Happy Friday!!!!! I’m extra excited today because I’m partnering with my favorite retailer Nordstrom and ShopStyle and have a HUGE lineup of favorite things for SPRING!
I’m so excited that Spring begins TOMORROW! Now, we all know that I’ll get my heart set on warmer weather, and it will be cold (exactly like what happens to me in the fall), BUT emotionally, I’m excited about the fresh new season.

Yesterday, I shared pics from the first part of our Spring Break vacation and had several questions about swimsuits. Here’s a little look at some of my favorite pieces from Nordstrom…
I bought this romper last spring and wore it a bazillion times all spring/summer long. I just love a romper over a swimsuit. Right now, it’s still in stock at Nordstrom in two other colors as well!
My super fun swimsuit is also a Nordstrom find! It looks like it’s already sold out in the bright pink color in a bikini, but they still have it in a really cute…
…ONE PIECE! How adorable is that?!
One day, I paired THE TOP with white bottoms I already had and then another day, I paired THE BOTTOMS with a solid white bikini top.
I went back through my pics to see if I had other pics showing you my swimsuits…but I don’t. We’ll have to catch little glimpses here and there. THIS TOP with solid black bottoms was so cute…
…and finally, THIS TOP with solid bottoms was another winner too.
I like to mix and match my swimsuit tops and bottoms which works really well because I can buy one fun and bright swimsuit and pair it with solid pieces from years past to get multiple different looks without buying all new suits. Becca and La Blanca at Nordstrom are always my favorite!!
Anyone else watching this on repeat at their house? My kids have turned it on every single night!! Raya is super cute and really funny too. Anyone else think it’s a wink and a nod to Game of Thrones? I would bet you money that I watch it again tonight 😉 .
Before we left, I bought myself this cute coverup and a new neutral pair of jelly sandals to take with me…
…aren’t they so cute?! My color is right HERE but look at these other fun colors they also come in…
I wore these sandals and then, of course…
…my Havaianas all week! I bought those flip flops about three years ago, and I swear they’ll last forever. They also come in a million colors too!
Back home, I’m ready to wear shorts. The weather in Texas is such a tease! One day, it will be 79 and gorgeous and then the next, it’s 41 and gloomy. I am loving these next two pairs of shorts. LOVING THEM!! And the cute tops too…
Hello cute little button detail on the shoulder! This little puff sleeve top comes in several colors, but my heart belonged to that spring-y pink! Let’s talk about those shorts though…
…I love that they’re not high in the waist or low either. They are perfectly in the middle with just enough stretch to be comfy but not too much that the booty sags after wearing them all day. These are so comfortable and I know I’ll reach for these shorts time and time again!
Clearly, I have a thing for these shorts with a puffy sleeve 🙂 .
This little tee just makes a basic tee a bit ‘extra’. I bought the shorts in a 26 and both tops in xsmall.

They’re that perfect mix of lightly distressed, soft and washed black. They fit beautifully!!!! I also loved them with my slippers too 🙂 .
I can’t quit it with these slippers!
Ladies, I was blown away on Tuesday with your comments on my ear piercing post!! It was so inspiring to read all of the different things YOU did just for YOU! Really and truly, I just thought it was the coolest response I’ve had to a post in a long time. I thought talking about it was a little silly, but by the end of the day, I was so inspired and motivated by you guys. I love that so many of us are doing things just for us that we’ve always wanted to do.
One more little Nordstrom find that I took on vacation…
…who doesn’t love a little black dress? I personally loved the little shoulder pads at the top for an extra something. I paired them with bright pink shoes from a few years ago. An LBD just can’t be beat!

So many cute looks for summer! I am so jealous of your vacation. I’m dreaming of spring break away but just don’t think it’s worth all the ridiculous hoops we still have to jump through in regards to all the regulations our state still has in place about any sort of travel. I keep checking in weekly to see if/when they’ll lift and promised the family that no matter what we are taking some sort of vacation this summer. (We have NEVER gone on summer vacation since we have always vacationed in the off season).

LOVED IT!!! I ended up tucking the longer strap inside and only using the over the shoulder straps because it fit my frame the best. I really loved it!

You need a pair of Lemon Jelly’s for summer!!! They are the most comfortable (like walking on a cloud) and so cute. Waterproof and cute so you can wear to the pool and then dinner… did I mention they give you a little height?? The best!

Hi Shay, I have a question about your wedding rings, if it’s not too personal. I am considering adding to my set for my 30th anniversary this summer and love the look of yours. May I ask how large your solitaire ring is? And does it ever “get in the way” just doing regular chores throughout the day? I’ve always worn bands with the diamonds flush to the ring but I love the look of a raised stone. Thanks!

Did you find the TB jelly sandals to be very slippery when your were at the pool/wet feet?
I have a couple pairs from past seasons & found them almost dangerous to walk in & still a bit slippery even after drying my feet off with a pool towel. ?
Wondering if it’s just me or maybe the sandals are a bit differently from previous years.
