Happy What’s Up Wednesday!
You guys, the month of March has freakishly flown by. Why did February feel like it had 75 days and yet March flew by this year? Am I alone here? Did you think this too? It went by crazy fast.
Okay, as always, on the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and I host this little linky party where we share what’s going on with us right now. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
Here we go…
Honestly, meal planning this week has been a bit of a post-spring break blur, but I do I have one lunch to share…
I know, I know, I know, this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but a very quick (and high protein) lunch for me is four hard boiled eggs with four sausage balls (I keep them in the freezer and then just microwave them when I’m ready to eat) with half an avocado. It’s a very easy and filling lunch for me on busy week days.
This pic was on my Time Hop and geez, it melted my heart. Where did that precious three year old go?! Gosh, this feels like it was yesterday. One minute, he’s this and the next…
…he’s this.
Those little kids don’t keep, y’all.
Spring sprung, and I immediately pulled out my pillows for the backyard…
…I took my little sidekick and pups outback, and we picked through the pillows that had seen better days and added a few more to freshen things up.
SOLID NAVY, RED STRIPE, NAVY STRIPE, SOLID RED
Because indoor/outdoor pillows on sale make us happy 🙂 .
Speaking of happy…
…carrying our precious (and a little lazy) dog home from school when we’re enjoying our outside time right now makes us happy too.
If you’re also gearing up for backyard time, don’t forget…
…my MARINA OUTDOOR PATIO TEAK ARMCHAIRS (available in other colors too!) are currently 66% off! I ordered our cushions in white, but the PATIO TEAK ARMCHAIRS come in other colors too.
Without the cushions…
…and with!
Right now, OUR CERAMIC ACCENT STOOL is on sale too!
THIS STOOL is the perfect spot for coffee and my book. THESE CHAIRS are at a crazy, crazy good price right now at 66% off!
This CERAMIC STOOL (in other colors too!) is also on sale right now too!
Well, I’m officially ruined for the remainder of the school year.
After 8 days in paradise with a relaxed schedule and so much family time, per usual, I’m having a hard time with re-entry back into the real world.
Spring Break kills me every.single.year. I’m doing just fine being a responsible, carpool driving, paper signing, lunch making mom and then that darn week turns me into “why can’t it be summer?” mom.
We had the best, best, best time last week. Pics to come. I just love family time.
Speaking of Spring Break ruining me…
I’ll just leave this right here. 😉
It is Opening Day Week for the MLB, and this girl is so so excited about the Red Sox being back for a brand new season.
…I was able to go to Fenway for Opening Day with my dad which was SO SO COOL…
We had the BEST time last year!
There is just something so so sweet about turning on the TV and watching live baseball. I am GIDDY about this new season!
It’s our WELLNESS WEDNESDAY post today as well and…
…I am sharing a book that you all should read. It is SO good!
Today, I am sharing Die with Zero HERE on today’s post. You guys, Andrew read it last week, and when he was done, he closed his Kindle and bought 20 copies to give his friends. I’m actually going to give some away today too on THIS POST. It’s so good. So, so good!
The sounds of a quiet office and four snoring dogs.
March has been a big ole mash up of things I’m wearing…
…of course, I’ve been wearing MY SLIPPERS every single day!
MY WHITE HENLEY with MY JEANS was an easy “transition to spring” outfit.
Just wait until you see our vacation pics, I wore MY TKEES every single day. They were the vacation MVP!
I love MY TEXTURED V-NECK with MY JEANS…
…and my CREAM DENIM MOTO JACKET!
I wore a version of this dress THREE TIMES on vacation. I wore the NAVY AND WHITE STRIPE on the flight to St. Thomas, THE RED VERSION to dinner one night and then the black version (from last year) on the flight home.
MY SHORTS + TANK were on repeat in the Caribbean last week!
And…
…I wore this super cute ROMPER several times this month. It even went to the Caribbean with me!
This month, I loved THIS TEE for working out with THESE “DUPE” SHORTS too.
They come in several other color choices, are fully lined and have a zipper pocket. Plus, they’re under $20!
PAJAMAS for the win this month! Target has the best pj selection! I know, I know I know that I’ve shared them with you several times before, but the quality and the comfort is crazy good especially for the price. These are only $25!
THIS SET was easy to pull on and wear in March! I am a big fan of my SNEAKERS this month too!
In case you missed it, this week…
…you can catch my Circle Week SPRING BASICS on sale plus…
…my round up of SPRING SHOES on sale and…
…SPRING DRESSES too!
We have a very lowkey weekend ahead…
…other than watching our girl play soccer, we do not have much on the calendar.
Our annual…
…family Easter party in the backyard 🙂 .
I LOVE when Easter is later in April. It always confuses me when it’s in March.
Next month, we are going to heat up the pool, scatter the eggs and have the family over for some backyard fun.
And perhaps my #1 Amazon MVP was just as amazing this go around…
…MY FAVORITE BEACH BAG is under $13 and ALWAYS my favorite Spring Break partner!
That wraps up What’s Up Wednesday for March! If you blogged along with us, please make sure you link up below too.
I hope you all had a wonderful month! I’ll be back here tomorrow. See you then! xx

