Oh goodness, you guys! You made me cry yesterday! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the love, support and encouragement. We met with Ashby’s newest of the new doctors yesterday and have started a new (aggressive ) treatment plan to make sure our sweet Ashby stays safe and healthy. It’s a learning curve, and she’s not thrilled about it…but I feel better and at peace with how proactive everyone is being. I’ll keep you updated, but I really just wanted to say thank you right now. You are all such a blessing to my family.
Okay, let’s talk about something super light and frivolous…like the random stuff we’ve been buying on Amazon lately. From flour to coffee, we’ve been Prime-ing all sorts of randomness!
I bought this prayer journal for my ‘tween but honestly, I think girls as young as Ashby or as old as teenagers could really use this prayer journal.
I’m always adding our favorite g-free flour to my Amazon cart!
My girls will spend HOURS using this string to make things. They’ll make bracelets, anklets, braids to hand on their water bottles…the sky is the limit. This is great for Ashby’s dexterity, but I would say that K uses it even more. They’ll take it to Smith’s baseball games and sit around with their friends making “jewelry” for hours.
My denim shorts are an Amazon find! I’ve already washed and re-worn them three times and they’re perfect! They come in many other styles as well.
And then how cute is this romper??? I loved it so much…
…that I bought it twice! It’s going to make a great pool coverup!
Andrew bought this iPad case for his iPad and has not stopped talking about how much he loves it. Hahaha! I mean seriously, he loves it.
Ashby loves math and is always asking us to quiz her on her multiplication and division. We use these flash cards a lot around here. The other day, Bowen was over and they took them out on the driveway with a bag of Cheetos and were quizzing each other…now, when I pull them out to quiz her, I smile because pretty much each card has a smudgy Cheeto fingerprint on it. Hahaha! Sweet second graders 🙂 .
After we got back from Miami, Andrew bought this so that, in the future, when he’s in the pool or ocean, his sunglasses won’t fall off into the water. It comes in a lot of colors!
Thanks to you guys, I bought this box of assorted Starbucks K-Cups! So many of you suggested the Toasted Graham which I LOVE!! They’re all really good though 🙂 .
The men in my house LOVE these little skip balls in the pool. The girls like them too, but Andrew and Smith are crazy about them. They’re great because they’re small and super light, so it’s easy to throw them in the pool bag and take everywhere. They stay on top of the water too which makes them perfect for the pool/ocean.
That’s this month’s Amazon Lately!
Don’t forget, I keep one big running list of all of my Amazon faves in one place! You can see them all right HERE PLUS, I also have my TOP TEN AMAZON FINDS OF 2020 right HERE.
I’ll see you guys back here tomorrow for Let’s Look! Have the best Tuesday!! xx

Ooohh a sunglasses strap is genius! I lose a pair every year when playing with my kids in the ocean (I usually buy cheap ones so I don’t care too much). I wrote a post about some of my recent Amazon purchases here if you want to check it out:

I am cracking up!!! I looked at the skip balls to take them to the Beach Club this summer and I thought they said by “Andrew Shull” on them and, for a split second, I was like cool! She didn’t even mention they’re Andrews?! But then I looked closer and they say Armour Shell LOLOLOL.
Mix and Match Mama says
That is SO funny because Andrew Shull is obsessed with them!

Ashby is in second grade and already doing division? Wow. My second grader hasn’t learned that yet.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! My older two didn’t learn it in second grade either, but Ashby’s class is learning it this year.

Hi Shay – where did you get Ashby’s orange/pink striped shirt in the 1st picture? Love it! I get a kick out of her and all her jewelry. Always so cute!!! Random note – after reading your vacuum review I put a bug in my kids ear to let my husband know I wanted the Dyson Animal 8 for my b-day. We love it! It’s so easy and quick. Even my husband was impressed! Thanks for the suggestion. Have a great Tuesday.

You can find the organic Namaste flour at some Costco stores and a big pack of 4 of them at Costco online. Just fyi 🙂 Also, I’m loving your gf recipes. We’ve been living the life and adapting for 8 years.

I’m super impressed that Ashby does multiplication and division as a second grader! I teach third grade. ☺️
She is an inspiration for so many reasons! ??

Math is her jam!

Do you have the game 24 or Snap it Up? Snap it Up is more her age range but the 24 game actually has competitions. When we play as a family we make it easier for my youngest or play in teams.
Mix and Match Mama says
Googling that right now…

Oh! Thank you! It is SO OLD! I bet it’s at least 10 years old. I don’t remember where I bought it. Sorry!

The skip balls remind me of this gel-filled ball I used to have as a kid. Me and my BFF threw one in the (roaring) fireplace accidentally when we were “modeling” in the living room when we were like 8. We were using it as a prop and tossing it up in the air. Think Troop Beverly Hills fashion show with an emcee and everything. We were hot stuff. hahaha

I came to read this post, as always, because I love what you share and love the Amazon finds! But oh how happy my heart is this morning at the flood of memories this brought back! We have 3 kids, all grown now. Our youngest was so like your littles, attending so, so many events her older brother and sister were in. During these times she and her friends spent countless hours making bracelets! Our crowd was always so kind to them, asking for special requests for particular colors 🙂 and she loved sharing them with our friends/fans! What makes my heart even happier is we were just talking about this not so long ago and I found out that our oldest/her big brother still has some she made him. What started as a “keep busy” activity and a little project has turned into a beloved memory! Love, love, love reading of this busy time in your life – it’s such a treasured time. Thanks so much for sharing.
