Last Monday, I did “a day in the life of us” and told you guys I would try to document a little “week in the life” of us. I don’t know what it is…but I love reading posts about people’s normal old lives and how they schedule out their days. Nothing sucks me in to a blog post more than learning what people eat for breakfast and how they get their kids ready for school. Right? It’s crazy how fun it is to read about other people’s daily life.
This year, our days are all different, but our weeks are structured pretty much the same, so I thought I’d take some pics throughout one week to show you kind of what it looks like. Disclaimer: I didn’t take a ton of pics because I kept forgetting (ha!), but I think you will get the gist. I had a lot of questions in last week’s “day in the life” post about working out, working from home and such, so maybe this will answer them for you. Here we go…
MONDAY
If you missed Monday’s post, you can see it HERE.
On Mondays, the little two stay home while the bigs are at school. It’s so hard for me to believe that next year, sweet Ashby will be in kinder and go to school every day. Insert my sad face HERE.
TUESDAY
I got a lot of questions about how often I work out. I would love to work out every day, but I just don’t think this is the season for that. I did a post on how I stay active HERE. Even though I don’t always get a workout in, I at least really try to stay active every day. Plus, my goal is to get 15,000 steps in every day too. On Tuesdays, I don’t go to the gym, I work out from home. It can range from running outside, doing my stairmill, doing yoga (I’m obsessed with the Yogaglo app), or taking a class on…
…my Peloton (which is what I did on this day). I hate this dumb bike. Nothing kills me more than spinning. We have a Peloton bike and you can either take a live class or watch one that’s already happened. There is something like 5,000 classes to chose from (some big number like that). On this day, I took a 30 minute HIIT class and wanted to throw up after.
On Tuesdays, all four kiddos go to school and I stay home and work all day. I really try not to leave the house all day (I run errands on other days), and I work until it’s time to pick them all up from school. Erika takes the littles on Tuesdays (and I pick up), so here is their stuff by the door right before they left. Since I worked out, I try to get dressed before I sit down and work (that way, it’s over and done with)…
My uniform…sweater and jeans. (FYI: my boots are 50% off right now.)
Now the vast majority of my clients and business is not local (we do everything over the phone and internet), but on this day, I had the pleasure of an in-person business meeting at the Starbucks right by my house…
…so, I worked until 10:00 and then ran up there for my meeting before running back home to keep working…
On Tuesdays, I treat myself to lunch being delivered. On this day, I had a quinoa salad and watched a few minutes of Madam Secretary before I went back to work. Then, I got to do something special…
…on my way to pick up the littles from school, I stopped by the big kids’ school and decorated Kensington’s class door with another mom for Valentine’s Day. We had all of the supplies ready, so we just ran in, hung it up and left. K came home from school and said she loved it 🙂 . I love elementary school. I’m going to be sad when all of this is over.
I’ve picked up people (Bowen and Ashby like their seats way in the back), and then we go get the big two. Side note: we listened to The Greatest Showman the entire week. I think Andrew is ready for our family to find something else to listen to 😉 .
On Tuesdays, Ashby has speech and Kensington has dance, so it’s blurry and crazy after school. Here I am that night working on dinner with my little. We had my Slow Cooker Enchilada Tacos and Tab’s Guacamole.
WEDNESDAY
Three out of four are in school on Wednesdays. Madeley and I head to the gym first. I work out, she plays in the kids area, and then I shower and we head back out…
Another day, another comfy pullover.
Little Miss Madeley had a quick little check up before we went home. This is us at her pediatrician’s office waiting for our turn.
Ha! She’s such a fun little mess! We went home and had lunch, and then she took her nap while I worked.
Around 2:00, I decided to get out of my office and work from my bed while listening to one of my favorite movies in the background. I tend to do this. In the spring and summer, I love working on my patio and the rest of the year, I’ll sometimes take my work into my room for the change of scenery and work from my bed while listening to one of my favorite movies in the background.
On Wednesdays, all three girls go to dance right after school. My littlest tapper…
…my biggest tapper 🙂 .
We go home after dance and it’s dinner, playtime and bed.
THURSDAY
On Thursdays, I take to school. So, I don’t work out on these days and instead get up and get dressed for the day. It was pajama day for these two…
They are just so sweet!!
All ready to go to school!
Since I’m out and dressed on Thursday mornings, this is when I run any errands I have. I went by and picked up our groceries (I did grocery pick up, so they were ready and waiting on me), and then Sheaffer was out too, so she asked if I wanted to grab a quick lunch before I went home to work…
…I said YES! So, we ate and laughed for a bit 🙂 . This sweater is 40% off right now by the way.
