Once a month, Erika and I host a link up where we “look” at little aspects of our lives.  If you’re a blogger, make sure you blog and link up!

Here’s what we’ve been “looking” at so far this year…
In January, we looked at the coziest spots in our house
In February, we looked at our favorite reads
In March, we looked at the people in our family!
In April, we looked at our pantries!
In May, we looked at our favorite #OOTD
In June, we looked inside our suitcase
In July, we looked at a day in the life of us.

And today, we’re looking at our favorite binge worthy shows!

I mean…this is a topic I can really get behind.

Here’s the thing, I love to have a show to watch while I do some of those menial tasks around the house (folding laundry, unloading the dishwasher, eating breakfast/lunch by myself, etc.).  I always watch these shows on my phone and catch a few minutes here and there.  Over time, I’ll finish a whole season.  Andrew and I used to binge shows together, but it feels like lately, he binges what he likes, I binge what I like (when we’re both doing random stuff) and then we watch other shows on TV together that aren’t necessarily “binged”.  So, this is how I binge.  The pro, it’s super convenient, the con, I’ve never, ever, ever watched many of these series on an actual TV.  For instance, Andrew is horrified that I’ve never seen a single minute of Game of Thrones on the actual TV (just my phone).

Thanks to Netflix and Amazon Prime, these days, most of my shows come from there.  First up, I’m going to share shows that I’ve actually “binged” and not watched while they were in progress and then, I’ll share shows I watched in progress that you could now binge if you so desired (make sense?).  My very first show to ever “binge” watch was 24 (greatness!), so clearly, this list goes way back (Andrew and I lived in an apartment in Irving during that time, so it was like 14 years ago!).

My favorite shows that I’ve ever binge-watched (in order of how much I loved them…but honestly, I love all of them!!).  Some of these shows are still making new seasons, but I’ve binged at least as far as I could until further seasons are dropped:

I’m sure I’ve forgotten some!  But those are the ones that come to mind first.  I quit Grey’s Anatomy midway through season 7.  I just couldn’t anymore, y’all.   I’ve started many and watched a season or two and then stopped, but those listed above, I saw through to the very end!

Now, here are shows that are totally binge-worthy, but I didn’t binge them (I watched them while they were on TV)…

I probably forgot some of those too, but I’m sure you’ll jog my memory!

Okay…whew…those are my favorite binge-worthy shows!  Now, I’m slowlllllllly working my way through Game of Thrones and will finish it…but, I am already looking forward to my next series.  WHAT SHOULD IT BE???  I’m begging you…it needs to be light/funny/not Game of Thrones-ish.  Please!

Also, I watched the first episode of Outlander and didn’t love it.  My parents and Brooke both tell me to keep watching because it’s amazing.

They also loved Game of Thrones.

So, please don’t suggest Outlander to me today 😉 .

Just kidding.

Also, who uses Britt Box?  I’ve heard about it and it intrigues me, but I’d love feedback from one of you.

    You should totally watch Jane the Virgin! It’s funny and cute and soo addictive!! I LOVE it! My sister and I reference it often and might have shed a tear or two when they didn’t have the final season on Netflix available! lol!         The Handmaid’s Tale is out there but we haven’t been able to stop watching it ?. Something always happens at the end that makes me have to watch the next one. Outlander does get really good. My daughter asked me if she should keep watching and now she loves it. River dale is a good one too that I didn’t see on your list

          I second both of these, we’re halfway through Hart of Dixie right now. It pulled me in immediately and the perfect balance of light-hearted and enjoyable.

        Schitts Creek… hilarious and short episodes. Takes the first few to get into the show, but really funny and light.

      I could not agree more! This show has been sooo good!! I’ve loved every second and still can’t believe it’s officially over! Give Jane the Virgin a shot!! It reminds me of Gilmore Girls with a Latina family!!

      Jane the Virgin is an AWESOME show! Well worth the long seasons. I am trying to get myself to a place to commit to Breaking Bad. EVERYONE is telling me I need to watch that one, but it just looks soooo loooong! You should also check out Dead to Me with Christina Applegate. I just finished that one.

