Hello, friends!
It’s Monday morning and my kids are home from school in honor of it being Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so I thought I better make this post short and sweet before they’re all up here in my face asking me if they can have a snack. Or glass of water. Or what time it is. You know…all of those questions. 😉
As I scrolled through my inbox and DMs last week, I saw this question over and over again, “What did you tell us you used to make your hair wavy?”.
Please see Exhibits A-E from last week…
Awwwwww! Yes, yes, yes!
Last Sunday afternoon, I did a quick IG Story about my easy peasy waves and since I wore them all week, many of you wanted me to share the scoop again.
So, here it is…
…this is it. No curling iron. No hair dryer. My favorite stylist and friend in the world told me to do this, so I did it and LOVE it! Now, it’s probably more “summer hair” than “winter hair”, but in my world, “easy hair” is year around hair.
Either at night or in the morning (just whenever I shower and wash my hair), I get out, brush it out my hair and then apply a quarter-ish size amount of the Beach Texturiser in my hair and scrunch it up starting with the roots. Spoiler alert: it smells amazing…like a Hawaiian vacation. So, I scrunch it up a bit and then after that, I spray all over a bit of the Texture Spray and then allow my hair to air dry. That’s it. If I’m going to have Day Two hair (which I almost always do!), then I just add a bit more of the Texture Spray to my hair and scrunch it a bit and go.
Easy. As. That.
If you missed my SOFT WAVES TUTORIAL with steps and a video (this version does include a curling iron!), you can see that post HERE!
So, that’s all.
I’m off.
I just wanted to pop in, say hi, share my easy waves and Meal Planning Monday and then head to hang with my kids.
Here’s wishing you a wonderful (easy beachy wave) Monday! I hope we all take time to really stop and reflect about why we honor this day. xx

What type of hair texture do you have? I’m wondering if you need wavy hair for this product.
Mix and Match Mama says
My hair doesn’t straighten very well…it wants to go wavy. I would call it “straight her that desperately wants to be wavy”. Ha!
Sheaffer Sims says
I’m going to have to try this!

Do you know if there are smaller sizes in these products? Would love to test them before purchasing the large. Thanks for sharing
Alisa says
Is your hair thinner or thicker? I have thicker hair and would like to try it, but am worried my hair is too heavy..
Mix and Match Mama says
My hair is quite thick!!
BF says
I was gonna ask the same thing! Wondering if you already have naturally wavy hair to begin with! I love this idea, will have to try!
Mix and Match Mama says
I would say “kind of”!
Katherine Darlington says
Does you hair have natural
Texture/thickness/curl to it or is it poker straight? I’m wondering if this works on poker straight hair.
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s very thick…and kind of torn. It does not want to be straight. It fights it. That being said, it’s not super wavy. It has a hard time making up its mind. 😉

Love the waves! Did you buy the products off Amazon or at a salon? I am always wary of buying beauty products from Amazon because there are so many fakes out there, but not sure where else to get it. Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
I bought them directly from my stylist. It’s hard to find them online!
