Happy Tuesday, friends!
We have had the BEST time in Rhode Island and Massachusetts these last few days, but today, we’re heading home.
I got my happy dose of foliage over the weekend.
Yummy New England food.
Time with some of my favorite people.
And some actual fall weather.
Needless to say, I am one happy mama right now 🙂 .
Last week, I dropped Mades off at school, grabbed a coffee from Starbucks and headed to my happy place…
…should you be heading to Trader Joe’s sometime soon too, I have a little Fall Haul for you.
Spoiler alert, there is A LOT of pumpkin goodness below 🙂 .
I bought these for adding to baked goods. From deviled eggs to pinwheels, muffins and pies, what isn’t better with some pecan pieces added in…especially this time of year?!
These are always a favorite at our house!
Yes, I bought these again, but they’re so good AND so fun for dinner this time of year! You can use them for a million things like…
Well these are absolutely delicious! A few of these with a cup of coffee in the afternoon, and I’m one happy fall girl.
Andrew was particularly excited when I brought these home again. These are so delish on a charcuterie board.
Sheaffer told me to buy these, and I’m so glad I did because they were a hit! You find these on the dried fruit aisle (not the chip aisle), and I love them because they’re crisp and crunchy without being too tough (as many dried apples are way too tough!).
Smith was particularly happy for Yankee to have one. All four dogs seem to like them.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…Trader Joe’s has the CUTEST and most affordable greeting cards. I pick some up every single time I go.
Sheaffer also told me to pick this up, and it was really easy to pull out and add to meals and/or give my kiddos as a snack.
Yes and yes! I almost always buy everything I need for charcuterie boards at Trader Joe’s.
I typically make my pesto homemade, but this time, I bought a jar and thought it was really, really good.
For lunchboxes…
…and because they’re seasonal and absolutely delicious!
I found these in the refrigerated section, and Ashby ate them up. I also found…
…these there as well!
I mean, HOW CUTE?!
I bought these just for fun, and we pulled them out one night after dinner. They were really good!
I bought this for the littles to do with their grandparents over the weekend. From what I hear, it was a success!
And finally…
…she was too pretty not to pass up 😉 .
Don’t forget, you can catch…
…my SEPTEMBER HAUL with lots of fall goodness too!
If I missed anything, please comment and share! I will go back later this week and would love to grab any extra items you think we need.
Alright, I’m heading back to Texas today and will see you from there tomorrow.
Have a wonderful Tuesday! xx

I wish my Trader Joe’s was closer. So many tempting things!

Hi Shay, I was wondering why Kensington picked those particular cities to visit. What did she like about them? What was so fun that you all did? At 16, she wouldn’t have rather gone to Aruba, Cabo, LA?
Mix and Match Mama says
So many questions! She wanted to visit the Conjuring House and Salem in particular and she wanted colder weather and leaves. She is a chip off the old block 🙂 .
Polly Pover says
She needs to check out the fantastic New England colleges!
Superwomen says
O wish they would open Trader Joe’s in North Dartmouth Massachusetts we have plenty of Empty stores
Alyssa says
The pumpkin ginger hold the cones are so good, pumpkin frozen waffles, and I love their leaf shaped tortilla chips. I’ll admit I’m already looking forward to the peppermint bark pretzels they have.
Kristen says
Hope you had a great time in New England! Can’t wait to read the post and I need to know how your scored a rez to Contessa!, lol!!!!

On Resi! Maybe it wasn’t hard because it was a Monday night??? They said you could make them 30 days out, so I put a reminder on my calendar and did it exactly 30 days out. It was AMAZING!!
Kathy says
Happy October! Isn’t it all beautiful?
Jess says
These look wonderful! If you haven’t checked out the pumpkin cheesecake croissants or the butternut squash lasagna, both are completely worth it!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t tried any of these! THANK YOU!!
Faith Kapp says
They really do have the cutest cards! I hope to make a trip soon. It’s not far, it’s just not the direction. I typically have to go in. I’m definitely going to get those apple chips.

my daughter is obsessed with the TJ pumpkin butter on her toast each morning!
Kay says
I panic when TJ’s runs out of those mint dog bones!!! I don’t know if your store carries them (I’m in MA) but they also had THE cutest frosted dog Halloween cookies. They are adorable.
Glad you got a Fall-scape. There are plenty of things I can complain about in New England, but I do think we have THE BEST FALL there is.
Mix and Match Mama says
I need to find those dog cookies. I am positive my dogs love fall most of all 🙂 .
Kacey says
I keep forgetting to grab that cute pasta!! Adding to my list immediately!
Ruby H says
My doctors office is next door to TJ’s but it’s across town and traffic is horrible! Besides all the yummy foods, their fresh flowers are gorgeous and a few always ends up in my cart!
Brooke says
I am so jealous of people that have a Trader Joe’s near by. We did get a Costco less than 2 years ago though so happy for that!