      I was totally about to respond and say Jane the Virgin!!!! It’s the BEST. You will love it!! Also I LOVE Stranger Things. Not remotely light, but SO GOOD.

      Outlander is hard to get into at the beginning Unless you’ve read the book. The book is AMAZING!!! Read it first and then come back to the show!

          I agree, you have to read the books first to really enjoy the beautifully shot series. But at 900+ pages per book, they are far too long and dense for her. Even though they are set in an area of the world she says she loves.
          Plus, shows like Game of Thrones and Outlander are to be savored, not watched on an iphone while multi-tasking. So it’s no wonder she doesn’t like them. A person would miss too much to really understand and enjoy the story.

          Currently watching Jane the Virgin and it’s really good. Two pf my favorites are The Blacklist & Scandal but they aren’t light and funny!

        Mad Men hands down! Stranger Things is great and I normally don’t watch Sci-fi but it has great 80s throwback!! Dead to Me on Netflix just has season 1 but is really good. Showtime shows I’d suggest are The Affair and Ray Donovan. And obviously Big Little Lies on HBO. have fun!

        I enjoyed Imposters! The first season (hopefully there will be more!) is on Netflix. Also Dead to Me is good! That’s just one season so far too. (On Netflix.)

          I’m trying to watch Imposters! TBH, I’ve only watched the first show but it was so hard to get into. I’m going to give it another shot though.

          I’m currently watching The Office. I never saw it on regular TV. When my daughter first started watching on Netflix, I hated it! But now I’m love, love, loving it!

        The Newsroom is one of my all time favorite shows!! So smart & witty! Plus many are mentioning Jane the Virgin – sooooo good too!

      I also love watching Queer Eye when I am doing tasks around the house. Such a feel-good show.

    Ummm…Stranger Things?!? I really loved the Umbrella Academy and also Dead To Me. Dead to Me was funny but also dark and heavy at times. Stranger Things is a cult classic..it’s 2019..you at least have to try it. ?

    I binge watch shows while doing other stuff and here are my favorites (other than some of the ones you have mentioned): Friday Night Lights (Netflix), Younger (Hulu), Crazy Ex-Girlfiriend (Netflix), Jane the Virgin (Netflix) and The Bold Type (Hulu). I plan on watching Veronica Mars (Hulu) next. Looking forward to reading what other shows people recommend!

    Lady ! I have no suggestions for you but am in awe of You keeping up to date on so many shows ! Binge watching is such a part of culture now, I frequently feel left out when talking with adults BUT than I realize TV watching isn’t my thing and get back to reading !

      Shay, we need to have an intervention. Lol! You must watch past the first episode of Outlander. You can catch up and have plenty of time to be ready before season 5 comes out!l early next year! Whoop!

          I received a copy of Outlander years ago and never picked it up to read. I just didn’t think it was my thing. Once I read it, I was hooked. Can’t wait for the new season. As I always say, who wouldn’t want a Jamie Fraser by your side. ?

        I have to agree with Brooke! Outlander needs a second chance. Although, at first I did the same thing as you. I couldn’t even finish the first episode. When we finally gave it another try we could not stop watching!

    Not “Games of Throneish”, but not light and funny either. I LOVED “The 100”-set in the future-it’s about 100 teens sent back to Earth after 100 years on “The Ark”. There are 5 seasons on Netflix and the 6th season just finished up on the CW.

    If you want light and easy to follow…Hart of Dixie! I’ve watched it on and off for a couple years and it’s easy to pick up anytime…cute characters!

    I have a few suggestions! Sort of a mix of many genre’s! Haha

    Parks and Recreation is hilarious! Season 1 drags a bit, but from Season 2 on it’s amazing!

    Victoria is so good! If you like The Crown, you’ll love Victoria!

    Hart of Dixie! Good old small town drama!

    Chesapeake Shores, When Calls the Heart and Good Witch are all classic Hallmark tv shows!

    I hope you find some new binges!!

