Happy last Monday of the school year!
You guys, Thursday is our last day!!!!! #insertallthepraisehands
Today, I am sharing some new Trader Joe’s finds with you along with my favorite items to buy at there over the summer.
Some of them are seasonal items, some of them are there year around, some of them are produce…it’s just my typical shopping list when I shop in the summer time. I made a list, I saved it on my phone, and since I’m trying to make my life easier this summer, I thought I’d share in case you need your life to be a bit easier too.
I have already scouted out my nearest Trader Joe’s in Massachusetts and am excited to pop in at least once this summer to see what I can find. I hope today’s list makes your next shopping trip even easier and more delicious.
You can find my printable shopping list right here:

Print it, take it, shop for your household this summer!
What though have I been buying recently?
Here’s a little look at my last shopping trip…
Sheaffer told me about these individually wrapped pieces of salmon about a year ago, and I haven’t looked back. I love one for lunch along with a salad. So delish and easy to heat up…plus, they’re individually packaged, so it’s great for one!
Yes, yes! Your weekend needs these!
You guys, I’ve always wanted to try these chips, but I’ve never been there when they’ve been in stock. THEY’RE SO DELICIOUS! I can’t even really tell you what they taste like (just read the description), but they’re AMAZING!
We are obsessed with Trader Joe’s g-free muffins and always buy them when we shop, but this last time, they had a new flavor! My kids all voted and they unanimously agreed that the strawberry are their favorite.
Of course, we needed these.
I bought these for our charcuterie board but have been enjoying them on salads too. Speaking of which…
…also AMAZING on your charcuterie board! I love the spicy honey with a sharp cheese. Geez, I love it.
These are not really sweet at all. If you’re a true fan of cocoa and don’t want a sugary nut, these are for you.
I know, I know, I know, I mention this every year when it comes out, but it’s amazing, so I want to share it again.
One quick and simple Trader Joe’s recipe before we go…
my Buffalo Chicken Wraps!! These are super simple for both lunch or dinner!

Happy Trader Joe’s shopping, friends!

I still haven’t tried that dill pickle mustard!!
Sheaffer says
And have I told you to sprinkle the EBTB seasoning all over the salmon???? DELISH.
Mix and Match Mama says
You haven’t, but I will next time! I have two to heat up this week for my lunches!!

This list has me hungry and it’s not even 9 am, haha! 🙂 I would love to try those potato chips, I’ve never seen a bag that had those different kinds of chips mixed in. So cool!

So glad you tried the patio chips. They are my teen daughter’s FAVORITE thing ever. The S’mores candy is new, and I think it’s the best candy TJ’s has ever hard. It’s in an orange bag, and sells out FAST. But it’s the PERFECT combo of milk chocolate, baby marshmallows and crispy graham cracker pieces in a little cluster. I mean, these are amazing and you must seek them out!
I had never tried the Brazil nut products but I LOVE them so far! The body butter is kind of like bum bum cream? But a more subtle scent which I love.
As soon as Summer hits Massachusetts, I keep their Organic French Roast Cold Brew concentrate stocked up. It’s a blue label and SOOO good. I pour half a small glass of it with half a glass of Chobani vanilla oat milk to make it a little bit sweet.
Mix and Match Mama says
Thank you, thank you for the additional recs!!!

Hi Shay-I have a recipe for your german loving self that is GF My husband has been GF for 25 years so Im always looking for new GF recipes. He loves spaetzle but I havent had much luck with it using GF flour- so Ive been using Trader Joe’s GF egg fettucine in recipes rather than spaetzle. For example, its fantastic in my homemade chicken soup where I would nornally use spaetzle. I just cut the noodles into 2 inch strips before cooking. The grandkids love it too! You will love it like this-skice a package of smoked sausage into half circles. Brown in avacado oil and butter with a chopped onion. Season with creole seasoning – a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon and some pepper and a splash of GF soy sauce. Cut the fettucine into about 1 1/2 inch strips and boil according to package directions. Drain well but do not rinse and add to the browned sausage. Add a small jar of drained saurkraut and heat through until everything is browned. So delish!
Mix and Match Mama says
Viv, that is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!

