CONGRATULATIONS, Kari!! I emailed you early this morning. Please email me back ASAP to claim your prize!
Now, it’s time for DAY 3 OF OUR FIVE DAYS OF FABULOUS GIVEAWAY and today’s prize is perfect for the holiday season because…
…we’re giving away this amazing luggage!!!
Guys!! I am so excited about this!!! I heard Sheaffer talk about this luggage for such a long time, so I finally decided to get a piece for myself, and it’s fantastic!! I took mine to Boston with my girlfriends and loved how deceivingly light it is, how much it holds and I loved that it has two compartments which keep everything nice and tidy and not sliding around (plus, it gives you more room). Sheaffer has some great pics of her luggage that I wanted to show you too…
See? Two compartments with a zippered area in between for even more storage!
Everything fits in there nice and neat, it zips up and off you go. There are three sizes of this luggage and I bought the largest one. Guess what though? TODAY all three sizes are 60% off.
YES!
SIXTY!!!!
TODAY!!
I mean…is that amazing or what?! For our contest, one winner and her friend will each win $700 to buy luggage. Woohoo!! Good luck!!!!!
To enter to win, all you have to do is enter the Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post. The winner will be announced TOMORROW when a new giveaway is announced. Winners, you have 48 hours to claim your prize before we pick someone else. This contest is only valid for US residents with US mailing addresses.
Now, let’s take a little look at…
…LET’S LOOK!!!
Once a month, Erika and I host a link up where we “look” at little aspects of our lives, and today is the last one for the entire year!
What? What? YES!!
Here’s what we’ve been “looking” at so far this year…
In January, we looked at the coziest spots in our house
In February, we looked at our favorite reads
In March, we looked at the people in our family!
In April, we looked at our pantries!
In May, we looked at our favorite #OOTD
In June, we looked inside our suitcase
In July, we looked at a day in the life of us.
In August, we looked at shows to binge watch.
In September, we looked at our calendar.
In October, we looked at our favorite fall recipes.
In November, we looked at our entertaining ideas.
And today, we’re looking at our gift wrapping stations!
Ha! Clearly, when Erika and I came up with this topic last December, I was in a better place when it came to gift wrapping. I think I was going to create a great space that made it easy for me to sit down and wrap (with everything at my fingertips), BUT that’s not happening this year. Basically, I have one big bag that I tote around with me that includes scissors, tape, gift tags, a sharpie, tissue paper and some small holiday bags. I turn on a Christmas movie (this week, when I wrapped, I watched The Family Stone) and sit on the floor with my wrapping paper and bag of stuff…and get to wrapping. Sigh. Super lame, super practical, super easy for me right now as I wrap gifts. So maybe next year, I’ll have a wrapping station all fixed up in my house?! Do you have any suggestions or ideas that makes wrapping gifts easier? Or simplified? Please, please, please share!!!
Don’t forget, if you want to enter today’s giveaway, you need to complete the Rafflecopter at the end of this post!!

With our daughter in college now, we spend a lot of time traveling to visit her. Our luggage has taken a beating! This set looks so clean and tidy and organized!! As for gift wrapping, this year I tried something different. I bought two large rolls of brown wrapping paper and then I bought wide, sparkly ribbons in a different color for each family member. It made wrapping for so many people much more simple!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Awe! I love that idea!!!
Tammy says
How are you doing with recovery? Are you doing okay with having to simplify things this Christmas? Has your diet changed not being as active? You always handle things with such grace! Praying for you!
Mix and Match Mama says
Right now, I feel like I’m doing pretty good! Thank you for checking on me!!
Alexis deZayas says
We have a wrapping station in a spare bedroom closet! There’s a table with built in wire drawers that pull out to separate tissue paper colors, pegs on the wall for ribbon/scissors/tape to hang on, a big bag for bags and boxes between the two columns of tissue paper baskets, and then spaces on each side for wrapping paper containers and more box storage! We also have shelves all around that we keep gifts on and a hanging rack to hang clothes or other gifts that need to be hung up! It’s super practical!
Mix and Match Mama says
That is genius!!!!
Sheaffer Sims says
BEST LUGGAGE EVER. AND 60% OFF? OH MY WORD!!!!!!
Lindsay Tolbert says
I hope recovery is going well! I’m loving following your posts and stories! No help in the wrapping department. I leave the wrapping to my husband! ? He’s a great gift wrapper!!
Nicole kieson says
Thank you

I like to watch a movie as I wrap too. I set up a temporary spot in our bedroom during Christmas season and keep everything handy but I have no spot in the house where I can set something up for good…. not until one of my boys moves out and I’m not in a hurry for that.
Erika Slaughter says
You know who has a really cool wrapping station? Marla!! We really should all just drop off our gifts and let her get to work.
Marla Slaughter says
I see this Erika!!! And I have to admit I love my art room!! Good try though!!!❤️
Lauren Hollis says
Love this white luggage.