      You should watch Suits! It’s similar to Good Wife but It’s set in NYC. Your binge list is 98% my binge list 🙂

      Also, that Christine Applegate new one…Dead to Me. Only 30 minute episodes. Mystery, but funny & rated R language. I liked it a lot.

    I love British mysteries – Luther (#1 favorite ever with Idris Elba), Shetland, Grantchester (Masterpiece), Broadchurch, Prime Suspect, so many wonderful series. On my “to watch” list is Manhunt with Martin Clunes (Doc Martin). Speaking of… I love Doc Martin and most all quirky British series. I wish Monarch of the Glen was still available.

    Call the Midwife is excellent. It’s definitely not funny but the nuns are precious and so many of the storylines will make you smile. Give one episode a shot-it’s nothing like I thought and truly excellent writing.
    Reckless is another good one. It surprised me from the first episode.

    Hart of Dixie was the first show I binged… and my current favorite, Suits!!! Watch episodes 1 and 2 of Suits before you decide if you like it or not! Wait… you need to watch Younger, too!!! Suits, Younger, and Hart of Dixie. I bet you will love those!!! ?

    Schitt’s Creek has been one of my favorite binge shows! I’d highly suggest that after Game of Thrones!

      Schitt’s Creek is hysterical! Super short episodes and isn’t extremely dependent on a storyline, meaning if you zone out for a few it’s no big deal 🙂 (unlike some dramas where you’ll get lost if you step away for a minute)

    My husband and I are watching Blue Bloods on Netflix and we both love it! Season 10 will air on CBS this year, but all the other seasons are available to binge watch! It stars Tom Selleck & Donny Wahlberg & it’s excellent!

    Parks and Recreation!! Season 1 starts slow (IMO), but the series just gets better and better! It’s our go-to when we just want something short to wind down before bed…light, and SO funny. We still laugh out loud, even if it’s the 3rd or 4th (or 7th) time we’ve seen the episode!

    Hart of Dixie!! Only 3 seasons and I just loved it. Super easy to watch while doing other things. It totally reminded me of Gilmore girls (set is on the same town square) which I binged last summer.

      The best BEST is Orange Is the New Black! Also loved Workin Moms!! The Let Down was also similar and funny about the early baby days of being a mom.
      The very first show I ever binge watched was Big Love. I had to check out the DVDs that had a few episodes on them at Blockbuster ?

    We loved White Collar! Interesting story lines and the relationship between the main characters feels real and believable with plenty of humor thrown in. Most definitely NOT Game of Thrones-ish 😉

    It’s not light and airy but it’s sooooo well written and extremely thought provoking – it’s on HULU- The Handmaid’s Tale. Also Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime is fun, like 24.

      I second The Handmaid’s Tale! I have never seen another show remotely the same as this one. The cast is incredible. Definitely not light but you won’t be able to stop once you start.

    JANE THE VIRGIN! You’ll be hooked within minutes of the first episode. Soooo good and incredibly binge worthy!! It’s funny, heartwarming, and has just enough suspense to keep you binging.

    Yes to Jane the Virgin as well! Also, have you watched Dead to Me on Netflix? Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are the leads and SO good on this show. It’s dark, with humor in the right places, tragic, and twisted! Quickest 10 episode binge!

    I have also binged many of those shows. I also really enjoyed binging a series on Prime called John Adams. It was originally on HBO I think. It’s soooo good. But for light, right now I’m binging Parks and Rec. And my hubby and I actually both like it. So it a double win in the binge category.

      My thoughts exactly!! You will LOVE Friday Night Lights. It’s so much more than a show about football. The stories and acting are amazing. I never thought I would be into a show about a football team in Texas but this show was so dang satisfying. Please watch it because I would love to know what you think.

    Definitely try Poldark (it’s a BBC/PBS show but it’s on Amazon Prime! It’s so good! And if you haven’t watched Victoria (another British goodie), it’s great, too!

    This is a random assortment of ones that have been recommended to me that I love! Poldark (available on Prime), Schitt’s Creek (my husband thought I would hate this but it became one of my favorites-perfect light and funny show!), and I am currently watching Imposters.

