Happy THURSDAY, friends!
Goodness, it has been and will continue to be a BIG week at the Shull’s house.
First up…
…our sweet Kensington tried out and made cheerleader for the final time.
Agh, all the feelings.
Wasn’t it just yesterday…
…that she participated in her first sporting event?! This was four year old Kensington at indoor soccer standing at the glass staring at me because she wanted to come off the field. Bahahaha!
After YEARS of doing “all the things” (soccer, gymnastics, ballet, tap, jazz, volleyball, basketball, track), she landed on cheer and has loved it.
I just cannot believe that we have one kid “done” with trying out for sports.
It went by fast, y’all.
Really, really fast.
Speaking of fast…
…tomorrow, we celebrate 22 years of marriage!
It is CRAZY to me that these two 22 year olds have been married 22 years.
I am sharing my THURSDAY FAVES today because tomorrow, I’m going to celebrate my anniversary and go ahead and kick off my Spring Break with a day off 🙂 .
Before I get to that though, let me recap our week really fast in case you missed anything…
On Monday, I shared MEAL PLANNING MONDAY along with THINGS WE DON’T AGREE ON IN OUR MARRIAGE.
On Tuesday, it was all about my NEW CARRY ON LUGGAGE and my TRADER JOE’S MARCH HAUL!
On Wednesday, we looked at OUR FAVORITE FAMILY VACATIONS and EXERCISE SNACKS.
And today, I have my favorite things from the week 🙂 .
Here we go…
On Saturday night, we celebrated my sweet dad’s birthday!
It was a festive occasion for the whole family!
Goodness, I love my dad!
It was a really rainy, yucky day, but the 13 of us (my lucky number!) enjoyed being cozied up for dinner honoring our main man.
I certainly hit the sister-in-law lottery. She is PRECIOUS!
Awwwww, this sums us up! Ha!
We ate, we laughed, we sang Happy Birthday…
…it was really, really sweet.
And well, this certainly happened fast!
This was Smith enjoying his first (bowling) birthday party with my dad.
Those babies don’t keep. They certainly don’t keep.
I’ve shared THESE SLIDES many times before! They are a staple part of my warm weather uniform…
Thanks to some spring-y weather, I busted them out again for another year.
They’re so soft and cushy that I can wear them even to walk the dogs.
THESE SLIDES come in several other colors too!
I have worn them every day this week.
From early morning yoga…
…to my Starbucks run, they have been happy on my feet 🙂 .
Speaking of my feet…
…I found THE COMFIEST DRESS to wear this week with my TARGET SANDALS!
It’s cotton, it’s soft, it comes in so many other colors and even patterns…
…and it has a drawstring waist. You guys, it’s under $20! Love!
While I had it on running errands and working, I thought I’d try it on with two new pairs of shoes I bought for spring and summer…
…stoooooooop!

On Wednesday, I shared…
…my absolute obsession with my new carry on luggage…
…and my team members sent me this photo too. I told you Clare and Shanna travel all over the world with their Beis luggage. Here they are with another one of my team members, Hannah, in Hawaii. They carried everything they needed on in this luggage. I cannot rave about it enough 🙂 .
And because I’m clearly in “warm weather mode”…
…I thought THESE STRIPED PANTS were super cute!
They come in a lot of color options, but the white and blue spoke to my heart.

Question – I have a large extended family who likes to go out to eat together (13-14 people). It always stresses me out since my family isn’t very good at preparing. Do you just “take over” and pick a place and call ahead for a reservation? How do you handle a large party at a restaurant?

We kind of take turns figuring out where to eat and handling the details. This was my turn and actually, the place we went doesn’t take reservations (it’s first come, first serve seating), so we met early for dinner just to be safe (5:15).

Just double checking before I order- does the Beis duffel bag fit under normal airplane seats? We never check any bags, so the suitcase would have to go overhead, and the duffel under the seat. Thanks!
