You guys, I’m already a little panicked that October is just about halfway over. Why oh why does this time of year just FLY BY?!
Last night, we had McKinney Boyd High’s homecoming game and tonight, we have Lovejoy High’s. The best part about weeks like this is that ALL of the Shulls get to go to the same games. It was so much fun sitting in the stands with my boy last night watching Kensington cheer. I don’t take weeks like this for granted.
We have the Lovejoy game tonight, the homecoming dance, dinner, and photos tomorrow (x2!) and then fall break for all four kiddos is next week. Woohoo!

Let’s start with last Friday night…
…we drove a little north to watch our Lovejoy Leopards play at Melissa High School…
…it was an extra special game because…
…it was the first time our #75 started in a varsity football game 🙂 . We were so proud of Smith! He had a great game!
Meanwhile down south in Plano, TX, sweet friends were sending us pics of…
…our favorite cheerleaders! These girls have all cheered together since their freshman year and that sweet lady they’re taking a pic with was their freshman coach. She has since moved on from coaching cheer, but she makes a point to come see them perform at games and competitions. We love her so much!
On Sunday evening, we had the Boyd Cheer Homecoming Family Cookout and…I don’t have any pics from that…but on Monday, the fun continued with…
…not one but TWO high school homecoming parades happening at the same time.
More sweet friends sent pics to us from Lucas, TX as the football team made its way in the parade…
…geez, I love that kid.

The Boyd parade was followed up with…
…a HUGE glow in the dark pep rally. Here we all are getting into the gym and gearing up for the pep rally. Any time I’m looking for Kensington in a sea of cheerleaders, I’m able to spot her as she’s always…
…standing by her bestie 😉 . Those two just seem to always find each other.

That was Monday night…and on Thursday morning…
…we all met back in the gym for homecoming pep rally #2!

When you find a pair of jeans you love…
…you not only buy them in the PALMS WASH…
…but you buy them in the ELM (BLACK) WASH TOO! I wore this on Wednesday and felt super comfy and yet pulled together.

Okay, speaking of things I’ve worn recently…
…I always forget to take pics of what I wear to church on Sundays, but I was a BIG FAN of THIS DRESS with MY BOOTIES.
It comes in 11 different colors including a red that would be perfect for Christmas, a brown suede and a faux leather. I bought mine in an XS and feel it runs TTS (the sizes go XXS to XXXL).
It’s just flattering and comfortable and honestly, I might even get a second color. THIS DRESS is just super easy to wear.
Speaking of easy to wear…
…sometimes you just need to hit the day running in a super COZY LOUNGE TEE, JEANS, and MULES.
THIS TOP was like wearing pjs all day!
And because I clearly, clearly have a uniform, on another day…
…I just swapped tops and wore THIS PULLOVER (which comes in several other colors, but this one was oh so fall!).

Just curious …do either schools have powderpuff football games? (Where girls play and boys cheer?)
When I was in school we played under the light Thursday (back then girls basketball in tht fall…our coach hated when we played… 😆). Now they play during the day as part of pep rally they play games while game is going on.

It’s Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and I wanted you to know I will be celebrating the holiday by making some of your recipes! I’m going to make your Halloween sandwich cookies, as well as your bacon gouda breakfast casserole, which we will have Sunday morning after waking up for a nice cozy breakfast. Does the new CR moisture veil have its signature fragrance? I know fragrance is subjective for many of us. I really like a few of her products, but some are a bit too potent for me. I’m curious what this new product smells like.
