Happy Thanksgiving Shay. I wanted to reach out today and let you know a piece of advice you shared last year has been a huge blessing in my life. The Bible Recap. At 70 years of age I am learning and loving my way through. I became a Christian at Bible Camp at 13. ( baptized by same man that baptized my mom in her youth). Seated in Sunday School as well in Church pews through the years I picked up verses here and there but never “ understood”….. not really. The OT and NT never made connections that were clear to me. Now I am just every AM (4:30AM here in Bloomfield , MI.), up and in the word with zeal. I love my time with God’s word . But…. It doesn’t stop there. My personal focus transformed.
I lost my Dog in August and I still am in grieving mode. I know he is with Jesus . I know he is getting so much love and his days are no longer with Diabetes. I will reunite with him when the Lord calls me home. The Recap has helped me through this. I have done many devotionals but this one…. It is special. I plan to repeat in 2026. Building on and learning on. So I want to say a huge Thank you . Let you know I added you to my ever growing list of things I am grateful for this Thanksgiving 2025. Sending lots of Love and good wishes your way to you and your beautiful family. I so enjoy your blog . You are so uplifting and honest and positive.
God Bless You. Pat pats to your sweet pups rom me. Thank you.