    The most recent show we’ve binge-watched on Netflix was the first 3 seasons of The Last Kingdom. I wasn’t sure about it when my husband recommended we start watching, but I ended up loving it! I still think about it at times and can’t wait for season 4! I think Andrew would really like it too if you decide to watch something together. 😉

      I absolutely love this show. You can’t help loving the characters. So heartwarming. Has anyone watched The Durrels of Corfu, also on PBS? Based on a true story. Very funny and quirky family.

    I just binged Riverdale and it’s amazing!! Like didn’t get anything done for a few weeks amazing! Season 3 gets a little strange but you have to stick it out 🙂 They are currently filming season 4, it is a CW show.

    You MUST watch Dexter!!!!! It is not light and funny, but after declaring Breaking Bad my absolute favorite show of all time, I have now changed my mind to Dexter. I really think you would love it too!

    I would recommend Secrets and Lies. There are only 2 seasons and both seasons are different stories but Juliette Lewis is the only character in both seasons. The first season had Ryan Phillipe and the second Michael Ealy and Jordan Brewster I think but both will keep you on the edge of your seat. I think they ran on CBS on Fridays.

    I need to up by binge watching game. The only show I’ve ever binged was Parenthood. I LOVED IT, but it took over my life, so I’ve been hesitant to start another season. I need to pick a show and commit!

    Dead to Me had me hooked this summer! I think it took me two days because I just had to find out what was happening! Also, when Kensington is older (not trying to speed up time), I think you’d both like Jane the Virgin. My mom and I binged it when it won a Golden Globe and then we watched it with fidelity each week.

    I’m surprised Entourage isn’t one of those shows that has been brought back, although maybe with the #metoo movement, it wouldn’t translate as well in the present? I am currently binging Big Love on Prime…watched it sporadically when it was on the first time around, but missed a few seasons. I don’t know why, but it just fascinates me! What about Sex and the City? And Friends from College?

    Call the Midwife!!!!! It’s on Netflix and has 7 seasons. It’s about a group of nurses in East End London in the 1950’s-it’s so so great!!!

    I will go ahead and jump on the Jane the Virgin bandwagon!! it really is so good, funny, surprising and so much more. there are twists that made my mouth hang open, made me laaaaugh out loud, cry. it’s silly, cheesy at times, but is really good and I am bummed it’s the final season. You will love Jane and the entire love saga. Can’t wait to see how it ends. Enjoy 🙂

    I tried the first episode of GOT and I just couldn’t. Be brave and watch Handmaids Tale with me. You’ll have to watch multiple episodes of Friends after to get your mind right, sounds totally worth it huh?. Why do I do this to myself??? lol

    Workin’ Moms is a Canadian sitcom that Netflix picked up – it currently has the first two seasons. It’s a quick, easy watch and totally relatable (although not exactly PC!). Also Parks & Rec is a must in our house!

    Hi, if you are a bit of an Anglophile you might enjoy Doc Martin. It’s about a surgeon who used to work in a big hospital in London until he develops a phobia of blood and so takes a job as a doctor in a sleepy fishing village in Cornwall, and how he tries to get used to the quirky community life there. It’s easy and uplifting to watch.

    Also some of the episodic period dramas like the 1995 Pride and Prejudice (6 episodes) or Emma (2009 miniseries on UK Netflix) or The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (3 episodes). The latter is by Anne Brontë and deals with domestic abuse and how the protagonist reconciles this with her Christian faith and marriage vows.

    I’m guessing you might have seen Lost or had that recommended to you, but for binge-worthiness that’s pretty high. MindHunter is about the dawn of criminal psychology and it’s intelligent but quite disturbing too. Lots of talking so you kind of have to concentrate a lot.

    My husband and I have started watching Stranger Things at the moment which we are really enjoying but it’s fantasy and eighties-geek nostalgia so you might be a bit fantasied-out if you’ve just finished Game of Thrones.

    I think you would love Call the Midwife! I cried during most episodes (usually happy tears, sometimes sad ones). I love the nuns, the families they work with, and they snapshot back in time. Such a sweet show! Jane the Virgin is also fun (but I would rate Call the Midwife much higher).