Pajamas and slippers are always my weakness. Added these to my cart for both my daughter and myself. I think I will add them to her Easter basket(: Thanks!

Shay I think so often of how you say babies don’t keep! Soaking in these toddlers days and soon to be newborn days and nights! That time is just so precious!
Sheaffer says
So much great stuff packed into one post, BUT THAT SPRING SHOE COLLAGE! So many adorable options!

So looking forward to your St. Thomas recap as visiting there and St. Johns was one of our favorite vacations! We stayed at the Frenchman’s Reef about a year before the hurricanes destroyed it, and it is on my bucket list to return to the renovated new hotels someday. Missed reading your blog while you were away, but enjoyed following on IG. Have a great rest of your week!

I always love your book recommendations, and you have me intrigued by this one. Would love the opportunity to read it.

Have you heard of Pluck Seasoning? Super random, but when I saw your hard boiled eggs it made me think of it. I love adding this seasoning to practically anything and everything, but it’s really good on eggs! It’s a blend of organic spices, herbs, and grass fed beef organs so it is very healthy for you (and you can’t taste the organ meat flavor at all!) My husband and I love the original flavor and zesty garlic. You can check it out at eatpluck.com 🙂

I have not heard of this. It sounds delish though!!

Your trip looked amazing, can’t wait to hear all about it. I also host Easter at my house and although my family lovingly encouraged me to give it up this year (with a newborn), I refused 🙂 it makes me too happy. Have a good week!
Erika Slaughter says
The Slaughter’s Rangers open up with your Red Sox! I totally forgot and one of the boys asked me if we were having our typical GAME DAY food in honor of Opening Day. EEK!
Kelli W says
IFFFF you can be happy for the enemy (ha!), the Cubs played two exhibition games and then two early season games in Japan and OH MY GOODNESS it was so fun to watch, see the energy of the fans and see the Pokemon, etc. collabs with MLB. All that to say – yay for baseball! I totally get your love for the Red Sox, mine’s just directed at the Cubs. 😉 Love that you can enjoy it with your dad. I miss mine and would LOVE to have a chance to see a game with him!! Thank you for your work on the blog! You always give good inspiration. 🙂

They did! How awesome is that?!

Is the accent table on your LTK? The link here doesn’t work for me.
Mix and Match Mama says
Probably! I just opened both links though and they worked. You might want to try again!
Beverly says
Please, please, please in addition to the links would you please list the brand names. of all these great finds. I am unable to open any of your links due to safesearch and if I knew the brands names I could google and find them same great things.
Thank you. You know of so many amazing great finds and sadly I cannot find them without the name.

I am looking to order the red shorts & it says they run small & to size up. Did you find that true? – Also, I was so sorry to hear about your brother & his dog attacking him. Such a scary thing for you all. Never picture our “best friends “ doing that. Hoping he has a quick recovery.
Mix and Match Mama says
I did not find that to be true. I did not size up. And thank you. xx
Jeanette says
Can’t wait to hear all about your trip! I remember it being so hard (even not going anywhere), to get back in the groove after Spring Break.
