Ohhhhh! Trader Joe’s posts make me happy!!
I am one of those people who, this time of year especially, plan her Trader Joe’s shopping as an outing…like I’m going somewhere special not the grocery store. Bahaha! Anyone else?! Kind of like when I go to Hobby Lobby…it’s an experience, not an errand. Needless to say, this week when I went, I found a few new things that I couldn’t wait to share. My plan is to do a complete Christmas Guide to Trader Joe’s Shopping soon, but for now, this is what I’m loving, and I wanted to share it with you before you did your Thanksgiving shopping. Starting with…
FRIENDS! They made they’re amazing Brioche Bread GLUTEN-FREE!!!!! I about cried. I love using this in breakfast casseroles like…
…my Maple Apple Sausage Breakfast Casserole (and really, so many of my other ones too!), but it’s really good toasted with jam in the morning as well. I was so excited to see that they now have a g-free option too! I bought two loaves!
Speaking of which…
…if you’re a g-free family too, it’s really the only place where we buy bread. There are so many options (even more than this!) for gluten-free living.
Kensington was pumped when I came home with this Chocolate Chip Cookie Baking Mix too! She had these whipped up in no time flat! I’ve shared these bars before…
…and they’re always so yummy when we make them too!
Yes, yes and yes to these cashews!! These are NOT spicy, just very flavorful! I love them for afternoon snacking or as an addition to my charcuterie board.
Um, yes. So much yes. Yes, yes, yes. I try not to buy things that are not g-free, but I had to buy this next item to dip in there…
…and I did not regret it! This combo is heavenly!!!
Okay, I eat some sort of lunch from Trader Joe’s almost every day. I tried this one on Tuesday…
…and it was so dang good!!!
Kensington and Ashby agreed that this next item was the best thing I bought this week…
…Kensington said it was like eating “air in the North Pole”. I will have to buy several more of these when I go back!! Speaking of which…
…Gluten-Free Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s for the win!!! These are not just great for snacking, they are great to use for cookie crusts in pie recipes too!! If you’re not a g-free family, you can get them “regular” too. Speaking of g-free…
…awwww! So festive and delish!! It’s an individual portion size too, so if you’re looking for just one g-free dessert/breakfast to have on hand for someone, here you go!
I feel like Trader Joe’s, seasonally, has different types of Truffle Cheese, but this one is my fave!
And finally…
…for all of that holiday pie making I need to do!
Whew! That’s it! I’ll get a holiday guide together soon for Trader Joe’s as well!!! If you have any new finds for me, PLEASE COMMENT AND SHARE!!
Also, don’t forget, if you want to see even more of my favorite Trader Joe’s finds, you can by clicking here…

A word of caution about Trader Joe’s seasonal items. The pandemic has put a kink on our supply chain. So don’t wait until your next visit to get those favorites….chances are they’ll be done for the season. Thank you for all your wonderful support.

All of these look perfect for the holiday season!
Thanks for sharing!

Love Trader Joe’s! I saw a list of yummy foods from Target the other day that were intriguing and several are really good! If you go to Lynzyandco on IG, she has it linked on her bio. I haven’t tried very many yet, but the Sweet Cajun trail mix is really good! I was so surprised to see lots of options that I’ve never seen before. And I bet your readers have some good ones, too! ?

These posts make me wish we had a Trader Joe’s closer to home! Jealous of your delicious finds 🙂
Chrissy says
They also have peppermint marshmallows right now that are SO yummy (similar flavor to the meringue) and gingerbread coffee that is delicious

Perfect timing – I’m heading to our newest TJ today (it’s an hour away, so I plan trips around work in the area!).
Had just texted my college daughter that I was heading there and would let her know the treats I find today ❤️❤️(She said to check the freezer section; she heard they have good seasonal items there. I am so proud- she has learned well! Ha!)

Love your Trader Joe’s posts ? Recent favorite find was soft baked snickerdoodles and they are vegan/gluten free! So good!

Shay, I’m about to cry! I’ve been GF for about 8 years now and I’ve missed making bread pudding because the gf bread options were just not good. I now have hope with the GF Brioche from TJ’s! The Panettone, too. I’m just so happy I think I could burst. Thanks so much for the post!
Mix and Match Mama says
Right?! It’s the little things like this that make a BIG difference in a g-free house!!!! Enjoy!!