And then…I apparently got caught up in the Olympics and forgot to photograph any more on this day. Ha! I worked, picked up the kids after school, made dinner and then we watched the Olympics until bedtime.
FRIDAY
This Friday was a little different. I typically get up and workout at home on Friday mornings, but I was having blood work done that morning, so I didn’t get to eat (and if I can’t eat, I can’t workout). So, I just worked until it was time to take these two to school…
We love Fridays!
On Fridays, Erika and I like to do something fun with the kiddos that morning. On this day, we were meeting at a play area, but on the way there, I had my blood work done really quickly and then I was SO READY FOR COFFEE AND BREAKFAST…
Hi, my name is Shay and I absolutely love Sausage McGriddles from McDonald’s. I ate it in the car really fast…
…and downed my coffee.
We met Erika at The Coop in Frisco (a fun kids play place) and they had a blast!
Then, Ashby exited the ball pit and walked up to me and started talking and I was all “Hey, where is your tooth?!”, and she was all “I don’t know?”. Then, Erika and I couldn’t stop laughing because ewwwwww that’s so gross! Then…she found it. Or at least, she found a tooth and we decided that was good enough to leave under her pillow that night.
We ate lunch down the street from the play place, went home (taking Bowen with us to play!), Madeley napped, the other two played and I worked until it was time to get the big kids.
We ate an early dinner at our favorite pizza place so that we made it home in time for the opening ceremony. Madeley started crying when I said “Let me take a picture of that side of the table.” I think she was hoping she would get to switch and sit by me, but since I was taking an official picture, she knew her fate was doomed.
A picture of our side 🙂 . Side note, after this picture, sweet Ashby traded seats with Madeley and all was right in our world.
So, that’s a little peek into our week!

Your week is always packed full of activities, Shay, puts my boring, sedentary life to shame! PS. I wish Sausage McGriddles were available where I live… 😀

Wow! I’m just curious when you find the time to clean. Do you happen to have a housekeeper? I wish I had more time to workout too!
Samantha Harris says
I liked this even better than the day in the life posts!! So fun! I love how you squeeze in little moments to yourself!
Erika Slaughter says
Girl!! What a fun week! One day when we’re old and all alone in our houses we’re gonna miss the constant pick ups, drop offs, and all the crazy in between.
Christina says
Love Kensington and Andrew’s amusement at Madeley’s sudden outburst. Such a candid moment!
This was fascinating. Thanks for sharing the general arc of your week.
Mix and Match Mama says
It like didn’t dawn on her until that moment. Like me taking the picture permanently put her there. Hahahaha!
Tyler says
What a fun post! Your kiddos are so cute! I think the dance pictures are the sweetest!
Alexis deZayas says
Loved reading this!! Sweet Ashby is a good big sister!
Elspeth Mizner says
Love the day in the life/week in the life posts! Always interesting to see why everyone else is up too! I love the Olympics/ it’s nice to always have something to watch.
Nicole says
Love it!
What are the little watches Kensington and Smith are wearing?
Mix and Match Mama says
Garmin Jr. They love them!!
Sheaffer Sims says
Thanks Heavens Ashby traded places with Madeley. I was having wayyyyyyyyy to much anxiety about it for like 8 seconds. Hahaha! And I don’t think I’ve ever known about your love for the sausage McGriddle. Do you know that I ADORE the sausage burritos? OMG. The fake cheese sauce is divine. Seriously.
Sarah says
That photo of Madeley crying reminded me of the one of Ashby when you didn’t want to give her a cupcake for breakfast! Love a candid moment!
Mix and Match Mama says
Hahahahaha! I love that picture of Ashby 😉 .
Shelby Bourgeois @xoShelby says
Adore getting a peek into your sweet sweet life! Had my first Sausage McGriddle yesterday and GAMECHANGER!!
Rachel says
You know what is even crazier than how obsessed we are with these little details of each other’s lives? How I just kind of teared up at that last picture of Andrew, Kensington, and Madeley because Kensington looks SO big and it looks like she has lost basically all of her little girl roundness in her face. She is growing up too fast! And that made me laugh because hello, I don’t really know her lol. But it’s just a general life statement isn’t it? These babies grow up toooo fast!
