Today’s the BIG day!

My newest book, Simmers, is officially out in bookstores and online!

I signed my contract to write this book in November 2014.  Yeah, that’s right…I’ve been looking at this date on my calendar for three years, so to say I’m excited that it’s finally here is an understatement.  I love all of my books…but this one is really special to me.  I wrote this book last summer and with every recipe that I tried, tweaked and retried, I thought of you.  Slow Cooker recipes just make all of our lives a little easier.  I know you guys are busy, I know you have a lot on your plate, but I know you want to sit down and enjoy a meal with your families…and this book makes that easier.  I am so happy to share it with YOU!

So, what am I doing to enjoy my big day?  Celebrating?  Partying? Entertaining?  Nope.  I’m walking the dog, planning some vacations, being the mystery reader for Pre-K and shuttling kids between speech and dance…because you know…mom life 😉 .

I really cannot thank you ladies enough for supporting me all of these years.  Simmers is also special because I turned it in the afternoon before we left to get Madeley.  Talk about crazy busy and super excited!!  I wrapped it up and hit “send” right around 2:00 PM that day and then the next morning, we left to get our girl.  I will always have so many fond memories of the making of this book, and I hope you get it and have fond memories made around the table while enjoying these easy and yummy recipes.