Okay, don’t be mad at me…I don’t like ice-cream (I know, I KNOW!) but my family does and my daughter is obsessed with the Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s ICE CREAM! It’s pink (adorable) and she said it’s one of the best ice creams she’s tried. She said it’s also really good with hot fudge!
Tracy says
I wish I had a Trader Joes near my house! Then again, it might be dangerous!

We do not have a Trader Joe’s near us, but we were in San Antonio a few weeks ago and my 15 year old daughter HAD to visit. We planned our visit and we are hooked! We will be in Houston next week and have already planned another visit. The selections and the service was great!!

I’ll be making the breakfast casserole stat! My family loves bread pudding and this is going to be a hit! Thanks!
Kayla Bruce says
Selfishly, I’m so happy your family went gluten free because now I know just what to buy! I’ve been gluten free since 2012, and I’ve been WAITING for brioche bread to make french toast. I’m so pumped!
Mix and Match Mama says
It is AMAZING!!!!!

Shay, I LOVE your blog and I tell people all of the time that they need to check out your recipes and tips! My daughter got married in January and she is constantly asking me for recipes that she enjoyed when she lived at home. Almost 100% of the time I tell her to look it up at Mix and Match Mama!!! This is probably a dumb suggestion, but when you post all of these yummy items, could you please just put a plain list at the bottom of the post so lazy people like me can copy and paste them to my grocery list! I want EVERYTHING you mention, but find myself going back and forth to my grocery list. I realized in 2020, it really is the small things that make life easier! I appreciate you so much and I hope your holidays redeem the year we have had and they are EXTRA sweet!!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Ohhhhhhh! Okay! Yes!!! I can do that!!! That’s a great idea!!!!!! Thank YOU!!

It’s just not in a great location, right?! 😉

My new fav Trader Joe’s lunch is the Riced Cauliflower Bowl. So yummy! I know it is vegan, but I can’t speak to whether or not it is g-free.
Patty Anderson says
My family loves their mini ice cream cones. They’re just right for a tiny after dinner treat. My 88-year-old mother calls them “crack.” I heard for the Christmas season they make them with peppermint ice cream but they sell out fast. The rest of my family love the chocolate chip or the chocolate ones, but my favorite is vanilla. My Mom said the pumpkin ones weren’t as good as the rest. Given my closest Trader Joe’s is 40 minutes away, I always take 2 coolers…one just for “crack.”
Izzy Jensen says
Wow!! My Trader Joe’s doesn’t have the gluten free brioche bread yet…. hoping they do soon!!?
Sue Highland says
I am not gluten free, but I do have friends who are. This has expanded my horizons when baking (I am the resident baker for everyone). I have made many gluten-free things (Trader’s gluten-free pumpkin bread mix, Kruetez gluten-free brownie mix, Trader’s gluten free Jojo’s for pie crusts, etc.) – I never tell anyone (except the gluten-free peeps) and EVERYONE eats it up (one time at work I had to hide the gluten-free brownies for the gluten-free people because the non-gluten-free people ate them all the time before). Another short-cut that I really like is Pamela’s baking mix – it comes in chocolate and vanilla. I made a double chocolate pound cake with that and I’m telling you it was to die for (and there are many recipes on Pamela’s Web site). As for feeling that shopping at Trader’s is an occasion, I am so on that! I LOVE shopping there. And, the flowers are affordable! Candles! Christmas gifts! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! LOL
Kelly Henderson says
TJ’s gorgonzola crackers with their spinach dip … you’ll never go back to another vessel to get your dip! So delicious.

Shay!
I don’t know how you do it, but you truly are our very own Trader Joe’s fairy. Your post came out the same day I had planned for a TJs run so it came in super handy. Thanks to you I bought the bibimbap bowl, mini panettone, and candy cane Joe Joes.
Thanks again for sharing your hauls, and if in the future you might onsider adding a Trader Joe’s tab to your website (similar to your Amazon faves one), that would be amazing 🙂
Tiff says
sorry, *consider! Pressed send too soon!