Gail Killian says
The luggage is stunning. I’d love to replace our older stuff and donate to charity. Thank you for being a blessing to the world. I have a big laundry room and do all my wearing in there, built in desk and sometimes use the iron board.?
Kate says
You need to check out the elfa wrapping station from The Container Store! It stores all of my rolls, bags, ribbon, labels and tape/scissors/pens/etc. It’s super easy to roll out of my closet when I need it then hide it away when I don’t. Buy it when it’s on sale.
Narci says
Those suitcases are so cute! I kept on thinking how darling they were in Boston!
Emily says
Totally random but I would love to know how you make your product graphics (i.e. the cute box showing the luggage). Do you have a special software?
Mix and Match Mama says
A website called picmonkey.com 🙂

Each person gets their own wrapping paper. No tags needed. I just coordinate all the paper so it looks good. This year I have a lot of random paper I will have to use the leftovers.
When my kids were little Santa left his paper for the gifts by the tree. My daughter told me I had the same wrapping paper as Santa one year when she saw my stash. So I had to change my
plan after that.
Mix and Match Mama says
Loooooooove this!!!
Caty Fealko says
We love to travel and would love to win!

Love!!!

I learned my lesson after many years of last minute wrapping panic. So, I have a rule for myself that works great. I wrap every single day when I come home from shopping or when the UPS man comes. I don’t let myself buy anything else until the presents from the day before are wrapped. It makes Christmas so much more enjoyable and much less stressful!
Mix and Match Mama says
I need to embrace that philosophy!
Crystal Ranson says
This luggage is so pretty! Enjoy your nap ❤️❤️
Laci says
I always pull out my white folding table from Costco and use it to wrap my gifts, it’s not pretty but it does the job and it keeps me from pulling my hair out! Wrapping is not my favorite, but I love to have it all right there at my fingertips!

This year, I have what I call my “she shed”…it isn’t outside, but rather a converted spare bedroom. The boys have their “man cave” and I have my “she shed”. Part of the construction of this mini-sanctuary included a table for me do my regular office work, but also can function as an area for me to work on my random crafts and gift wrapping. I have a chair I can sit in or it’s high enough I can comfortably stand at as well. In my closet, I added a handful of hanging wrapping organizers. In one, I have my holiday paper and tissue, gift tags, etc., in another I have birthday and other paper. I have a bin full of gift bags organized by holiday. My inner-geek is super excited to get started wrapping this year in my new space!
I pray you’re healing well and getting plenty of rest during this season!
Mix and Match Mama says
Love this idea!!!!

Hope you are feeling better each day!! I had to wrap, wrap, wrap on Monday evening because my son came home for college yesterday. The temptation for him to peak while the rest of us are out of the house during the day may have been too much! : ) I was scattered on the floor with my tape, sharpie, scissors and ribbon in a small pile together. Not pretty and it was a mess for a while, but got it done.
Elspeth says
I have been praying for your recovery and I hope all is going well for you during the Christmas season. Sending prayers and well wishes. Thank you for keeping us updated on all things Christmas!

I always have a fun movie playing while I wrap. We are in temporary housing while waiting for our home to be built, but in the last house, I had a closet that had several Rubbermaid bins that housed all of my wrapping goodies, cards for every occasion, and quick gifts for those last minute invitations. Those bins are now in my garage, and I’ve just been running out there to get what I need as I wrap this year. I’m so glad to hear that your recovery is going good.

Hope you are recovering well!

Love the luggage. Also enjoy reading all the comments before mine re wrapping. They and you are so inspiring. Do hope you feel better each day and that you’re not over-doing it for the holidays. Love you attitude and hope to hear better news from you each day. Hang in there, dear Shay. Better days must be ahead for you.
Terry Pitzer says
Hi Shay! I have an off topic question. I’m taking your recommendation and getting kids echo dots for several of my younger. grandkids. Would you suggest the kid’s version or the regular echo dot for a 13 year old? She is a rule follower and not one to push the boundaries. Your opinion would be very helpful. Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
I would still suggest the kid version!!
Kathy W says
Love the luggage!
Ralinn J says
I hope you are feeling a great deal better. We are almost to the weekend. I have all gifts wrapped and shipped. What a beautiful set of luggage. It would be perfect for anyone.
Stefany says
I take over our covered pool table for my “wrapping station”. Every one is assigned a certain paper, usually it is a character they like, I don’t use any tags. Sometimes I use paper with no characters on it, so no one knows whose gifts are whose, except me. ? I hope you are healing well. I am keeping you in my daily prayers. ❤️
