You asked, I’m answering today!
It’s another “show us life on Nantucket post”.
I love MY OFFICE BACK AT HOME, but have been making it work here on Nantucket with…my bag 🙂 .
Yup, just like my bathroom, I’m living my best office life out of a Bogg bag too.
A very sweet teenage boy videoed me this week opening up my “office” so that I could show you how I’m making it “work” on Nantucket. Just take a look…
And that’s how I’ve been working from Nantucket 🙂 .
I am going to miss the weather, the water and all of the outdoor activities when we head back to McKinney…but I am truly giddy to get back to my office. #likereallygiddy
I mention so many things in this video, and I tried to list as many of them as I could below too:
Bogg Bag (in BLUSH-ing)
That wraps up this Thursday! I’ll see you tomorrow! xx

There are many outdoor restaurants and cafes!
Heather Stanton says

Do you have a work to do list and a separate one for personal or do you combine them into one?
Mix and Match Mama says
I have one list with everything on there including both work and personal.
Amanda says
I have loved reading about your family’s island life. Thanks so much for sharing!
I am *finally* considering a Bogg bag. I am a teacher and this looks like the perfect “teacher” bag. What size is the bag that you use for your work bag? Original?
Mix and Match Mama says
They’re really great! We have “the original” size…which I’m pretty sure is the biggest.
Amanda says
I’ve been on their website all morning. So many colors to choose from!! And the charms! Is the Bogg Bag the grown-up version of Crocs?!
Thanks, Shay! Enjoy island life!
Denise says
What to do list notebook do you use and am looking to order the planner but confused on which one.. love following your insta and blog.. what special memories y’all are making
Mix and Match Mama says
Awwww! Thank you SO MUCH! I use the small regular notebook for my daily “to do” list. I legit write down everything I need to do that day and check each item off. My EC planner is for “my life” which is where I keep all of the family’s things as well as my own. I’ve been using Erin Condren’s Life Planner for over 10 years now!
Dorie says
Have you done a post on the nitty gritty of how you use your planner, to do list notebook, etc to stay on top of everything? I love learning tips I can incorporate into my own planning.
Mix and Match Mama says
MANY!! You can see inside my planner and how I organize it here: https://mixandmatchmama.com/2020/04/erin-condren-giveaway-3/
Kay says
Hi Shay! Could you link the gold necklace in your video? Love to hear how you keep everything organized!
Mix and Match Mama says
That is from a shop here on the island called Love Shack 🙂 !
Leslie S says
OMG You are so organized! And can I just say I’m beyond impressed with all your ideas and motivation ❤️ This makes me want to overhaul my summer disorganized self asap.
What is the necklace you’re wearing in this video? It’s darling and I’d love details.
Mix and Match Mama says
Thank you so much! It’s from a super cute boutique here called Love Shack.
Leslie S says
Oh that’s right by Pete’s! I went in when we were there a couple weeks ago!! The owner had the cutest dog! Can you tell me what chain you decided on?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a paperclip chain. I *think* it’s the 16 to 18 inch one.
Leah v says
Love bogg bags! The true mary poppins bags!!!!
Alisha says
This is making me even MORE curious about your TINY “office” area in the little cubby behind the small door you mentioned during your room tour lol!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s where I keep my camera, tripod and clients’ folders 🙂
Kristin Lyngaas says
Well that’s just super cool 💙 it just goes to show how simplicity and efficiency work together. Thank you for sharing! Happy travels back to McKinney!
Sheaffer says
Listen, you could be living in a cave, and I feel quite certain you would have a work station set up and consistently be checking items off your TO DO list. 🙂
Alice says
What is the one sheet calendar that you use for planning blogs that show one month on a sheet? I would love a link!
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s just a normal 12 month wall calendar!
Monica says
Have you purchased any Nantucket Baskets? Curious if you have a what you are using them for because they are fantastic!
Mix and Match Mama says
They have quite the historical significance here, but it’s not something I’ve been inclined to purchase (yet). They’re very popular though!
Tina says
Life changing! Why haven’t I thought of this? Homeschooling in an RV and definitely implementing this Bogg bag idea. Thank you! — P.S. Silicone cable ties are amazing for keeping cords organized and untangled! 🙂