    Friday Night Lights is at the top of my all-time favorite list. I legit cried when it ended.

    VD is not light, but it is intriguing and really well written. It’s a little graphic at times, but the suspense is really good. There’s lots of romance to keep it juicy. My husband and I watched it together.

    Definitely watch “Dead to Me” Every episode gets better and better! I even got my husband to watch it who thought it was a bit “chickish” but ended up really liking it, and they are shooting a second season! Can’t recommend it enough, and I have loved everything on your binge list and NEVER got into Game of Thrones!! We are patiently waiting for Ozark to come back on.     When Calls the Heart on Hallmark Channel! So light and sweet! Yes, Lori Laughlin is one of the main characters and I am disappointed in her but the show is good. Outlander! You have to stick with the first season..you will be hooked! I used to love scary shows but can’t anymore after having kids but my college age daughter talked me into watching The Haunting on Hill House…its good, scary and kept me wanting to watch one episode after the other…with the lights on of course!

    If you liked Downton, then you’ll also like Poldark on Prime TV. They are still showing the fifth season on BBC One, so you can only watch seasons 1-4, but I blasted through them in less than three weeks. I wouldn’t necessarily call it all light, since it’s another period drama, but I loved it.

    Working Moms!!! (Netflix – takes place in Canada) or the Let Down (similar show on netflix… takes place in Australia) both have two seasons. The humor is dark in both though, but I think it’s a great show to make you LOL at the end of the day.

    Along the same twisted vibe…The Handmaids Tale. I can’t remember if you’ve recommended this book, but I actually think the show is better? But it makes you SO ANGRY! Lol. So maybe not a light watch… with three seasons though, it’s a good/ interesting (although horrifying) watch!

    In the Dark (Netflix, but I think it’s on the CW) is a light/ easy watch with enough drama to keep it interesting.

    How has a Texas girl like you not watched Friday Night Lights?! Haha. For light-hearted shows, I adored Hart of Dixie, and I’m currently binging and loving Desperate Housewives (not as cheesy as it sounds). Younger is hilarious and fun! Criminal Minds and the original CSI Las Vegas are oldies but such good suspense shows. The Handmaids Tale pulls you right in (but definitely don’t have your sweet kiddos around – it’s an adult show). My hubby and I have also enjoyed binging Suits together – that might be something you and Andrew both like?!

    Jane the Virgin just ended is on Netflix and is 100% bingeworthy. I watched it week by week, but my brother-in-law is watching it now and he is loving it. It’s just SUCH a good show. Also, THE GOOD PLACE. It’s had 3 seasons come out so far and this upcoming season is the last one. We ended up watching the entire 3 seasons in about 3-4 days because they were 30 minute shows. I remember Erica mentioning that she was watching Drop Dead Diva at one point and so that got me binge watching it, and I liked it!

You need to watch the first season to figure out the characters but after the second season, it really shines! Season 1 is so slow, but the character development is amazing and it’s the kind of show I want to watch when I’ve had a bad/long day. Lastly, The Great British Baking Show! My husband and I love watching this show in the fall/winter months because it screams cozy and is just so delightful. 🙂

    New Girl- 100x over. I love every character on this show, it’s light and hilarious and easy. I still can’t get over the fact that you’ve watched all of Game of Thrones on your phone. haha! Not the way it should be watched! It’s honestly probably part of the reason why you’re not loving it! I feel like so much happens where you need to see the full picture on a big screen!
    Also, Parks and Rec. The first season they really made the characters stick to a script and then realized that it wasn’t working, so from season 2 on it’s WAY more improve and it’s so much better. So get past season 1 and you’ll be forever obsessed. Trust me.
    Big Little Lies on HBO is a great one, but I think you may have to focus more on it. Divorce on HBO with Sarah Jessica Parker is another good one!

    I could not get into Game of Thrones at all; I know quite a bit about it since my husband watched the WHOLE thing an usually in our bedroom since it was not at all appropriate for the kids but from the few glimpses I did see I just knew it was not my thing. I’ve heard good things about Outlander and we might try that but we have one episode left of Breaking Bad and then we want to give Better Call Saul a try since we are just loving his character on BB.

