Happy HALLOWEEN!
You guys, I’m G-I-D-D-Y! You know I LOVE me some Halloween.
This year is a little different…we have two varsity football games happening at two different stadiums, BUT we are still going to make our holiday spooktacular.

Side note: I think Friday is the BEST day of the week to have Halloween. My kids are doing fun things at school, we can stay up late and not have to get up early for church the next day. Halloween just feels like a Friday to me 🙂 .

Our inflatable just makes me SO DARN HAPPY!
Clearly, Halloween is fully loaded at our house today!
The weather (finally!) changed around here just in time for Halloween week!
We have watched so many movies (Andrew says no more Hocus Pocus until next year…he’s Hocus Pocus-ed out!), carved jack-o-lanterns…
…worked on our Trader Joe’s Halloween gingerbread house (with Casper on in the background!)…
…turned on all the fireplaces…
…and dressed up for school. It was dress up as a character from a book day, and our Bluey had the best time 🙂 .
Thanks to the cooler weather, I was able to pull out MY HALF ZIPPER FLEECE SHERPA VEST for #allthethings…
THIS VEST comes in several other color combos, but this one spoke to my heart. I loved the deep pockets. I kept my phone in there all day as I walked dogs, drove carpool, worked, made dinner, etc.
I was also able to wear…
…THIS SHERPA FLEECE JACKET one day too. It also comes in many other colors…but you know me and green 🙂 .

This week, I was listening to an episode of The Drive podcast with Dr. Peter Attia, and in his own episode, he mentioned that his favorite podcast is Acquired. Well, I was certainly intrigued, so I went to see what it was about and this was their latest episode…
…well then I was REALLY intrigued, so I started listening. I snapped this photo before I finished the episode because it did not take long for me to LOVE IT. I’ve since finished and wow, I will certainly be listening to others, but this one here, WOW, I really loved it. I am going to recommend this particular episode to anyone who loves Trader Joe’s or anyone who is a wine enthusiast or anyone who owns (or wants to own) a business.
The three hours (which took me a few days to complete) was WELL WORTH my time. Not only was it fascinating (I will never shop at Trader Joe’s the same way again!), but it was so inspiring and encouraging to me, a small business owner.

I am certainly not too proud to say that my business is built on the loyalty of this audience right here. All of these ladies (and me!) have their jobs and are able to work while also being with their kiddos because of the wonderful community that YOU ARE HERE. I would not have the agency I have today if it weren’t for you. Full stop. End of sentence.
I love what I get to do each day. I am incredibly grateful to SO MANY of you who allow us to work on your vacations. We are honored. If you are thinking about traveling sometime at the end of this year or in 2026/2027, we would love to connect with you.
