Amazon Lately.


It’s the last day of August…and it’s also my monthly AMAZON LATELY!

I mean to tell you, what would we do without Amazon?

Drive to stores?

What?

NO!

I can’t leave my house with these four kiddos virtually learning!

I’m here.

All day.

All. Day.

So, I’m super grateful when things come to me 🙂 .

This month’s roundup is, as always, super random.

We’ve been using Folex for YEARS.  Seriously, YEARS.  It’s my favorite carpet cleaner and I needed to order more…because you know, #life.

Smith and I have been using these on the driveway before school…part getting exercise, part playing around and mostly, competing over who can do it the longest/best.  This will work your legs, friends!  Woozers!

I like to always wear a sweatshirt to the gym in the morning.  It’s cozy.  It’s early in the morning and often chilly when I’m in my car.  The gym is freezing.  I like to have a “top” to my tank top underneath.  I saw this on Amazon and loved it so much that I already bought a second one…

…cute, right?!  I bought it in a blue color too.

We have been having so much fun with these donut molds!!!  Ohhhhhhhh!  Just wait 🙂 !

Smith saved up his money and bought himself a poker set.  He taught Ashby how to play…and then he regretted that decision because she’s freakishly good at it.  My kids need to go back to school…

I bought this about a month ago and love it!!  I have been using this prayer journal along with my morning Quiet Time, and it’s SO helpful!  It not only keeps your prayers organized but there is a place for reflection and gratitude too.  This is a wonderful gift idea!!  Go ahead and gift it with…

I bought these for my big kids to use while learning at home.  They’re small, they have the little microphone on them, they stay in place.  Easy peasy.

      I received that prayer journal for Christmas last year and love it! Amazon deliveries come to my house almost daily. Received my groceries this weekend from Amazon Fresh. I love only having to go to the grocery store for a few pick up items and get the rest from Amazon and Costco delivery. I think that this will be a new normal for me, even after the Covid concerns are over as it saves so much time. Thanks for the great tips for what you like in Amazon. Have a blessed Monday!

    My last order had Adidas football socks and football towel, because my baby boy’s (a senior in high school) first football game of the season is this Friday night!!! Allllll the praise hands because we have been so scared that this season might not happen!!!

      The last thing I primed was my Maybelline Great Lash mascara, the pink and green one, because they didn’t have it when I ordered it in my Walmart pickup yesterday! And, a National Geographic book about the Alamo because my son wants to study more Texas history at home than what he’s getting at school.

    Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the years, too. I always tell my kids that Sept. 1st is the gateway to the holiday season. At least, I think so!

    This is so timely, because I’m placing a good sized Amazon order today! I am definitely going to check out the Prayer Journal and the ear buds for my girls. Also, that is so funny about Ashby beating Smith after he taught her how to play!

    The last thing I primed was an air purifier. My allergies have been on fire this year (which is super awkward). I bought the blueair one.

    Even though I’m priming more this year, I think we are actually saving because I’m buying what I actually need vs. what I need +100 (hello, Target).

    Our school is starting back hybrid so my Amazon lately has been all things school – mask lanyards that breakaway (#safetymom), a small Simple Human lidded trash can for masks so they don’t make it past the mudroom and I don’t have dirty masks lying around the house ?, blue light glasses for kids, volume limiting headphones and earbuds (Lil Gadgets), Hand sanitizer, liquid soap, and lots of school supplies for school and for home learning on virtual days. Also some of our teachers have Amazon wish lists so I primed them something to get their year started ?

    Photo corners. We store our photos electronically, but I keep a physical “This is Your Life” photo album for each child with significant events marked by photos I print and add to the albums each year—about 20 photos Of them each year—though it is hard to keep it to 20. It’s wonderful to pick up the albums and remember events large and small that might slip away otherwise, and also count our blessings. Kolo has the most beautiful scrapbook dry-mount photo albums. Also made one for my mother!

    My husband says Amazon is my boyfriend. HA! I have primed a green sweater Shaeffer featured, a silk pillowcase, pens, a wave we go and a necklace organizer. The NSale had me slacking on the zon in August. LOL

    I think I have been on Amazon everyday for the past 5 days. This morning I ordered a plain garden flag and a garden steak for a craft project I’m working on. Yesterday it was Dixie cups and self-rising flour.

    I just received wonderful Aftershokz bluetooth ear buds (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F79D471/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for working around the house along with a hard shell case for them. I also just received Angel Eyes eye pads for our little yorkie whose eyes weep, a mount for a Garmin tail light for my husband’s bike, and a Mercy Me cd which I didn’t have (Welcome to the New). Crazy mix of things, but isn’t that the way it is with Amazon?

    Ashby and Smith playing poker cracks me up. My siblings and I did too, mostly during Tripoly. The last thing I primed was toddler paint smocks because my almost 2 year old gets paint all over her when we paint for kindergarten with her older siblings. And a probiotic for my baby.