I literally hid the book in files at work (I was an intern) so I could keep reading during the day. SO good.

    Call the Midwife or Grantchester…..basically anything in PBS. Call the Midwife is one of my favorite shows ever (and I’ve watched most of what you’ve binged). The first season or two were based on the stories of a real midwife in London’s East End In the 50’s, and now they have started writing more fictional stuff, but keeping it historically accurate and moving along in history. It is SO great.

    You know they came out with a spin off of The Good Wife called The Good Fight. Diane is on it and Luca Quinn and Eli Golds daughther Marissa and a new character played by a character from GOT. It is so good and a lot of the old clients come on (Lemond Bishop and Colin Sweeny), and lawyers (like Elsbeth!). As a fellow Good Wife lover, I highly recommenced.

    I recently watched the first season of Good Girls. It was pretty good. It kind of has a Breaking Bad vibe. Only Season 1 is on Netflix. I hope they put season 2 on there soon. Many people have mentioned Hart of Dixie to you…..one of my favorites.

    Dead to Me was great, dark and twisty, but great. It’s a Netflix original so short episodes and only one season at the moment (I’m pretty sure season two is coming this fall).

    Workin’ Moms is hilarious but also it’s super R (language, nudity, etc…).

    If you are a Fixer Upper fan…it’s on Netflix too (my 5 year old loves to watch it with me). I like to have it on while I’m cleaning up the kitchen and making lunches. Netflix also has some cute baking shows and I think 3 seasons of “Nailed It” which is hilarious.

    Have you and the kids watched Alexa and Katie yet? I believe only 3 seasons at the moment (Netflix original too so short seasons) – it’s a cute story about a high school freshman who is kicking cancer’s butt and all the shenanigans her and her bestie get into. Tiffani Thiessen is the mom!

    You totally watch Younger. Its on TVLand but all the seasons (except the current) are on Hulu. It is so cute and fun and easy to binge. My fiance and I also just finished binging The Expanse on Prime. Surprisingly I really liked it, even though I was trying to figure out what was happening all the time haha

    Two spins offs that are still currently airing and really good – The Good Fight & Better Call Saul. Shows that have completed – 24, Friday Night Lights, Prison Break, The Americans, Brothers and Sisters. Currently airing and heavy – Handmaid’s Tale. Currently airing and light – Younger, Kim’s Convenience. Also currently airing – Billions (get past the first scene and the show is good), Shameless (it’s a bit crass in the earlier seasons but the show and characters are well written). Suits was good in the earlier seasons but it’s become a bit formulaic. Burn Notice didn’t get much publicity but it was a USA Show so it’s lighthearted and funny.

    My go-to is Gilmore Girls—over, and over, and over again! (I even watched it while I was in labor this past March…AND delivery!) It’s such a fun (and funny), smart, easy, happy show to watch, one you do not have to pay attention to!

    my husband and I are binge watching Blue Bloods…we are on season 4 out of 7. We love it! also we watched Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime and LOVED IT! We watched all 8 episodes in a weekend! 🙂 thanks for the other ideas!

    Hi, I watch very little TV but I started watching Bloodline with my husband and it’s so good!! I’m totally hooked, unfortunately there are only three seasons but so worth watching. Here’s the fun part….it’s filmed in the Florida Keys so this Florida girl bought the book that shows you where scenes were filmed and we’ve had so much fun visiting those spots. Check out Bloodline Shay, you won’t be sorry.

    Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries on Netflix is set in the 20s and is witty plus it’s fun to see the fashion. Royal Pains is another one that’s funny and set in the Hamptons.

    Turn – only four seasons but soooo good. Somebody Feed Phil – only two seasons so far but for anyone who loves food, travel and also loved Everybody Loves Raymond (he wrote it) – you’ll LOVE it. You can also watch his first PBS series, I’ll Have What Phil’s Having. The PBS Sherlock series with Benedict Cumberbatch is absolutely fantastic. Speaking of BBC – Call the Midwife and, if you can find it, Doc Martin.

