Well, let’s be real…this year, Valentine’s Day is on a Monday, so I can promise you that Andrew and I will celebrating at home instead of a restaurant. Honestly though? I’m okay with that! We’ll have on our comfy clothes, we’re be all settled in for the night and not have to bother with reservations, crowds or waiting. The only thing getting in our way? Those four kiddos who will also want to partake in our Valentine’s dinner 😉 .
I asked Andrew what his ultimate “stay in and have a nice dinner” menu would be and this is what he selected!
Whether you make this for Valentine’s Day or any other day, I hope you enjoy it too!
Happy (almost!) Valentine’s Day! xx
I gave Andrew my Valentine’s Day cocktail choices and he picked our Cupid’s Cocktail! This is super simple to make (only three ingredients!) and totally delish!
Andrew and I love a board on date night! If you want to see what we put on our typical charcuterie board, click HERE. That plus a drink and we’re all set for a great time!
Who doesn’t love a Caprese Salad? It’s our favorite salad to make! Since tomatoes might not be in season where you live right now, use cherry tomatoes (sliced in half) instead! They’re almost always in season!
I share this recipe every year, but truly, our Bleu Cheese Baked Steaks simply cannot be topped!
If you’re not wanting steak this Valentine’s Day, try my Sausage & Vodka Pasta instead! I simply cannot rave about this meal enough! It is my favorite pasta recipe!!
And, of course, Andrew selected this for his Valentine’s Day dessert…
…my Valentine’s Chex Treats! These are crazy easy to make and the perfect way to end your special dinner.
From my cozy kitchen to yours, enjoy your Valentine’s dinner! xo

My hubby, teen daughter and I always have breakfast for dinner on Valentine’s Day! Our cocktail is mimosas. 🙂 But that steak recipe looks amazing and has me craving steak at 9:15am. Ha!

Why I have I never thought of this?! We love breakfast for dinners and my go to drink is a Mimosa. My husband says going out for dinner on Valentines is for rookies and I agree. We always do dinner at home and we are definitely having breakfast and mimosas. Thanks for the idea!!

That all looks delicious! We love a good steak at home. It’s so much better than restaurant steak. I think we’re going to do a simple cheese and chocolate fondue for one meal (more like dips). You’ve inspired me for charcuterie as the other! We definitely do more of a family affair on Valentine’s Day. Our anniversary is a couple weeks after, so that’s when we try to sneak in a date.