Cynthia Binari says
Sounds like a lovely week! What car do you drive Shay? As boring as this sounds, I’d love to know how you fit your 4 plus others for drop offs/pick ups and configurations of car seats lol. With my third on the way, I’m in the market for a third row vehicle and I’m finding what vehicles fit what car seats and where you can put them to be very confusing, so interested in what others do!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have a big one! I had them take out the captain seats in the middle row and add a bench so that I could fit one more body in there. I’m so glad I did that! This way, I can fit my four in the back plus two more.
Carla says
Sooooo what, to you, is “a big one”? Haha. Minivan, I’m guessing. But interior looks different. Newest body style Chrysler Pacifica?
Mix and Match Mama says
Ha! It’s a Cadillac ESV.
Kristen Hardison says
Smith’s face in the last picture! ? Safe to say he’s had his fair share of family dinner pictures over the years! ❤️
Mary says
I know you said you hated it, but would love for you to do a review on the peleton bike. I love spinning, but can’t always get to the gym. Some reviews are good, some not so good. It’s not cheap, so I need some honest reviews of the bike and app before I take the plung. Don’t want to add it to the other work out equipment that clothes hang off of :). Thanks! Maybe you can add this as a blog post!
Mix and Match Mama says
I can do that! The Peleton and I have a love/hate relationship 🙂 .
Karla says
Put my vote in for a review of the bike too! Do you mean by love/hate…like it’s a hard workout? Thanks for sharing your life, love following you!
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes. I love that it’s a good workout, but my body wasn’t built for spinning. It is hard EVERY TIME!
Hollie says
I would love a Peleton post as well Shay. Also curious is Andrew uses it and likes it? We already have a treadmill, an elliptical and a rowing machine (a la the Underwoods). Thanks!
Britni Jarvis says
I would love a review as well! Do you have to pay a monthly fee to access the classes—like a gym membership? Also, does Andrew use it? Not sure my husband would do spinning classes, but maybe?!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I’m going to do one now (since there seems to be an interest!). We pay an annual fee and Andrew loves it too!
Erin says
Yes a pelaton bike review soooon please!!!!!
Brooke Workman says
Good morning, Shay! Where did you order your pop socket from?
Thanks,
Brooke

Mix and Match Mama says
Amazon 🙂
Jami says
I would love to hear more about the Peloton as well. I love spin class, one of my very faves. However I just went back to work full time after 8 years at home, I work in a high school and we have to be here at 7:30, the gym is a good 15 minute driver, there is no way I can get there in the morning and my kids have too many after school activities after school. Do you still pay a monthly fee if you want to do the non-live classes?
Narci Dreffs says
What a great week in the life! I just love these kinds of posts!
Mlee says
Hello. Would love to hear about how you pack and plan for the kids lunches. Making school lunches is the bane of my existence so I’m in for all new ideas!
Mix and Match Mama says
I think I did a post on that last spring! We pack all of their stuff up on Sunday afternoons, so that we just grab it from the fridge and go each day. It’s the bane of my existence too 🙂 .
Kathy says
I was overly excited when I saw your Peloton!! I am obsessed with mine. 😉
kim says
What color is the white nail polish that you are wearing while holding the Starbucks cup?
I’m also a background movie person. “Life As We Know It” is a great option if you haven’t tried it 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
OPI Let’s Be Friends and I’ve never seen that one!
kim says
It has Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl. If you like It’s Complicated you will like this one!
Jocie says
I second this recommendation! LOVE
Amy K says
Oh, that’s a great movie! I love that one!
Tina says
One of my favorite movies! It always surprises me how many people haven’t seen it.☺️ My husband and I saw it on our first date night after our first child was born (7 years ago)…and both of us cried. Lol! (My husband is not a cryer, but you’ll see why when you watch it.?) I was all set for some romantic comedy, but never expected to cry!? It’s a super cute and funny movie though.
sydnee says
Guess I’m nosy too bc I love these kinds of posts. 🙂

Rachel says
Could you tell where you bought the little girl’s shoes and necklaces?
Mix and Match Mama says
The necklaces are off of Etsy and the shoes are Nordstrom 🙂 .
Rachel says
Maybe I’m just a nosy girl, but I LOVE posts that give a little glimpse into the lives of others! hahaha They’re so fun! What a fun week 🙂
Susan says
Love these type of posts, not sure why I find them so interesting but I do!
Christin says
Love a day in the life post and the week post was very fun to see!! We’re remodeling our kitchen and I really like the apron sink, but I’m afraid that the inside of the sink will end up looking dirty with it being white. How do you keep yours looking so clean and white?
Mix and Match Mama says
Good old fashioned comet keeps it clean 🙂 .
