Happy Wednesday, friends!
In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, I thought I’d share some of my favorite mamas’ recipes with you! All of these recipes are easy, super delicious and perfect for your holiday weekend or your upcoming summer.
From my family to yours, wishing you a wonderful (almost!) Mother’s Day!
What is the most popular summer recipe on my blog about ten years running?! My mom’s CORN SALAD! This recipe is crazy simple and super delish. I also love it because you make it in advance which is so helpful when hosting a backyard party or when you’re bringing something potluck. Make it, take it, everyone will love it!
Speaking of summer party recipes, I cannot tell you the last time we hosted a summer get together where I didn’t make my mother-in-law’s Pepperoni & Bell Pepper Pasta Salad! Not only is this recipe amazing for hosting, but this is one we make all the time for a delicious lunch or simple supper. This is very family-friendly, can be made in advance, gets better the longer you keep it in the fridge and perfect for taking with you should you need to take a dish to a get together. You will love this recipe too!
If you need a simple breakfast recipe this weekend, my mother-in-law’s Sausage Breakfast Casserole is it! I have made this breakfast casserole more than any other breakfast item. I love to make this the night before and then bake it and serve the next morning. It’s hearty, it’s filling, it’s the perfect breakfast or even dinner recipe. You will love it!
Both moms love to make stew! If the weather is still a bit chilly where you are, they each have their own spin on a classic…
…growing up, my mom always served a Ground Beef Stew while Andrew’s mom…
…makes the most delicious traditional stew. Both are winners!
My Mom’s Slow Cooker Jambalaya is a put it in and forget about it fave. If you have a crazy May and need something simple to serve for supper, here you go!
And finally, for dessert…
…my Grandmother’s Trifle. When I close my eyes and think of summer desserts, this one here is one of two that I always think of. My grandmother is famous for this delicious trifle recipe and…
…her Strawberry Banana Pie! You need to seriously make both!
Delicious recipes from amazing women.
I hope you try some of them to honor and celebrate the favorite ladies in your life! xx

The trifle with vanilla wafers made me think of my great grandmother’s banana pudding. Hmmm, so good! Between that and her from scratch biscuits, we had some good family dinners after church!
I love a good stew recipe enough to make them year round despite the weather. Both of these will go in my meal rotation over the next month.

Shay, if you see this, which of the chili recipes is the one that is Andrew’s favorite (and maybe your mom’s recipe)? I did look, but didn’t find it in the chili posts in my quick search. Maybe it’s the brisket one?
