It’s FRIDAY!!!

Yesterday, we put up all of the Christmas decor, so I’m 100% holiday ready over here.  (We all know I was holiday ready on November 1st, but now, the house matches my mindset…)

I’m suuuuuuuper pumped about today because as of 3:00 PM, THE KIDS ARE ON THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!!!  We’re staying in town all week, but we have several fun things planned before and after the big Turkey Day.  Next week, I WILL BE BLOGGING, so come on back for the fun 🙂 .  In the meantime, guess what?  I’m partnering with Nordstrom and ShopStyle today to share some of my favorite holiday gift ideas!  #woohoo  I plan on doing tons of holiday shopping this week online so that it can get delivered, get wrapped and get under my tree.  As always, I’m linking up with my friends Erika, Narci and Andrea and sharing some of my favorite things including GIFTS!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! xo

I have to kick off my favorites today by wishing this guy…

…a very happy birthday!

Today, Sean Lowe turns 35, and we’re celebrating it big time this weekend!  This guy is such a good dad and husband to his sweet family.  It has been such an honor to watch him step into the role of dad like he has.  It’s been a blessing to see that Lowe dad gene being passed on to him (because Lowe men are AWESOME dads!).  Wishing Seanie Bear (that’s what we’ve called him since he was born and probably something he doesn’t want me sharing…but if you’ve ever seen the pics he posts of me on my birthday, then you know that ALL THE GLOVES ARE OFF!) a happy birthday!!

Hey, hey, hey, did you hear that I went to NYC for the fourth time this fall last week?!  I bet you might have.  Do you know what you didn’t hear?  That I wore two super cute tops, but you never saw them because…I was always wearing my jacket!  #sigh #coldweatherproblems

This one right here was like totally my fave!  I found this one pic of it from our trip, but you can see it better HERE.  It comes in several colors and is super cozy and light (not heavy!).  I thought the relaxed fit was super flattering too.

And then, I wore this one on day two, but sadly, found no pics with my coat removed…

…but I’ve worn it twice now since I’ve been home, so I snapped a few pics for you.  I heart these Patagonia sweaters so much!!!  I layered one of those tanks under it and paired it with my Uggs (soooooooo comfy!!!)…

For the Manda Strong Foundation 5K on Saturday, I added my coat, a scarf and hat (all from last year, but the links take you to similar ones!).

I would say that Patagonia is one of my favorite fall/winter brands.  Look at these pics from me wearing them last year…

…they’re soft, warm, wash and dry well (I always put mine in the dryer), come in a gazillion colors.  They would make excellent gifts this holiday season!!

…THE GIBSONxGLAM SQUAD HOLIDAY LINE IS SO CUTE!!!!!

I ordered two tops from the new line to go with this one I already had.  It’s so fun!!!  Paired with my silver sandals, fun earrings and you can even order sequin pants from the Gibson line too!!  All the details from when I wore my outfit in NYC HERE.

So, when Nordstrom asked me if I wanted to share my favorite holiday gift ideas, I was like SURE because, as you know, some of my favorite gifts come straight there.  With free shipping, free returns, free alterations and the new curbside pick up (you can order online and then your stuff is delivered to your car!!), they make holiday shopping SO DARN EASY!  I thought I’d focus today on some of my favorite picks for the ladies in your life right now that work no matter their age…

PJs are one of my most popular gifts!  I feel like everyone from my 17 year old babysitter to my grandmother like new pajamas.  I bought these back in October and love them so much!  Aren’t they super cute?  They come in 8 different fun patterns.   As you know, I also love to gift Ugg slippers with my pjs.  PJs plus Uggs equal the PERFECT GIFT!  I am a devout person Ugg slipper gal.  I recommend buying true to size.  They will be a little snug at first, but they do stretch and conform to your feet.  They also come in 8 different colors and I bought the nightfall leather one.

Hi, my name is Shay and I love my robe.  I also love gifting robes.  They’re soft, they’re cozy, you don’t have to know exact sizes and everyone always gets excited when they receive on.  Mine is the light gray/white one, but they have so many other choices too.  These are seriously the softest robes!!!

I’ve said this 1 billion times, but every lady in your life (from teen to senior adult) will love these too…

    If you like Patagonia (which i love also) check out vineyard vines. I find them to have a less bulky fit.

      I don’t wash them. I will take a microfiber cloth and dust them off and then spray the inside to make them smell nice, but I don’t wash them.

    Do you size up with the layering tank? I have some of the Nordstrom brand two-way tanks/camisoles in my normal size (s), but they roll or ride up as I move around and they aren’t as long as yours look.
