Happy happy Saturday, friends!
I hope you were able to sleep in a bit. I hope you’re in no hurry to leave your house this morning. I hope you have coffee, a candle, a cozy blanket and a great Christmas playlist going. Don’t forget, if you need a bit more Saturday happiness, hop over and check out my PINTEREST account too! It’s fa la la la fabulous right now 🙂 .
In the meantime, thanks for spending a few Saturday minutes with me. It’s a bonus dose of Christmas happiness! xx
On Thursday, my little girls were going on and on in the car about how much they love Taylor Swift and hope to see the new Eras movie. They were just chatting away about it in the backseat, so after I dropped them off, I checked movie times online and threw our whole after school “to do” list out the window. After school, I surprised them…
…and the three of us ate our weight in movie theater junk food and sang our hearts out for three solid hours. Now that I have two teens (who both had plans that night!), I really, really, really am trying to be extra intentional about soaking up these “little kid” moments.
After yesterday’s post, this will not surprise you AT ALL.
When my parents came over before we left for Prague, we were chatting about my Christmas decorations (it was the first time they’d seen them up this season), and I told my mom if she wanted a project, she could help me find new garland for my stairs as my former garland was in terrible condition. A: My mom loves a project. B: My mom only knows how to give 100% to any project.
Thus, when I came home, I laughed out loud because
Um, she didn’t just find me garland…she went out and found beautiful garland and then added the lights, bows, ribbon, ornaments and hung it herself. Bless her.
Didn’t she do an amazing job?! I was floored by how gorgeous it looked!
Listen, if you casually give my mom a home project, you will get results. BIG RESULTS.
I am SO THRILLED with it!!!
Now, what should I ask her to do next? 😉
I headed out for a doctor’s appointment and a few errands this week and was oh so cozy in MY SHERPA 🙂 .
It’s cozy, it’s cute, it layers and it works for both being active and being out and about.
Yesterday, I was asked about the Christmas popcorn in my vase. You guys! It’s from one of my FAVORITE McKinney shops…
Mom and Popcorn is truly one of our favorite places to visit on our town square.
This candy, fudge and popcorn shop is truly a gem that my family visits every week (no lie!). It’s always seasonal, very festive and super delicious.
I love to buy their tins as holiday gifts (great for neighbors, co-workers, teachers…everyone!), individual bags for party favors, they’re wonderful for entertaining and just plain perfect for enjoying while watching your favorite Christmas movie. You can order online or come visit them right here in McKinney!
There are so many great sales this Saturday!
Here are just a few of my faves…
Check out MY FALL BASICS…
…make sure you check out these MERRY LITTLE DEALS too!
It was DOUBLE the fun for this sweet family…
…they combined a European cruise with a trip to Paris!
Twice the vacation in one trip!
Whether you’re looking for a cruise or a land vacation or a combination, we have you covered! Reach out to our travel agency today for more information!
Anyone else really prefer this animated version of The Grinch over all other Grinch movies? I just love every single thing about it…and it makes the perfect work companion 🙂 .
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I didn’t have a new Advent Bible study for 2023, but you ladies came to my rescue! I bought the She Reads Truth Advent study for this year and am oh so excited to dive in next month. I’ve flipped through it already, and it looks really, really special. If you need an Advent too, I already recommend!
Okay, friends! We’re off to enjoy our weekend! I hope you have a fabulous Saturday and Sunday. I will be back here on Monday to see you again. Until then, sending you so much love. xx
