It’s another Trader Joe’s lately!
Anyone else get giddy when they walk inside? I go about every week to 10 days and am never, ever disappointed when I leave. Here are a few new things we’ve tried, loved and are eating on repeat…
Have I shared this one before?! I’m not sure, but I get it all the time and it’s really delish!! I love it with their corn dippers. The perfect post-pool snack! Speaking of which…
…okay, this Cauliflower Jalapeño Dips is AMAZING! It’s creamy, it’s a little spicy but not really hot, it’s a great dip or spread on a wrap/sandwich. I’m a big fan!
Easy lunches to take to the pool…
…yup! Always easy for lunch! Love their salads!
Okay, this cheese is seasonal and a reader suggestion. Friends, it’s so good!! It’s a spicy bleu cheese. Clever, right?! Take bleu cheese…give it a kick and it’s even more delicious! It was the perfect addition to our charcuterie board!
From deviled eggs to chicken, corn on the cob, avocado toast and so much more…the perfect spice blend 😉 .
I bought these for me, but my kids drank them all! They taste like summer in a can. It’s coconut water…but fizzy 🙂 .
Always and forever. I add it to everything.
I bought this for Ashby and Madeley’s shower. It smells really nice and they can use it for bathing and washing their hair. Easy.
Another great lunch idea! I add the dressing to it (included inside), put the lid back on and shake. Easy, easy!
Trader Joe’s always has great seasonal soaps, lotions and scrubs. Right now, I’m totally digging this one…
…and this one too! They make my FAVORITE bath scrubs!! If you haven’t tried one of these or the lavender one, you’re missing out.
And it’s gluten-free 🙂 .
I’ve said this before, but Trader Joe’s does an amazing job with their pre-made soups! This is an easy lunch too! Most of the time, I’ll have a cup of this along with one of their wraps or pre-made salads.
So many of you told us to try these and we’re in love!!! It’s part plum, part cherry and all so delicious! My kids have already devoured this container!
Kensington is obsessed.
Take one of these and dip them in…
…the BEST hummus I’ve ever had in my entire life. That’s right…my entire life. This stuff is CRAZY good!
Um, clearly I like spicy and things that are pickled 🙂 .
We are mustard people over here! Both of these are great on burgers, dogs or as aiolis with Trader Joe’s fries (put them in your air fryer!!).
All three of these different frozen treats are the perfect post-swim snack or summertime dessert.
Ha! I love this popcorn!!! We’ve been adding this to our charcuterie board too!!
Okay, I bought this dried watermelon and it’s realllly good! It tastes like an old-school fruit roll-up. The only warning I will give is to make sure your kids with braces do not eat this as it’s super sticky and hard.
A cup of coffee and some of these in the afternoon are a perfect pick me up.
That’s my Trader Joe’s lately.
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN BUYING????
Today, I also am sharing three recipes where I used Trader Joe’s ingredients like…
…my Buffalo Chicken Wraps!! You can see all three HERE.

I lived in the States for a year when I was 16 and loooved Trader Joe’s. Unfortunately, we don’t have this store here in Germany. But I would eat anything you posted here, it all sounds so delicious!
Mackenzie says
I have found the food very similar to Aldi, just different packaging! Some items, like the frozen spinach dip, are clearly the same.
Elspeth says
All of these looks so fun and different and unique foods to add to your menu. I always get inspired with your Trader Joe’s finds! Thanks for sharing!

I’m curious, do you take all 4 kids when you grocery shop? I need to concentrate especially in Trader Joe’s and can’t imagine shopping in there with my kids
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t taken all four kids to do anything since February! Agh! Andrew was working from home when I went on Monday, so they were with him.
Christine R. says
Are your TJ’s limiting shoppers? I live in upstate NY and there are constant long lines to get into TJ’s due to limited ppl in the store at one time. I really really want a TJ haul for my two hungry teenagers!! Need to plan an early morning soon. 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
They are! There wasn’t a line when I got there on Monday, but typically, I’ve been waiting 5ish minutes or so. I feel like it moves pretty quickly.
Erika Slaughter says
What is that popcorn??? I need it STAT!!
Penny says
The Elote seasoning is delicious on popcorn!
Mix and Match Mama says
Popcorn!!! That’s a great idea!!
Ursula Everett says
Buy the tumeric shots next time you are there!
