Friday Favorites {05.13.22}

Happy happy Friday, friends!  Today, I’m partnering with Nordstrom and ShopStyle and wrapping up my week with a little summer casual and a little summer dress up.  Next week, I’ll talk a little summer beauty too 😉 !

You guys, one week from today is our last day of SCHOOL!

Today, Andrew and I are taking the day off to enjoy a golf tournament in town with some friends, but as always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika are sharing my favorite things from the week before I head into the weekend.  Sending you lots of love! xx

‘Tis that time of the year when we need a dress.

Whether it’s a vacation, a graduation, a Sunday brunch, a wedding…there are just so many reasons to need a dress over these next few months, so I was pumped when I found three that I love from Nordstrom just in time for the season!

A long maxi dress with a slit?  Yes, please!  I love the floral print and how easily this dress moves.  Plus, it’s so comfortable too!  I paired all three dresses with my sandals from last summer that I still love and wear all the time.  I bought them in clear, but they come in other colors too and right now, some select colors are even on sale!

Speaking of sale, this dress HERE is on sale right now too!  The print I bought is already sold out, but there are other super cute prints remaining.  Both of these dresses I bought run TTS.  I bought them all in xs (and I’m 5’3″).  See my cute sandals?!  I love them!

Typically, I wouldn’t say that red is my color, but I just think this red dress here is super stunning!  If you look online, you can see the back of it too which is super gorgeous.  For this dress, I used a bra similar to this bra HERE underneath instead of my normal/favorite/can’t live without it strapless bra that I typically wear and love (I wore it in the first two pics!).  I bought this dress in a small.

This time around, I thought I’d show you my summer casual uniform including three great white tees and three pairs of shorts!

Is there anything more simple and classic than a white tee and shorts?

This super soft v-neck comes in other color combinations, but my heart absolutely loved the white version!  Paired with my favorite denim shorts FOUR YEARS AND RUNNING, and I’m off for summer fun.  Right now, my favorite denim shorts are currently 30% off too!

How cute is my hat?!  I have also pretty much worn these light little hoops every day this month (I’m wearing them above in the dresses pics too!).  Add an initial necklace and my slippers, and this is my uniform.

Oh hey hat!  Do you see what’s on the side 😉 ?!  Nordstrom has a HUGE selection of sports team hats!

This tee needs no introduction as you’ve already seen me wear it a bazillion times…

…oh how I love this puff sleeve tee.  Remember in the fall when I wore it ON REPEAT?!

I bought both the black and the white last summer and have just LOVED the heck out of them both, but now, it comes in NINE DIFFERENT COLOR OPTIONS for summer!!

This time though, I’m pairing my cute white tee with…

…these shorts 🙂 .  Now, I love them because you can wear them a little longer or…

…roll them too.  Several of you have asked more shorts with a little more length, and I love that these can be worn both ways!  My platform sandals are HERE.  They come in this wash and then also in a darker wash as well!  Kut from the Kloth shorts are always great because they are the perfect mid-rise (not too high, never too low) and have just the right amount of stretch to make them comfy but not stretch out as you wear them.  I’ve purchased many pairs over the years and always love them!

…how many times have I talked about this tee right here?!  It just always works.  My slippers always work too 🙂 .

Three white tees with shorts for your casual summer!  I have one bonus outfit for you today too…

How cute is this top?!  I am in love!!  This is more like a blouse-y top than a t-shirt.  It’s so soft, the sleeves are so cute and it comes in so many other colors.  I love that it can go in both the washer and dryer and just feels a bit elevated for your normal summer day.  My shorts are Kut from the Kloth last season and my flip flops…

…are still one of my new favorite finds.  They soles are cushy, so they’re extra comfy to wear while also being oh so cute.  They come in a variety of colors too!

All the love for this t-shirt.  We had state testing this week, and she was super nervous beforehand.  I bought her this shirt last year, but she pulled it back out to wear again this week.  She is all of those things.  All of them.  I love her so much!
