Trader Joe’s January Haul

…MY TRADER JOE’S JANUARY HAUL!

Because who doesn’t love walking into cozy, wintery Trader Joe’s?!

Mades and I went last week, and she said “it’s so happy in here”.  Even in the middle of January, Trader Joe’s knows how to bring the happiness. 🙂

Here are a few of the finds I brought home on my last trip outside of “the norm” (ground beef, onions, avocados, lemons, tomato paste, milk, eggs, etc.)…

I drink my coffee black, but the three girls in my house love making coffee or hot tea and adding creamer.  I found these two in refrigerator section and was so intrigued, that I tried them both last week in two of my afternoon coffees.  I really, really enjoyed them.  Sometimes, coffee creamer can taste “fake”, you know?  These two tasted really fresh and more like cream and less like sugar.  I especially enjoyed my splash of the spiced vanilla.

Because…

…YES!  Heart shaped ravioli?!  SIGN ME UP!

Speaking of which…

…so cute, right?!  When I was checking out, the person helping me told me I should have grabbed multiple bags because this is going to sell out quickly.  How cute would it be as a Valentine’s Day gift to girlfriends or neighbors or teachers?  Adorable!

This tin was new, and I expected it to be really sweet, but honestly, it wasn’t…which made it an easy addition for my charcuterie board (not too sugary).

My dad calls them my “shay-cuterie boards” and these were really yummy paired with the Trader Joe’s apricot stilton I picked up as well.

Random but…I always like keeping a few glass bottles of sparkling water in the fridge.  I enjoy them sometimes my weekday lunches (makes it feel a bit more special) plus, it’s just good to have them on hand for cocktails too.

Because it’s January 🙂 .

Trader Joe’s had LOADS of Valentine’s Day treats and goodies in store.  I grabbed two bags of these to add to a dish on my bar cart…

…plus, I picked up a box of these for our house and a box of…

…these too.  Both are really delicious!

I can’t go to Trader Joe’s now without buying a bottle of…

…Two Buck Chuck!

I know that I’ve mentioned this before, but my new favorite podcast is Acquired, and after listening to their episode on Trader Joe’s, it made me a SUPER fan.  I highly recommend it if you love shopping at Trader Joe’s too.  You’ll rethink everything (in a great way!) once you listen…but you’ll especially rethink their Charles Shaw wines.

Mades wanted to try these French Chocolate Chip Milk Rolls for breakfast.  She has been heating them up and having them alongside a frozen sausage ball (because at my house, we always have sausage balls in the freezer!).

And finally…

…all three girls like when I bring home a box of the macarons (from the freezer section).  I’ll stick two in their lunchboxes, and they always think it’s such a treat.