Abbey says
Frozen Key Lime pie. Easy and really good!
Mary says
just wondering where your white shirt was from in your last story?! and I wish we had trader Joe’s closer!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Athleta! It’s a short sleeved sweatshirt and I love it so much, I have two of them!!!
Jaime says
Have y’all tried the trader joe’s whole wheat honey pretzels? Also do you buy trader joe’s fresh gluten free pasta? Does it stay good for a while? Like 7-10 days? I go to TJ about once every 8 days. also Do you feel like your grocery bill has gone up since going gluten free? I feel like i’m always in sticker shock after seeing the price of some of these gluten free alternatives to our favorite foods?
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t tried the pretzels before but they sound amazing! We love the g-free fresh pasta. Read your label to confirm, but mine usually stays fresh at least two weeks. I actually feel like we buy less now that we shop g-free because my kids can’t just stick anything in the cart (or me either for that matter!) as I shop around.
Karah Stracener says
All of this looks so yummy and delicious. Unfortunately we don’t have a Trader Joes nearby. BOO! I keep saying I am going to just make a day trip to Houston to stock up but then COVID hit and I haven’t been able to go. I also need to try your grilled cheese recipe. yum yum.
Sheaffer Sims says
Adding dill pickle hummus to my list right now!
Karen Ward says
These type posts leave me soooo jealous! We do not have a TJ’s in Chattanooga and I am sad about it. I’d love to try that dill pickle hummus!!
Hilde B says
I have Celiac Disease as well and was thinking about making a trip to Trader Joe’s. I see that only 3 of the items are gluten free (taffy and cereal have the gluten free logo on it and the fruit would be naturally gluten free). That is very disappointing. The salad with couscous can not be gluten free, right? Couscous usually contains gluten. Do you feel comfortable having your daughter eat products that do not have the gluten free logo on it? Thanks in advance.
Mix and Match Mama says
Actually most of it is g-free! I just went through and counted and think only three things were not gluten-free. They will give you an up to date g-free list when you walk in the store to show you what’s gluten-free whether the package is labeled or not.
Lisa D says
Try “Hold The Cone” mini ice cream cones, they are the perfect small dessert. I love the frozen wild caught salmon at Trader’s. And I love their inexpensive flower bouquets. ?
Erin says
Oooh are the wraps and corn chowder gluten free? I have the hardest time with finding good GF lunch options.
Mix and Match Mama says
Some soups are! For the pool lunches, I have been grabbing some items that are not g-free just to simplify life a bit. Since it’s individually packed and we eat it not at home, I don’t have to worry about cross-contamination.
Jill says
The jealousy is real!!! I live in Canada and the closest Trader Joe’s (in Maine) is about 5 hours away. So it’s a trek. And just when I thought I couldn’t really be anymore jealous you found dill pickle hummus!!! I will continue to hope they open some stores in Canada!
Mix and Match Mama says
You be jealous of Trader Joe’s, I’ll be jealous you live in Canada and only five hours from Maine 😉 . Oh amazing is that?!
Laura says
Oh trader joes…the happiest grocery store on earth! Ha! But really, with covid, I love going there even if the line to get in takes a few minutes, because the employees are always helpful and friendly, wearing masks, and keeping the store clean and stocked. I just bought their GF baking mix, hoping to try it today for muffins! That corn chowder is amazing!
Have you ever had their soy chorizo? It comes like a longer sausage but can crumble easily, and it’s got a good spiciness to it. Also, my hub loves their jerk flavored plantain chips. They really have a kick to them!
Annnnd I like their high protein veggie burger. And their frozen french fries. And their spray hand sanitizer that smells delightful. One more-their flower gummies are my fave. They are soft, good flavors, and cute! Ok I need to stop. TJs is the best!! 🙂
Laura says
Just made GF muffin recipe on back of TJs GF flour mix, and it was meh 🙁
Brooke Richardson says
Well dang it Shay, I’ll be heading up to Trader Joe’s ASAP to get several of these items. lol!
Lisa C says
So many great finds! I can’t wait to try some of these 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing!
Ivana says
As fun as all your blog posts are… I wish all of them were a Trader Joe’s round-up 🙂 I love that place and I love seeing all the good stuff you get from there!
