Ashby is six!


Tomorrow, our sweet Ashby turns SIX!

How is she already six?! I feel like she was just a shy little two year yesterday.

We are confident that Ashby is going to rock kindergarten next year!  She loves school, loves learning, loves being around other kids…she is READY!

She is also SPUNKY!  Ashby is funny, sweet, sensitive and a ham all at once.  She is always ready for a good time and is voted “most likely to please” around here.

Our Ashby girl is brave too.  She fights things on a daily basis that most people will never understand.  She is tough, she is strong, she is capable and she never gives up.  I have never heard her complain one time about certain things…she just deals with it like a champ.

Ashby London Shull is just the most precious little girl.

Right now, she loves everything Frozen, playing with Barbies, playing “school” with Kensington, board games and card games (especially Go Fish!), she loves to talk about what she’s going to be when she grows up (a mommy, doctor and cheerleader), she looooooooves to swim, her favorite foods are all still veggies (she cannot get enough!), she likes to pick out what she’s going to wear for the day, she’s starting to be so helpful with chores around the house, and she just is genuinely so happy.

She calls her brother “Smithy” and her big sister “Chi-Cha”.  I kind of panicked the other day and asked her what she was going to say when people at school asked who her siblings are and she was like, “Moooooom, I’m going to say Smith and Kensington Shull”.  Ha!  I was like, well, you never call them that, so I was nervous.  Ha!  She’s getting SO BIG!

We are so blessed to have her in our lives.  We love this girl so much!!

    I decided to become a doctor when I was Ashby’s age. I graduated medical school last month and am starting my residency in a couple of weeks. I pray that Ashby’s passions will be fulfilled in the plans of our Great God!

    Happy birthday to your sweet girl! If she loves card games look into “Spot It” it’s so fun! There is a frozen edition but the basic edition is perfect for kindergarten! Your whole family will love it.
