You guys, I spent waaaaaaaay too long on this post.
I studied my chili recipes like you were asking me to pick my favorite child.
Ha! It was SO HARD FOR ME TO DECIDE!!!!!
Today, I’m sharing (in order!) my TOP 10 CHILI RECIPES!
This wasn’t originally on the docket for the day, but we had winter weather blow in on Wednesday and throw a wrench in our week, and when it blew in, all of my peeps asked me to make chili for dinner. I pulled up my recipes (I have SO MANY) and started looking through them all. They’re all kind of similar but all unique. They’re all really easy and SUPER DELISH! As I was deciding, I thought it might be fun to pick my TOP 10 to share with you. It ended up not being fun. It ended up being me looking at recipes for far too long trying to decide 😉 .
The winner, my #1 choice, was in fact the one I made on Wednesday night because well, it’s just our fave. That being said, we truly do make and love each of these.
So, from my cozy kitchen to yours, grab some beans, some spices and of course, onions and cheese and whip up chili for dinner tonight.
Here are my TOP 10 CHILI RECIPES!
If you haven’t made my Cincinnati Chili recipe, you must! It’s a cross between chili and spaghetti…but the cheddar cheese and raw onions on top is really what puts it over the top for me!
My Cajun Chicken Chili is one of THE MOST EMAILED RECIPES I RECEIVE! I get more feedback on this one than any of the others. It’s super simple and crazy delicious. From neighbors to friends and all of you out there too, this slow cooker supper is a fave for your family and mine!
Mmmmmm! My Slow Cooker Chili Mac is a bowl full of goodness. I promise you, this one will be on repeat at your house too!
You knew my Buffalo Chicken Chili would make the Top 10! Buffalo sauce included in an easy slow cooker chili? Yes, please!!!
Agh! Okay, my Pulled Pork Chili is by far one of my very faves. I would have ranked it much, much, much higher than #6 had it been…a little easier. This recipe is FULL OF FLAVOR and one your family (or guests!) will love, it just takes a bit longer to prepare because it includes beef, sausage and pork. A little more effort but totally worth it!
Friends, have you made my Sausage & Lentil Chili?! If you don’t normally cook with lentils, do not be scared! They’re super easy to use for quick suppers and provide so much deliciousness. You will absolutely love this recipe!
I don’t care if you don’t love pumpkin bread or pumpkin cookies or pumpkin pie…I do not care. You will LOVE MY PUMPKIN CHILI!! It was easy for me to name my Top 4 and without a doubt, this recipe belonged there.
Everyone needs an easy White Chicken Chili recipe. This one here always hits the spot! It was an easy choice for #3! I just realized that I first published this post on…my 31st birthday. Wow! I wish I could go back and hug that girl’s neck. She had no idea about the two big adventures heading her way (a.k.a. Ashby and Madeley!).
This was a no brainer. I think Andrew and the kids would be perfectly fine if I served this meal at least once a week. My Brisket Chili is one that I make often for dinner guests and always get compliments when dinner is over. It’s the kind of chili recipe your girlfriends will ask you to jot down for them time and time again. We absolutely love this one!
But, of course, our staple chili recipe and most beloved is…my Sweet Corn Chili. It’s the one we enjoyed on Wednesday night. A classic. A staple. The perfect chili.
Happy weekend, friends! I hope you enjoy a delicious bowl of chili! xx

Your sweet corn chili is my #1 too! I’m going to add it to my list for my parents’ visit.

I’m going to throw something controversial out there – what makes a chili a chili? I would argue tomato base and beans are required, and typically a chili spice. Although I know some regions do not put beans in chili, so that one may be optional. However that would mean a few of your recipes do not qualify. The chicken ones would likely be categorized as a stew, not chili.

I think if you add the word chili to it, it becomes a chili 😉 .