Mix and Match Mama says
Bahaha! Thank YOU!!! xo
Rachel says
So we are a die hard Montgomery’s or Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce family but TJ’s Sriracha and roasted garlic BBQ sauce is life changing!
Constance says
Saw in your story you havent had good GF brownies yet. Have you tried https://www.lovepuppiesbrownies.com/ ? (Not from trader joes though 😉 I had them at torchys tacos and my friend with Celiac disease loved it!
Justyna says
It’s not TJs but thought you’d family would love this! And it’s gluten free!

Mix and Match Mama says
Thank you so much!!!!!
Justyna says
It’s the healthy version of Nutella! Enjoy 🙂
Jessica says
Our Trader Joe’s has the cutest candle trio right now. Strawberry Basil, Watermelon Mint and Pineapple Cilantro. I love their seasonal candles! My favorite is the Mango Tangerine, which smells very similar to my favorite Anthropologie candle. TJ’s also has some yummy fall scents that I am sure you would love! 😉 Also recently purchased TJ’s dark chocolate covered honey grahams with sea salt. So good! My oldest daughter and I actually hid them so the boys in our house wouldn’t gobble them up!
Anna says
For a frozen treat, you have to try their Mango and Cream bars – and I just checked my box & they are labeled gluten free. Our TJ’s in Upstate NY is doing an amazing job staying well stocked & safe as can be. Love these posts – thank you!
Jennifer says
Do you still have a costco membership? It’s been a while since I’ve seen a costco haul!
Mix and Match Mama says
I do but honestly, I haven’t been in FOREVER! I’m not sure I’ve been since January???
Jenny says
I can’t unsee that they misspelled the word fiery on the blue cheese, lol! ??♀️? That salad with couscous and basil dressing is one of my faves and my pantry is always stocked with the mustard aioli, so good!
Mix and Match Mama says
And now, you’ve ruined that cheese. Bahaha! Kidding! 😉 I could eat that aoili with a spoon.
Yvonne C says
I just tried the Cubano Seasoned Wrap and it was SOOO GOOOD! The check out guy told me to heat it up a bit and it was delish!
Melissa says
I went to Trader Joe’s recently – it’s about a 45 minute drive, so it doesn’t happen often. If I had one closer, I’d go all the time! I was so impressed with how they were handling the shopping experience during this strange time we live in.
I bought the Strawberry Lemon scrub, but I didn’t see that lotion. I will look for it next time. Those mustards look good too. I saw them, but I just can’t put one more mustard variety in my fridge! LOL
My friend made a special stop on a recent roadtrip to pick up some sparkling watermelon juice cans. I’m going to have to get some of those on my next visit too!
Thanks for sharing! You always find some good stuff 🙂
Jaime says
Do you ever shop at whole foods? I’d so what do you buy?
Mix and Match Mama says
I don’t! We don’t have one here in McKinney, so I don’t shop there.
Kasi says
Ha we devoured those cherry plums too and my 11 year old was also all about that taffy. Now I want to go back and get the dill pickle hummus! I drive 30 mins each way to go to TJs every couple of weeks. It is our favorite!!!
Karen says
I love their beef tamales in the freezer foods, but they have apparently discontinued them! I am covers upset. I do not care for the chicken or corn ones, which is all they have.
Mary says
These posts are some of my favorites! You have me hooked on their Coffee brownie Ice cream sandwiches after you posted them. I might have bought 4 boxes my last trip to TJs (and covered them up in my cart with a bag of salad mix so it wouldn’t look so bad) ?
Mix and Match Mama says
Yay!!!! We love those too!! Smith just had one last night!
Pamela says
Oh my stars! Have you ever tried their Danish Kringle’s? They normally have them around Mother’s Day, Christmas, and maybe Easter. They get them in raspberry, almond, and pecan, out here in Arizona. I just wish that they had them all of the time! If you order them from the actual bakery in Racine Wisconsin, they are $21.50. If you are lucky enough to get them at Trader Joe’s, they are around $7.95! You can freeze them, too! Oh Heavens, they are simply delicious. Ahhh.
Tiff says
How did I not know that Trader Joe’s has body scrubs? Shay, you are a skin saver!
Love all your TJ posts. Please keep em coming!
Mix and Match Mama says
They are reallllllly nice body scrubs too!!! It’s all I use!
Anna says
Thank you for this! I always love your TJ posts! Can’t wait to go shopping next month when we move stateside!
