Happy FRIDAY, friends!
I hope you have all had the best week! This week has gone by in a blur…but I am so so excited for our final summer weekend (school starts next week!). Tonight, we are going to dinner to celebrate both of our besties’ birthdays…and then, we get to hang out with Tab and Erika on Saturday night again because we have a football thing to attend together. A double dose of the Slaughters is always a great weekend 🙂 .

Yesterday, we went for her cap and gown photos, and my mama heart about exploded.
I can already tell that this is going to be a really special and FUN year for us all.

…100 WAYS TO BE THAT GIRL as I always find it (and all of her books!) so inspiring, so encouraging, and so easy to actually take her ideas and weave them into real life. She is for sure one of my favorite authors. Every book is about living your best, most positive, most fulfilling life.
Well friends, I just started her latest book…
…LIFE IS GOOD which she just released this summer. Last fall, Fiona was diagnosed with breast cancer, and this book is about her journey. Leave it to Fiona Ferris to write such a beautiful book about such a hard time in her life. I’m only about a third of the way through, but it’s raw and real and very transparent while also being funny and positive and full of joy. I’ve always loved her books, but this one is extra special. Extra extra special.
