Happy Wednesday, friends!
Well goodness, we sure loved Budapest 🙂 .
Yesterday, I shared PART ONE: ARRIVAL which means today, I have PART TWO!
Grab yourself a peppermint mocha and settle in…it was a really fun first full day in Budapest, Hungary…

Andrew and I were up and at ’em early and ready to go. It was cold outside, so I wore MY SWEATER (on sale!), FAVORITE BLACK JEANS and CHELSEA BOOTS for a day of walking and site seeing.
We headed off for a morning strolling Budapest…

They were setting up the Christmas markets while we were there, and so many of the shop windows were decked for the holidays. It made me so happy!

I loved watching them set up the stalls for the Christmas markets. Everything felt so festive!

Budapest, you are beautiful…

We stopped for lunch and sat under the heaters outside at this cute restaurant…

We enjoyed a delicious meal before it was time to head off and meet our tour guide…

…we had a four hour city tour, and it was SO good! Our guide had a car and driver with her, so we were able to cover a lot of ground. We visited both the Buda and the Pest sides of town.
Here are some pics…

Because there are not skyscrapers in Budapest, the skyline is uninterrupted and absolutely stunning. The city is especially gorgeous with the Danube flowing through it.

We walked, stopped, learned, and visited so many places in the city…

Everything was just so FALL!

Our tour ended in the Jewish Quarter at one of the “ruin bars”…

…which was such a unique experience too.
After a full day of walking and exploring, we said goodbye to our guide, freshened up at the hotel, and headed over and up to…

…360 Bar which had spectacular views…

…from the rooftop overlooking Budapest…

So fun, right?!
We wrapped up our night…

…enjoying a delicious dinner at Beerstro 14…

…traditional goulash?! Yes, please! Delicious!
We finished dinner, walked back to our hotel and watched The Holiday on Andrew’s iPad before bed.
It was just the loveliest day walking and exploring Budapest. We learned so much, ate so much, and enjoyed every single minute of this amazing city.
Okay, since it’s Wednesday, I’m also sharing out weekly wellness post! Today, I have my HEALTHY HOLIDAY CHECKLIST: 2025 EDITION for you, so make sure you check out that post too.
I’m off to enjoy another great day at Walt Disney World with my team today. I hope you have a magical Wednesday too! I’ll see you tomorrow! xx

Truly! Andrew and I kept talking about it while we were there, and right now, we would say it’s our third favorite European city (after London and Paris). It’s absolutely stunning.

We are taking our (adult) girls to Disney in December and I CANNOT WAIT! We took them when they were younger but to experience Disney as adults? Amazing.

Some careful planning. Due to Andrew’s torn bicep and surgery, we had to move Budapest. They weren’t meant to be this close together.

Your pictures of the city are wonderful. The thing I noticed is no graffiti. So many European cities are covered in it. Budapest is such a beautiful place.