Karen S. says
If it does get a little dingy I also love Bar Keeper’s powder…..make a paste with a little water and let it sit for a short time.
Julie says
I literally cheered out loud when I saw it was a day in the life post-my absolute favorite! Thanks for sharing your world with us. It’s inspiring how you get it all done, yet stay cheerful and positive. Please know you inspire moms all over with your can-do attitude and adorable family!
Ariadna says
The first pictures of Madeley don’t look like Madeley, if that makes any sense. She looks like a bigger girl now! And I don’t think I can remember ever seeing a picture of sweet Madeley crying or pouting or doing anything other than smiling!! What sweet siblings they all are to each other! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Casey says
This is such a weird question but what time do you typically eat dinner? I’m not sure what time your kiddos get home from school. With activities after school or for us starting at 5:30 for one and 6 for another different nights I feel like i struggle getting on a dinner schedule. It also seems like you have downtime after dinner and I feel like we are scrambling to get to bed. Would love some downtime ha!
Mix and Match Mama says
It depends on the night. We try to aim for 5:30 or 6:00…but depending on sports, sometimes it’s later.
Ann Marie Tennison says
Such a fun week! I need to check out the Coop again with the the girls! We haven’t been there in a while! &&& MAYBE I should turn our extra room in to a work out space…. I need to workout at home on my days off, too! You’ve inspired me, lady!
Melissa says
So fun! I have put The Coop on the short list for our youngest’s party because it looks so fun and I love the party theme ideas. What a cute picture of Ashby in the ball pit!
Cara says
Hi Shay- with your family of 6 it looks like you drive an SUV. I’ve been a minivan mom for a while but am wanting to switch over but the back storage is so much smaller. Can you share what you drive- pros/cons.
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a Cadillac ESV.
Katie says
Hi Shay! I love that beautiful area rug in your kitchen. May I ask where it’s from? Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
We had it made through a store called Anderson’s…which is now out of business. Boo.
Kelly says
I thought a Day in the Life posts were my favorite but a Week in the Life is a close second:) Thanks for sharing. You and your sweet family are a bright spot in my mornings. It’s Tuesday, so I’m guessing you are really hard at work right now:). Have a great day!
Chrystianne Santos says
Madeley cries?!?! What??? Andrew and Kensington’s expressions to her crying were epic! Loved this post. It’s so nice to see how busy you are, yet how you can still remain sane amidst the chaos. Gives me hope that I can keep sanity too haha.
Amanda @ Cupcake N Dreams says
You are so right, I get sucked into these types of posts too! I cannot workout out without eating first as well. Still lol-ing over Ashby’s tooth story!

Okay, love this post!! And I’m inspired to create a weekly schedule like this!!
Elyse says
Morning Shay! What a fun post 🙂 Loving the lipsticks! Which lipstick are you wearing in the car photo and the pic with Sheaffer? Thanks so much!! 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
Stila in Perla 🙂
Beth says
Isn’t it funny how important it is where the littlest ones sit at the table? My five year old will STILL have a fit if she isn’t sitting next to me.
Lois says
Since you never mention cleaning your house, can we correctly assume you have a cleaning lady/ladies take care of that for your family? This post was fun! And I plan to use another one of your recipes later this week in a meal for guests; thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
I do have someone that comes and does the big cleaning (dusting, mopping, etc). When I opened my travel agency, that was the deal I made with Andrew 🙂 .
Khushboo Pelia says
Ah I’ve been thinking about getting a Peloton bike but can’t get past how expensive they can be!! Was the purchase worth it for you and Andrew? How often do you guys get to use it? And how closely do the recorded classes mirror an actual live spin class? Sorry for all the questions!!
Mix and Match Mama says
One of us uses it every day. I use to take spinning at my gym but the time was horrible, so I stopped…I think these live classes are just as good. Obviously, the instructor can’t correct my technique, but they kick my butt every single time.
Jessica Chandler says
How do you fit in so many steps each day? I’m trying to increase mine and struggle with how much computer work i do. Do you have any habits or rules that help you get your count up?
Mix and Match Mama says
I stand a lot when I talk on the phone (which I do a lot with clients!), park further away, always take the stairs, walk my dogs…just all of that adds up!
Kate says
Hey Shay 🙂 I don’t think I’ve ever seen Madely cry! Also, you are super mom, sooo much stuff packed into your days!! I would love to see a toy storage/organization post!!! We have so many BIG toys. Maybe we just need a playroom? IDk! Have a great week 🙂
Suzanne says
Loved this! Yes, peloton post please!!!!
