Oh my gosh! It’s the week before Christmas!!
I mean…how is that possible?!?!?!
I’m going to be honest, the LAST thing on my mind this week is dinner. I feel like we have so many fun things to fit into one little week, that “what’s for dinner” is not high on my to-do list. That being said, we need to eat, right? Today, I have five simple suppers to make this week very merry and bright (and easy too!)! xo
Mmmmmm! Nothing wrong with starting the week with my Turkey Tortilla Soup!! Easy, filling, hearty and delicious! Everything we need on a Monday!
Ritzy Chicken Casserole for the win! Because come on? Who doesn’t love a buttery, crunchy topping?!
Hi, my name is Shay and I could eat chili every night of the week. Beer Cheese Chili? Even better!
Nothing is simpler and yet more filling than a hash! My Sweet Potato & Sausage Hash is ALWAYS a hit around our house!
My Baked Chicken, Broccoli & Rice is an easy one pot meal!
End your week with my Enchilada Lasagna! This would be perfect to make for holiday guests next week too!
Looking for a yummy breakfast recipe? You need to make this…
…my Sausage Crescent Breakfast Casserole!
Ready, set, here we go! We have about one week left until Christmas Day!! xo

hey shay have you ever made chocolate dipped Oreos? if so how would you make them christmasy? should I try and die the chocolate red? should I just use red and green sprinkles? Also what kind of chocolate would you use? Sorry I have never made these myself and I wanted to get some help from my favorite baker!:)
Thank you for all the amazing family friendly recipes you provide all year around!

I would dip them in white candy coating (or almond bark) and yes, use festive sprinkles!

Also this is totally unrelated but I am looking to get my 5 year old daughter some Matilda Jane clothes but I have heard sizing can be tricky. Your madeley and my daughter poppy seem to be the same size. ( poppy is also really small for her age) what size do you buy madeley in the dresses?

She wears their 4 🙂 . Merry Christmas!

Hey shay I think I am going to make your pizza pasta casserole bake for my families supper tomorrow night but I have two questions.:):)??
1. I have really really small shell pasta on hand would that work? It’s basically a box of the kind of pasta you get in Annie’s Mac and cheese. This is what it looks like: https://www.amazon.com/Cecco-Semolina-Pasta-Small-Shells/dp/B003LJZX18
2. Do you think I could use ground pork instead or ground beef? My husband prefers ground pork to beef most of the time??
Merry Christmas to the shell family! You guys make me smile every time I read your blog!I also hope your family gets better soon!