The walnut gouda sounds delicious as do the apple chips! Trader Joe’s is about a 35 minute drive for me and I am hoping to make it this weekend. I am adding these to my list.
Holly C. says
TJ hauls are the best…just magical!!!
Cheriese says
Perfect timing. Our new Trader Joe’s in Coppell opens tomorrow! No more driving to Southlake to their store every week!
Jodi says
You should try the Maple ginger cookie ice cream. I would have never picked it up if they hadn’t been sampling it. Very good.
Katie says
Have you tried the Enchanted Jangle?? It’s so good!
Mix and Match Mama says
I’ve seen it, but I’ve never purchased it. I need to add it to my cart!
Laura says
I feel like I can’t find anything in Trader Joe’s, so your posts help me so much!
Mix and Match Mama says
I used to feel that way too, but now, the more I go in there on a regular basis, the easier it is to get familiar with “their way” of doing things. I do think there is a learning curve!
Kay says
I also think it’s about the ages of your kids if you’re a parent! I used to only go to TJ’s for parties I threw…our annual, neighborhood holiday party for example. But once all three of my kids became teens, and we got the fabulous air fryer Shay recommended!, we started finding a million things there. My kids love the sushi, salads and prepared sandwiches for school lunch. I always keep little pizzas and frozen apps on hand for after school snacks. I think TJ’s has more in the category of “Easy for teens” as opposed to the regular grocery store. Plus their seasonal stuff is super fun.
Stephanie Snyder says
So much fall happiness! Love!
Sheaffer says
So I’ve started taking a shredded rotisserie chicken, tossing it with the guacasalsa (and adding some onion, cilantro, and pepperjack cheese), and then using the mixture for shredded chicken tacos. YUM!
Amy says
I am running out today to pick up some of the pumpkin overnight oats and greek yogurt! My daughter and I love all things pumpkin, I wish they carried them all year!
Anneka says
That pumpkin yogurt looks amazing! I’m also very invested in tge TJ haul posts for someone who doesn’t have a TJ nearby. But I love them! 😂
Paula McKaughan says
I mentioned we visited your TJ’s (Sat 09/28 to be exact) and I bought a bundle of the hydrangeas for I think $6 and would you know, they’re still thriving on my island!!???!! I bought the pumpkin pasta and basil pesto to add some holiday magic to one of our easy family recipes. I can’t wait to go back!! 🙂
Elizabeth Valenta says
That walnut gouda is already gone here. YUM. We also tried an apple crumble danish and hello! Warm with coffee on Sunday…YES. Also, side note, cute gifting is Witches’ Brew-red wine with spices added. Can’t wait to share it with my friends at the fall party this Saturday. Thanks again for passing on this fun girlfriends fall party idea. My girls have loved it each year.
Kathy says
Have any of you continued to eat Gluten-free?
Mix and Match Mama says
We are all eating gluten now.
Karen in Virginia says
I blame this post (not really)😊…because I was at our TJ’s and they had only two boxes of those chocolate donut holes left. I told my fiance that we have to try them because Shay said they are so good. OMG. They are better than any donut holes I’ve tasted. Craving one now. And we ate almost the entire box in one sitting because they’re so tiny! Right?!
~B~ says
The pumpkin protein powder was just what I needed to inspire me to try Clean Simple Eats. I just saw it in our local Scheels and almost bought some – now it’s early Saturday morning and I’m regretting not getting some to try for breakfast later. Off to check out the website I go! Happy fall break!
~B~ says
How cute are those sprinkles?? Two of our kids share fall birthdays – and for our families we used to do a combined Halloween birthday party. Even though it’s been so many years ago, that’s right where my heart went when I saw those! So many cute cupcakes and cakes we could have used those for! Cannot wait to see a review of your trip out east if you share one. We hope to take an east, fall trip in the next year or two. Happy fall!
Marybeth says
Those ranch cashews are amazing! I put them on a charcuterie board for my office and they were a huge hit!
Nicole says
I love the pico to add to taco bowls, they have the cutest bottles of wine, the salad kits are my fave, my kids love the mini corns in the product section, I love all the assortments of veggies for roasting! The seasonal dog treats are great! I love the cards, hand soaps, and weird – but the napkins are great! I love all the dry roasted, salted nuts and dried mango, my daughter loves the freeze dried strawberries! My kids always ask for the frozen Gorgonzola gnocchi, vanilla meringues, and mini ice cream cones. The frozen lobster shrimp is a must! Frozen jasmine rice, and the candied jalapeños – always. What else? 😂 My kids love the sparkling watermelon, strawberry and pineapple juices too! The brioche bread and weird – but the deli meats! Ingredients are only turkey, chicken and salt. Chicken bone broth is a great price! Always grab a garlic salt too! Love TJ’s!!!
Leslie says
You have to try their Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds. So yummy sprinkled on top of yogurt!
Beth Graves says
Oh how I miss Trader Joe’s since I moved to AL from Nashville to take care of my mom. I am so honored to take care of her in this season of her life but I am back in my small-ish hometown after 29 years and I sure do miss all that Nashville offers. Nearest Trader Joe’s now is 70 miles away! I love Fall and I always enjoy hearing your excitement about it!
Marisa Patel says
The pumpkin streusel muffins are my favorite!!!!! I am going to give the overnight oats a try, they sound like are delicious!!!
Ashley says
I know I’m late to the party, but you MUST try the pumpkin spice mini ice cream cones before TJ’s fall stuff is gone. They are the perfect little treat and SO GOOD!!