Megan says
What a fun week! Do you have a dedicated workout room in the house? You mentioned having a stairmill and a peloton. We are considering setting one up at home since our schedules are making gym visits tough to fit in.
Mix and Match Mama says
We don’t…they’re split from each other.
Brandi Tooker says
Ah! I got a Peloton in January and I have become obsessed! It is so hard but so good. So many good instructors and fun types of classes! Nothing like the sweat after a spin class on that thing! Loved seeing you have one!
Heather says
Such a fun week! So I have to ask – how do you keep your kids healthy?! You are so fun and out and about all of the time and I just wonder how you seem to keep your family well after visiting these big kid play places, restaurants, etc. I feel like we have been absolute hermits the past two months to avoid the flu and try to stay well. But that hasn’t seemed to phase you guys one bit, praise the Lord! Just curious if you have any tips or tricks or if I am just being too anxious about germs. Thanks, Shay!
Mix and Match Mama says
Well, to be fair, Smith and Andrew both had the flu in January…so, we’re not exempt. Boo.
Ashley Slivocka says
Hey Shay- where are the littles Mary Janes from with the little bows on them?
Mix and Match Mama says
Nordstrom 🙂
Melanie says
I love these posts too! What is it with us weirdos being obsessed with seeing how everyone else lives?
I take that back; not weird, just curious! 😉
Alexandra Perry says
Love that you went to Frisco for a playdate. You previously suggested areas for me to look for our new home and we are now closing on our home in Frisco end of March. I am hoping to visit McKinney town center more often now that we wont be too far away. p.s. Can’t find the kids lunch post, I would love to get ideas for what to pack for my kiddos.
Vanessa says
Hi! Where did you purchase your comforter? I love the colors.
Mix and Match Mama says
A store called Weir’s 🙂 .
Alexandra says
Hey Shay! Does Andrew use the Peloton, too? My husband lifts weights 4-5 times a week, but LOATHES running. Hoping to find a way to add some cardio for him that he doesn’t hate.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yup…but he doesn’t look like death when he gets off like I do…
Jessie Fish says
Where are Ashby and Madeley’s shoes from???
Mix and Match Mama says
Nordstrom!
Lindsay D. says
What lipstick do you have on in the picture of Friday morning with the two big kiddos?? It looks like a perfect matte pink. Thanks!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Stila in Perla 🙂
Lindsay D. says
Thanks!!
Amy L. Wolff says
OMG I love my Peloton… What is your screen name so I can follow you?????? Give me some inspiration.
Mix and Match Mama says
Um, I’m not inspiring on there at all. Hahahahaha!
Janie says
Fun read ! Ashby is the sweetest big sister !!
Karen S. says
I love these type of posts also! That’s exactly how I first got sucked into The Real Housewives shows…..but then they changed ~ we rarely see glimpses of their home lives any longer. Boo
Patty says
Love this post! I was interested in what you said about your Peleton. My husband and I are bikers and we HATE riding indoors on our trainer when we can’t ride outside. He wants to sell the trainer and invest in a Peleton, but given our track record for indoor riding I’m not sure it’s worth the investment. How do you stay motivated to ride, and do you know how it “feels” compared to riding on a trainer? Also, I’m obsessed with the soundtrack from The Greatest Showman and can’t get enough of it either. Awesome music!
Dianna says
I love these very real posts about every day life. I LOVE learning you eat McDonald’s! My only suggestion is share some of the crazy. Share more stories about your 4 kiddos not being perfect (like sweet Madeley). Not mean stories, just life 🙂
Amanda @ That Inspired Chick says
I won’t tell Craig you are cheating on his Cajun Bread with a McGriddle. It’ll be our little secret. 😉 Love that picture of Madeley in the ball pit!! Such a little doll!! That Inspired Chick
Carly M says
I love these posts! Thank you for sharing. Ashby is too sweet to trade places with Madeley. What nail color did you wear last week?
Mix and Match Mama says
OPI Let’s be Friends
Alexis says
Hi Shay! Love this post! I also love the way you decorate and was wondering where you got the area rug in your kitchen and entry way? Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
The entry way rug is from Pottery Barn and the kitchen rug is from a store in town that unfortunately, went out of business.
Jenny says
I am so glad to see I’m not the only one who needs a little McD’s breakfast in their lives!!!
Have a great week!!