    I watched a couple of seasons of Jane – first show I ever binge watched- but sadly lost interest . I’m definitely on the Schitt’s Creek bandwagon. My husband and I have loved watching it together.We are also fans of the Durrell’s of Corfu!

    NewsRoom is amazing! I love British televison so have Acorn Tv and have been contemplating BritBox or Masterpiece.
    Doc Martin is a great series, A Place to Call Home (An Australian soap), Last Tango in Halifax, Where The Heart Is-all are binge-worthy!! Getting great ideas from all the comments!

    I love VEEP. It’s probably rated R and it’s on HBO so not free, but the funniest show I’ve seen in a long time.

    My husband and I are finishing our Dexter binge this week and it’s so good! One of those shows like Breaking Bad where you totally root for people doing bad things but don’t want them to get caught! Also, Peaky Blinders is AMAZING!! Another show both husband and wife enjoy (the main character Thomas Shelby makes the females happy!). Just be sure to watch with subtitles!

    Stop what you’re doing and watch Stranger Things! Hands down one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! I also really enjoyed Dead To Me! There’s only one season so far (they’re working on S2) but it’s also a must see

    Veronica Mars (old tv show, movie plus new tv show on Hulu!)
    Hart of Dixie (set on part of the Gilmore Girls set and just so easy to watch)
    Younger (On TV Land, I fly through this one every time a new season is released :))

    Shows I have binge watched: Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, Dead to Me, Haunting of Hill House (LOVE!!), Orange is the New Black, Friday Night Lights
    Shows I just regularly watch (or watched in the past): Greys, Scandal, Bates Motel, The Good Doctor, A Million Little Things, This is Us, New Girl

    That said, I could never just watch bits and pieces of any new show while I’m multitasking. Too frustrating and choppy. When I think of “binge watching” I think of something you actually sit down and take in (maybe after the kiddos go to bed?). For multitasking I feel like it’s more about just having background noise, so I’ll put on something I’ve already seen or something mindless like a Hallmark movie.

    Chesapeake Shores….It is a Hallmark show but it gives you all the warm fuzzy feelings…you will LOVE it!

    Suits! Its currently on its last season on USA. But Amazon Prime has all the previous 8 seasons. It has drama, comedy and a cast of great actors including Megan Markle. My husband and I are both hooked!

    Okay, I’d like to say DO NOT WATCH Outlander. I really enjoyed it at first, but later on into the show (maybe in season two?) something happens that was the absolute worst thing I have ever seen on television 🙁 The whole show was not worth that one part! I even fast forwarded through it and the scene still haunts me today.

    If you liked Parenthood, you will love Brothers and Sisters – it’s better if you ask me. I started on it a couple of seasons in so I missed the first couple of seasons,, so I’m realizing I need to go watch it since those are available. Agree Hart of Dixie is super cute and addictive. Got a bit raunchy at the end. Outlander was awful. Only watched one episode. But I also only made it through half an episode of GoT and can’t believe people recommend it. 24 was the best to binge-watch. Could never wait to see the next episode! We definitely need to binge watch Friday Night Lights…. Keep forgetting that one.

    Hart of Dixie and Parks and Rec are very similar to what you listed as what you love! Jane the Virgin is good, not at all appropriate for kids walking in, but you might enjoy it!

    Hart of Dixie and Chesapeake Shores (I bought it on apple tv but you can also stream through amazon if you get the Hallmark Channel upgrade). Both are light, easy to walk in and out of the room, and addictive 🙂 Also the new season of Chesapeake Shores starts 8/25 and so I just rewatched the first 3 seasons in anticipation.

    With your love for sitcoms like Friends and Frazer, I am surprised you don’t watch The Big Bang Theory. Because of the name, I was not going to watch it, but then in 2010, I went to a continuing Ed conference on autism and the instructor kept referencing the show and talking about Sheldon. My husband and I were hooked after watching one episode. Now, watching the reruns is like eating comfort food for me. It is funny and smart and deals with how people interact and maintain their relationships. All the characters grow so much as the seasons progress. And it is so funny.
