Happy FRIDAY, friends!
I hope you have had the BEST BEST week!
As always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika and sharing my FRIDAY FAVES!
Guess what tomorrow is?!

It’s THIS GUY’S BIRTHDAY!
We plan on celebrating him big time this weekend.
Goodness, I am so thankful for my dad!!

Here are some other “first week of March” favorite things…

Last Friday, I was in Anthropologie and heard this voice that sounded so familiar. I looked up from the mug I was admiring and said “Fancy Ashley?”…

…AND IT WAS!!
You guys, I have been friends with Ashley for about FIFTEEN YEARS, and this was the very first time I ever met her in person.
We are both OG bloggers. When we first met, she lived in California, and we even worked for a bit on a co-shared blog together. She now lives in Florida which is why I was SHOCKED to see her standing in the Anthro 15 minutes from my house. After years of chatting on the phone, texting, and even Zoom-ing with her, it was so so so good to actually get to hug her. We have kiddos the same ages, and it just MADE MY DAY to see her. She could not have been more precious in person. I was just so happy for this accidental blessing.
Other highlights from the week…

…I snapped a pic of this girlie on her 100th day of school! They were tasked with making a shirt to celebrate, and nothing pleases Mades more than pulling out the hot glue gun. She was oh so excited to head to school with 100 little pompoms on her tee.
This week…

…I also got to be “snack mom” again at her school. I volunteer for this often because allllll of the kiddos get excited when the snack mom shows up and they can buy treats. This girly was extra extra happy to see the snack mom.
On Wednesday, I went into Starbucks and they had new coconut concoctions for spring. As soon as I saw this one…

…I knew I had to bring my Ashby back. Ashby and I both LOVE coconut, so we had an early morning coffee date before school on Thursday. She tried this new Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato and loved it!
Spring has started to pop up around McKinney…

…and it has really put a pep in my step. I’ve shared this before, but I used to not be “into” spring, but now, I have really just found so many things to love about it. I enjoy winter, but goodness, I am ready for some SPRING!
And…

…in one of Mades’ electives, they made homemade candles. She was SO proud to bring home her candle. I asked her if she wanted to put it in her room and she said, “No, it needs to be in the kitchen so everyone can enjoy it”. Ha! Sweet girl, we LOVE it! The scent is “pink sugar” which smells like vanilla.

You guys, this was on the Mix and Match Travel Agency Instagram this week, and it was CERTAINLY a fave…

I LOVE it when we have clients book back to back sailings! Doing this can create the most epic adventures.
This couple took two cruises back to back which means that they were able to explore so many places all from the comfort of the same ship…

…they traveled to places like Sydney, Singapore, Bali, Cairns, Tasmania, Melbourne, New Zealand…

…and SO MANY MORE amazing places.

A luxury cruise liner and ports of call to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations? Yes, please! An absolute FAVORITE of mine! If you are interested, we can help you too! Contact us HERE for more information!

I stopped into Nantucket Looms earlier this week…

…to pick up new placemats and napkins for my kitchen table in McKinney. I’ve blogged about this shop before, but they make these items (and more!) there on the second floor of their store…

Just a little bit of Nantucket back in McKinney…

…certainly a favorite of mine!

One of my faves is always THE TOP TEN each month!

Happy Birthday to your dad! Definitely ready for spring here and the time change. One thing I could do without is hail! Seems like we get it every year in the spring and it’s not fun hearing it on my metal roof! 😬

HBD to your sweet dad! 🥳 I just had to say that I’m glad I took your advice and bought the CR shampoo, conditioner and hair serum. I definitely have seen a huge improvement in my hair. 🙂
Stephanie Thomas says
I love the CR conditioner also; however, can you please tell me how you get the last inch of product out of the bottom of the container for use??? I have gone through 5 bottles and cannot find the right technique to get the full container used up! The last inch seems to sit down at the bottom and not come up through the pump. Thoughts???
Mix and Match Mama says
I legit just opened my most recent CR purchase (two shampoos and two conditioners) that was just delivered to my door before I walked up to my office to check blog comments. Good timing! I take the pump off and just turn the bottle upside down and get it out that way. I tap the end of the bottle and it comes right out into my palm!