Emma Luongo says
Oh my gosh I want a Peloton SO BAD! I know you said you hate it… but do you actually hate it or do you just hate feeling nauseous after a killer workout? lol.
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a great workout. I love the darn thing 🙂 .
Angela Ellingson says
Such a great week! I love when you do these posts!
Nicole says
Do you work out on the weekends? Love these posts! I just starting taking spin classes, and I hate every class, then love it when I’m done. 😉
Mix and Match Mama says
I usually do on Saturday morning, but not on Sundays.
Nikki says
I love your little pizza place too. As soon as I saw that pic of Madeley crying, I was all, “Hey, I recognize that place!” I think we sat in that same spot last time we were there. Great pizza and the best live music spot around. Several of our friends have played there.
Lee Ann says
Love that about her tooth! Years ago I was teaching first grade and had a little boy from Taiwan in my class. He was out of the room for a pull-out group and I hear a commotion on the rug. I go to investigate and there is a tooth on the floor. I picked it up with a tissue and kind of forgot about it until a little while after he returned he smiled at me and sure enough his tooth was missing. I asked why he threw it on the floor and he said “It broke. My tooth broke out!”
Peyton says
I love these posts!!! Just curious – what is your go-to drink at Starbucks?
Mix and Match Mama says
Right now, either tea or Pike (their regular coffee).
April says
I love when you do these post. What a busy week !
Annette says
Let’s see the photo of Ashby crying when she didn’t get a cupcake for breakfast
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a funny one! I think it’s from January 2016 (I think…).
Diana says
Thanks for letting us peek in to your week. Quick question… You never mentioned when you meal planned and cooked meals during the week. Do you do that on a specific day or whenever you find the time? I meal plan every week, then shop and prep. Just curious as to when you fit it in since you didn’t mention it.
Mix and Match Mama says
I typically meal plan and make my grocery list on Thursdays or Fridays and then pick up groceries a few days later. Then, I cook about five nights a week.
Madison says
Hi Shay! I’m new to commenting, but I went back and read your post about being active. I’m curious as to what your “goals” are on your Apple Watch to close your daily rings.
Mix and Match Mama says
450 calories a day, 12 hours stand and 30 minutes exercise 🙂
Shan Rocha says
Did you get the big kids new garmins or just switch the bands ? I would love to read a closet/pantry organization post one day in time for spring cleaning ?
Mix and Match Mama says
They switched bands! We bought new ones on Amazon for like $10!
Lindsey says
Love this post!! Thank you for sharing and YES, Sausage McGriddles are the absolute best!!!!
Karah Stracener says
I love these type of posts. It is so fun to see into someone’s family life. Your family is so precious and whew you have a busy week. I love that you still take time for yourself. The picture of Madeley crying is too cute, poor baby. Thanks for sharing a week in your life.
Julie says
Hi Shay!
I love your black wrought-iron fireplace screen in the picture from your room. Do you happen to remember where you got it?
Jill says
Hi Shay,
When you and Erika pick up/drop off each others kids, how do you finagle the car seat situation? Do you have extras in your car, or do you quickly install each others? I’m curious how you get the logistics to work.
Thanks
Mix and Match Mama says
We keep extras in our car. I always keep one for Bowen and vice versa in the back. It just makes things easier.
Casey says
I saw one pic that had a wall of family pics in your home. Love it! I’d love to see more of how you decorated your walls in the house. I still feel like ours are pretty bare and we’ve been in our home for a year!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have a whole post on just my walls! Click on the “our house” tab on the sidebar and you can find it. (Or search ‘on our walls’).
Elizabeth Feldpausch says
I was re-reading this post today (because like you I LOVE these posts!) and I was wondering when you carve out time to read. I am still having my babies (1 almost 2 year old and a 7 month old) and I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day! Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
Well, I wasn’t reading when I had babies that age :). I was just trying to stay afloat back in those days. I read a lot at night and then any time my kids are at an activity (dance, speech, etc).
Martha says
I am interested in the Yogaglo App. Do you just watch it from your phone or do you get it on your TV?
Mix and Match Mama says
I just watch it on my phone.
Christina M says
What are your thoughts on the Pelaton bike?!
Bri says
I have to ask… do you have a post where you share how you keep your teeth so white?? I am obsessed with coffee and I feel like I need to stay on top of working on some sort of whitening because of that. TIA!
Mix and Match Mama says
Hahahaha! Just basic Crest Whitestrips 🙂 .
Jess Ackermann says
Since this post I have been researching Peloton and am so intrigued! Consider this a formal plea for a full review/post on your Peloton!
