Hey there, Thursday 🙂 .
Here’s hoping your week is going very well, friends! We’re cruising right along over here. You know how it is…lots of summer fun with summer sports/camps/therapies/and such sprinkled in. Smith had a tooth pulled this week, Kensington had cheer camp, Ashby had a swim meet, I had two doctors appointments (why did I schedule them for the summertime?! what is wrong with me?!)…it’s just that fun season where I’m covered in SPF from head to toe every day and wearing a swimsuit at my desk. I wouldn’t trade it for the world ;).
Here’s a little look at life lately…
A missing tooth and a big brother. The life of a seven year old 🙂 .
We have recently been visiting Mary’s Mountain Cookies on our town square and ARE OBSESSED! You guys, not only is everything baked in house daily, but they start their day by baking g-free cookies before anything else to eliminate the chance of contamination. Every single cookie we have tried has been DELICIOUS! If you’re in McKinney, go by and eat one. Stat!
Rainy summer afternoons means a trip to the movies for the five of us.
Crop top, shorty shorts and a coffee…this is Madeley. Ha! She is such a CHARACTER!
The weather has been really nice recently, so the girls have enjoyed extra time outside in our neighborhood with friends!
Smith’s mission was to get Mades riding a bike this summer without training wheels…
…it took him 15 minutes 😉 .
Watching TV on the patio with…my dog. Ha! Andrew cracks up at how much these dogs enjoy my company.
I accidentally had a lovely Saturday morning. The weather was beautiful, the magazine was lovely and my sweet hubby made me one of his Pepper Jelly Breakfast Sandwiches.
Our little community has an annual party by the water every Memorial Day weekend. This was the only picture I took…how I love me some Meagan!
It was a weekend of family time…and we soaked every minute of it up!
This girl competed in her very first swim meet! You guys! I could cry. She was SUCH a rock star! Andrew and I could not be more proud of Miss Ashby!
And that’s a little life lately. I’ll see you tomorrow! xx

Can you share where you found swim suits for Kensington this year? I also have a young teen girl and want to find something appropriate and cute.

Athleta! She’s wearing regular Athleta sizing (not Athleta Girl).

Ashby is such an inspiration and she tugs at my heart every single time you post about her. I think God brought her in to your lives for all is us! She is truly a gift.
