Today’s recipe is another cocktail! When I sat down to think about what recipes I wanted to make this year, I thought I should round out my Christmas collection with a few more drinks since I have approximately 4 million holiday food recipes (you can see them all HERE).
In the past, for Christmas, I’ve shared my CRANBERRY LIME COCKTAIL, CRANBERRY MIMOSAS, MERRY CHERRY MULES, GROWN UP HOT CHOCOLATE, and VIXEN’S CRANBERRY VODKA COCKTAIL. Today, we have a new one to share. I told Andrew that I wanted a cocktail that used Jameson Whiskey (our personal fave) but didn’t taste “too strong or too much like whiskey”. Plus, I wanted one that didn’t contain berries for those of you with berry allergies. After a lot of trial and error, we made our Killarney Cocktail 🙂 .
If you love Irish whiskey, you’ll love it. If you don’t think you love Irish whiskey, I still think you’ll love it. We, of course, named it after one of our favorite Christmas songs (you can find it on my playlist HERE), and it always makes us think of that time…
…we took our four young kids to the Jameson factory in Ireland where we all learned how Irish whiskey is made. Ha!
Enjoy!! xo

Fun!! I’m going to try it!! What’s your go to order from a pub style restaurant that serves wraps, salads, burgers and sandwiches?
Mix and Match Mama says
For dinner? Probably a burger with a side salad and then a handful of Andrew’s fries 🙂 .

Yay! Ireland is our favorite vacation destination, and my husband and dad are both big fans of Irish whiskey, so I can’t wait to give this a try. (I’m not a huge fan, but I am a big fan of cocktails in general and of apple cider, so this sounds like it might be a winner all-around…) 🙂 I really appreciate all of your festive content!

Love this!!! Makes me homesick for Ireland. You should listen to the song, Christmas in Killarney, by Rend Collective.

Not related to this cocktail, but another way to enjoy “grownup” hot chocolate along with the Irish theme is to add Bailey’s Irish cream. It is delicious! It’s even better from a thermos when your at an outside event on a cold night. Thanks for sharing your tecipes!
