baby girl, I’ll learn quickly all about mj. So great that your cousin matched bow colors to new line! Your family is beautiful! Even non bow wearing smith & Andrew ☺️
