Happy happy FRIDAY, friends!
Can I be honest with you about something?
I still haven’t unpacked my suitcase from our vacation.
I know.
I’m embarrassed.
We got home so late on Monday night and then hit the ground running on Tuesday morning and well, here we are. I have done all of my laundry from the trip (because it was all in one garbage bag inside of said suitcase) and made sure the four kids unpacked their suitcases and did their laundry…but my clean laundry and allll the little things that I had in my suitcase are still in a pile.
Needless to say, if you’re looking for me tomorrow, I’ll be unpacking.
Re-entry is hard, y’all. It’s hard.
It’s exhausting for everyone 😉 .
Okay, as always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika and sharing this week’s FAVORITE THINGS!
Happy weekend! xx
You guys…
…how cute is MY TENNIS SKIRT?! I was truly, truly blown away by the quality when it arrived. I loved it so much that I bought it in a second color, and I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get it in a third. You know how much I love wearing these skirts all spring, summer and into fall for easy outfits that are “sporty” enough for errands, walking the dog, going to my kids’ sporting events but way more pulled together than shorts. THIS SKIRT has pockets to boot which just makes my heart even happier.
See? It’s a tennis skirt! The length is great, it runs TTS (I bought mine in XS), and it comes in 10 DIFFERENT COLORS!
So cute in white too! LOVE, LOVE!
If you’re also into tennis skirts, don’t forget…
I have this skirt in THREE colors…
…and wear them on REPEAT all spring and summer. This particular skirt comes in OVER THIRTY COLORS!
And speaking of colors…
…your friendly reminder that these “dupe” SHORTS are amazing!
They come in so many fun colors (and neutrals!), have a nice high waist, are lined…I love them!
Don’t forget…
…Kensington’s favorite TENNIS SKIRT is on sale right now!
Did you notice in my first pic…
…my ADORABLE SANDALS?!
You guys, they have ONLY Five Star Reviews, are under $30 and have memory foam, so they’re COMFY!
CUTE and COMFY!
Don’t take just my word, read the reviews. These are super cute and comfortable and priced so well 🙂 .
A big, big FAVE this week!
Another FAVE this week has been seeing all of the pics from our clients from their own Spring Break travels.
Not only did so many of our clients travel last week but…
…we did too!!!
My team always takes Spring Break off to give us all time to spend with our families and travel too!
I was in the Caribbean…
…Clare was in Mexico…
…Erika was in Paris…
…Jane went to Disney on her family’s break…
…and Shanna’s family was in Mexico too.
We love to travel which is why WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!! If you want to go somewhere this year (or in 2026!), let us know! All you need to do is FILL OUT THIS INQUIRY, and we will be in touch with more information. From Disney to Universal, cruises (ocean and river!), tropical, Europe, exotic…we do it all 🙂 .
This next FAVE is a no brainer, but I’m sharing it because it was really great for us this week.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m always trying to get more protein into my family’s diet and that my family enjoys making anything that involves…
…our PANINI PRESS 🙂 . Seriously, my kids can be as lazy as lazy can be, but they will make themselves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks if it means they can pull out the panini press. I have mentioned this many, many times and this week was the perfect example. I bought croissants from our bakery, ham and cheddar and bam, they’re making breakfast sandwiches.
As easy as that 🙂 .
My kids load their paninis with anything and everything. It really is one of their favorite ways to be creative in the kitchen. Whether you make them or your kids, if you don’t have a PANINI PRESS, I highly recommend mine. It’s 46% off right now too!
If you’re looking for panini recipes, I have so many HERE!
Books, books, this week has been about BOOKS!
First up…
…we had BOOK CLUB on Tuesday…
…I shared why I LOVE Die With Zero on Wednesday…
…and our MARCH BOOK CLUB on Thursday!
A week with three book posts is always going to be a favorite of mine.
I specifically saved this for our flight to St. Thomas, and friends, I had alllllll the emotions…
…I literally cried, CRIED my eyes out two different times and laughed out loud more times than I can count.
For over twenty years, I have said that Bridget Joneses’ Diary is my very favorite movie of all time, and this fourth installment (based on the book written many years ago) was the perfect ending to her story. I just loved it so much. I LOVED IT! I love all four Bridget movies, but this one here touched my heart the most. I know this is a fictional story, but dang, I feel like I’ve lived all of these years with Bridget, so this movie in particular was a wonderful ending for me too.
And finally this Friday, I’m sharing 22 SIMPLE SPRING SUPPERS!
Who doesn’t want something easy, light and fresh for dinner right now?! I have your recipes HERE.
That wraps up this week’s Friday Faves! I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful weekend! I will see you on Monday! xx

