I am SO EXCITED!!!!!

I love Halloween so much!  The friends, the family, the food, the fun…ALL.OF.IT.

2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

I mean…I’m still on a high from Sunday night’s World Series win!!!!  I’ve been thinking about it all week and reminiscing about our trip to Game One last Tuesday.

3: WHAT I’M LOVING:

Guys!  A reader told me about this app, and I love it!  It’s about all of Hallmark’s new Christmas movies.  It even can send you notifications when they’re about to start.  Hahahahaha!  I reallllly liked their first original movie this year, Christmas at Pemberley Manor, and can’t wait for the next one.  All of you Hallmark groupies out there like me, get the app 🙂 .

I’m also loving this right now…

Look at Kensington’s sweet smile!!  Braces off 🙂 .  I have loved every stage of motherhood so far…with each one, I think “gosh, this is the best and I’m going to be sad when it’s over”, but you know what?  They just keep getting sweeter.  I love this girl so much!!

4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

ALL. THE. FALL.

We cannot get enough FALL in our lives!  Last night, we carved our jack-o-lanterns and listened to Thriller.  I’m going to be sad when this sweet season is over.

Side note…I’ve been getting A LOT of questions about this lip color (in the pic above).  I’ve mentioned it before, but it’s totally worth repeating…

…it’s Stila in Perla.  Best part?  It does not budge all day long.

5: WHAT I’M DREADING:

I think I’m good today.  Not dreading anything right this minute 🙂 .

6: WHAT I’M WORKING ON:

7: WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

I’m going on a girls trip this weekend with my besties!!  I am so excited about this!!!

8: WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:

My October Book Review was up yesterday…

…I read SIX books!!  Some were outstanding and others, just okay.  Click HERE to read about them!

Annnnnnnd…I can’t stop, won’t stop watching the Hallmark Christmas movies.  I love that they’re family-friendly!  Kensington, Ashby and I love cuddling up and watching them.

9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:

You better believe it!  Hahahaha!  I should be embarrassed, but I’m not.  Carols all around beginning tomorrow!

10: WHAT I’M WEARING:

You mean besides Red Sox gear?  Um, my sweater game is STRONG this fall…

I’m still in love with this one here!  I am wearing it in pink with a cami under it, but it also comes in several other colors.

I bought this chenille sweater last year and am still wearing the heck out of it.  This year, they brought it back in a whole slew of colors.  The champagne is probably the closest to the one I bought last year.

And speaking of chenille…can’t stop, won’t stop with this one!  I bet I wear it once a week!

And then look at these…

 

Are they tennis shoes?  Wedges?  What are they?  Who cares?!  They’re so comfy and eaaaaaasy for casual days!!!  They come in two colors and I’ve worn them every day for about six days in a row!!

11: WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:

You know, I haven’t been to New York City in a while, so I thought I’d go back with my best friends.

Hahahaha!

Four times in about six weeks.

I love you NYC!

12: WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:

Kicking off all the holiday FUN!!!

13: WHAT ELSE IS NEW:

Did you hear that my Boston Red Sox won the World Series? 😉

Bonus question this month:   WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME?

I mean, this was the very first one that came to mind…

A year later and she’s still obsessed with Moana!  About 10 minutes before I started writing this post today, she and I played the matching games with her Moana cards 🙂 .

    Okay, so I think I need to save the question list. I’m missing some questions in mine! Loving the wedge sneakers in black so much!!! And I typically don’t get in to Hallmark movies. What is wrong with me? I did however watch 2 Lifetime movies this weekend when the boys were out of town. In one of them, the new neighbor that moved in next door faked a pregnancy and tried to steal a baby. Now that’s some good t.v.

    Each year I’ve started listening to Christmas music a little bit earlier than the last! I was thinking yesterday that I was excited to start turning on the Pandora Christmas station as soon as Halloween’s over. My Christmas decorations will probably go up in a couple weeks. So glad to hear there are others with “OCD”

    That Moana costume is my favorite. She is too cute! I am sad all the fall festivities are coming to and end, but not going to lie I am also looking forward to all things Christmas! I am going to be in full Christmas mode after today. Actually, who am I kidding, I have already been watching the Hallmark movies on repeat! I downloaded the app too and will be setting my DVR to record all the new movies each week! Ha!

    Thanks for the reminder that all stages of motherhood are fun. My oldest (12) decided he’s not trick or treating this year and it broke my heart! Thankfully my younger two are still up for it. And my dog has no choice but to wear his Halloween bandana ;). Happy Halloween!

    Yay!! NYC is so fun! I loved to drive down for quick trips when I lived in Boston. And speaking of Boston…heck yes they won the World Series!! My hubby and I were watching the final game on Sunday and he scared the crap out of me when that final pitch was thrown…he was jumping up and down and hollering haha! So fun! I love those sneakers!! I’ve been looking for some just like those! Oh and girl, you better believe I’m UHB-SESSED w/ Hallmark movies! I’m all about starting Christmas movies the day after Halloween too…there’s so many great ones out there that if you waited until December you’d never make it through them all haha. And cutest Moana ever! Seriously, what a doll. Thanks for a super fun version of WUW. Have a fabulous week and a spook-tacular Halloween! 🙂

    Hello from NYC here! I hope you have a fabulous girls weekend in the city! Just a heads up that the NYC marathon is on Sunday. This could put a wrench in travel plans if you are heading out to the airport that day. So just keep that in mind. But it’s great to be a spectator and the weather looks perfect for it! I saw Beautiful on Broadway last night. I definitely recommend it for a girls night out. Have a great trip!

    I was going to comment about the Hallmark XM Station as well! I usually listen to channel 71 (Siriusly Sinatra) and I am super excited to go move down one station tomorrow! Christmas music makes me so happy. I am super excited about Hallmark’s station

    I LOVED Hallmark’s Christmas at Pemberley Manor last weekend! Did you know that the star, Jessica Lowndes, sings in real life? Don’t forget about the “other” Hallmark Channel – Movies and Mysteries. They also have at least 11 new Christmas movies, for a total of 37 on both channels!

    Wow! NYC again? How on earth do you and your husband coordinate the kids when you are out of town during the school week? We only have three kids but my husband and I are often two ships passing in the night trying to get them everywhere they need to be so I am genuinely curious how you guys do this with 4 kids?!?! You should do a post on it!

    Hi Shay! Love your family posts and watching your precious ones growing! Could you do a post about what Smith likes to wear? Shoes, boots, rain boots, jackets, hats, pants, shirts/sweaters — and where you like to shop for him? A boy after 2 girls it’s rough to shop for a boy – I don’t know what boys wear?!? LOL. (And I’m not real big into all graphic tees as his wardrobe) I’m having such a hard time now that he’s in kindergarten and needing big guy clothes. Would love a similar post from Erika with her 2 boys.
