Yum! It all looks so good! Do you toast your hamburger buns? How do you do buns?
Mix and Match Mama says
It depends on what kind of bun/what we’re eating. I like them toasted on the grill the best!

When you serve your kids tostadas do they each eat one or do you split them in half? Also do you cut theirs up so its easier and mess of a mess for them to eat?
Mix and Match Mama says
They each get one and kind of break it up with their fork. I would be lying if I didn’t say their hands were also involved 😉 !

I love how you “mix and match” ingredients to add some uniqueness to typical dishes! However, I’m so curious on how you get your little ones to eat it? My kids are so picky it’s so hard to get them to eat let alone try new things! Do you have any secret parenting tips that worked for you? Lol!

My little ones aren’t the trouble…it’s more my bigs. My littles eat everything, while my older kids are more particular (one loves chicken while one loves beef…so they both can’t always win at dinner!). I make a lot of things with toppings and garnishes and don’t care how they assemble (more of one thing, less of the other). I think the older they’ve gotten, it’s been so much easier. They always try things which makes me happy. i think getting them to try can be half the battle.

Yum!! I’m making the pineapple bread to take on our beach trip next week. Have you ever added coconut to it? Just wondering! Thanks for great recipes, Shay!