I’m so jealous!! My kids get out so late this year!! Sooo ready for summer!
sandi says
Those muffins look delicious… but with only four in the package and four kids, they would get eaten while groceries are being put away. Does anyone else get a little irritated at that? Wait, that family pack of blackberries was for salads later today and it’s gone before groceries are even put away… Anytime I buy pineapple to make a pineapple salsa (for a topping over pork chops) I have to hide it or else it’s gone by the time I need it!
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes, yes! I couldn’t agree more, Sandi!
Ashley says
Have you had their lemon arugula salad mix? The most refreshing side salad in the summer!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have not! Adding that to my list! Thank you!
Gina Holmes says
I teach in Frisco, and our last day was Friday, so I’m already enjoying my summer! Shay, would you consider doing a video of you putting together a charcuterie board for a blog post? I’d love to see the process, not just the final product!
Mix and Match Mama says
I love this idea!! Yes, yes! Happy to do it!
Rachel says
Two things:
1. Vanilla bean creme fraiche – not sure if this is a new or seasonal item but a little spread of this on those strawberry muffins is DELICIOUS. Tastes like strawberries and cream 🙂
2. Blueberry fields cheese is seasonal and would be perfect on a summer cheese board!
Mix and Match Mama says
I need you to tell me more!! Is this in the refrigerated section by the dairy? Is it by the dips and cheeses? I need all of the details!! I’m also going to grab the cheese next time!! THANK YOU!
Rachel says
The creme fraiche is in the dairy section by the milks, butter, cream cheese, etc!
Mix and Match Mama says
THANK YOU!

Oh Shay, the first thing I thought of when I opened your post was how your closest TJs will soon be much further away. 🥺 The Hyannis TJs is nice and pretty big, albeit a ferry ride away. I hope you’re having too much fun on the island to miss it too much!! (And I totally get it, as I’m in Maine, and my closest TJs is about 2 hours away… we just do a big haul whenever we go every few months.) I’m headed to TJs this holiday weekend, and I’m keeping your recs in mind! Thank you!!

I just bought the TJ Brazilian Nut Body Butter and it’s an exact dupe for the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream…it smells heavenly!!! Also this time of year I love getting the Waldorf salad for lunch.
Nicole says
What is your go to salad with the salmon for lunch? Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
Our grocery store sells a wedge salad that I really love. I will either grab one of those (that’s what I’m doing today!) or I’ll add a TJ chopped salad (not all of it) with my salmon.
Nicole says
Yum!! I picked some up today! Do you thaw in water or the night before and how do you cook yours? Thanks so much!!
Nicole says
What’s your fave breakfast lately?
Mix and Match Mama says
We’ve been on a scrambled egg and turkey bacon kick lately.
Carolyn Bakalekos says
Try the jalapeno limeade — mix it with vodka! Yummy. It’s in a quart jar on the juice aisle — not refrigerated.
Arleen says
Just found you. Been dragging myself (truly a drag) thru ‘traderjoeslist’, which is the worst post for TJ’s. The girl is so lazy, talks too fast, slurs and spends no time showing item/pkg so you can look for it when you shop. In addition to talking about her underwear in the middle of what you need to know about TJ’s. I just found out more about TJ products reading your post than months of that one! SO GLAD I FOUND YOU. There are already half dozen items I cannot wait to buy and try!
Mix and Match Mama says
Awwwww! I’m so happy you found me too!
Lorie says
I love the pepper jelly that you shared with us in one of your first Trader Joe posts. They told me at my local TJ that it is a seasonal item now. Do you know what time of year it is in stock? Thanks for sharing your favorites!
Mix and Match Mama says
It is seasonal now (which doesn’t make sense to me!). It comes out each September!
Kacy M says
Every summer I look forward to the Ube ice cream and patio chips at Trader Joe’s!
Lynn says
Hi Shay~. I love your Trader Joe ideas. But, I wanted you to know that I ordered the blue dress you linked on Amazon last week..the one that comes in lots of colors and kind of has an embroidered top. I got lots of compliments. I just love it!
Mix and Match Mama says
I bet you looked adorable! That dress is really cute!!!
Jaimee Shaffer says
Try the spicy honey sauce on avocado toast with a litttle goat cheese and fresh cilantro for an amazing Tupelo Honey copycat recipe! We use Dave’s Killer 21 whole grain bread but I’m sure there’s a good g-free option, too!
Mix and Match Mama says
I had it on Sunday night with cheese, but on top of avocado toast?! Brilliant!