I was in Aruba for a week and arrived home Monday. My suitcase is also still full and I ALWAYS unpack it immediately.
Man, if you haven’t been to Aruba, you need to go. I have a solid resort recommendation.
Mix and Match Mama says
I FEEL SO SEEN RIGHT NOW. Thank you for sharing, Erin!! I haven’t been to Aruba since college. We totally need to visit!!

Aruba is our favorite island!! And we adopted our pup from Aruba. She flew Jet Blue and we picked her up at JFK. We have our own little island girl who is obsessed with the sun, but unfortunately lives in NJ and freezes half the year, haha.
Andrea says
We are going to Aruba, curious as to what resort you would recommend!! Thanks!
Sheaffer says

Kimber says
I grew up doing Spring Break, Summer, and Fall Break in Destin and 30A (even before it was a thing – we are talking early 90s to present – even got married in Seaside!) but my Mom was ADAMANT about unpacking our suitcases, hanging up clothes, putting things in dressers for the week or two. She would do all our laundry in our condo or beach house just so we wouldn’t have dirty clothes when we got back and I ALWAYS parked my suitcase in front of my armoire with the top open and just picked through it until like, one rogue shirt and a bikini was left. Haha. I am almost 40 and still do the same thing when I come home from even a weekend trip. Old habits die hard!
Amy Androff says
Happy Unpacking!
I just listened to Mel Robbins latest episode
The Body Reset. I learned a lot!
Erika Slaughter says
It’s TENNIS SKIRT SEASON!! Which also means SUNLESS TANNER season for me. hahaha! LOVE all your skirts! And probably need to add a few new colors to my line up!

Shay, I can’t get the link for the Panini press to go through. Is anyone else having this problem?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s from Wayfair, Marla. It’s working for me, but I just emailed it to you as well. So happy to help! xx
Sandra Roberts says
I love this very springy post! AndI immediately noticed the sandals in the first picture and will be ordering those for our spring break trip. I’m in S Georgia and have one more week before our break! Happy Weekend!
Nicole says
Shay! I just listened to the podcast that promotes the book, and oh my word. SO good! 🙌🏻 I already sent it to everyone I know and also ordered the book! Thanks for sharing and for always encouraging me to optimize and enjoy my own life too!
Julie Harris says
I loved Bridget Jones too!! I didn’t particularly love “Mad About the Boy” in book form as much as the others, so my expectations were not high. I laughed, cried, and was sad it was over.
Christi McAnally says
Today’s Target Circle Deal is 40% off shoes! So your sandals would be an even bigger steal.
Stacey says
Hey Shay! We just got back from a mix and match trip to BARBADOS! Clare planned an amazing trip for us-thank you!! And yes re-entry after a week of island vibes is tough!!
Panini press for the win! My whole family uses It regularly-So easy!! It’s my favorite gift to give!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Yay!!! Thank YOU so so much for allowing us to send you on your vacation. We are so very grateful! xx
Margaret says
I have watched the latest Bridget Jones movie three times already, and I was wondering why you have not mentioned it yet. I loved it SO MUCH, and I think it might be as great as the first movie. I cried so hard that my dog gave me a dirty look and left the room. The reindeer jumper, Billy’s performance, the owl. It was all so good.
Mix and Match Mama says
So so so good!!! It just melts my heart now every single time I watch it.
