Last week, I was fortunate enough to spend a few days with…
…two of the women on my Mix and Match Travel Agency team at a conference. I love these two ladies so much, and it was so nice to network, connect, learn, and explore different travel components together with them. Nothing gets me more motivated and excited to head to my desk than connecting with other agents. It was such a fun few days.

We had been counting down the days until this movie came out. Since she gets out of school around noon each day (it’s fun being a senior!), we went to an early afternoon showing together. You guys, if you’re fans of the original movie, you will LOVE this sequel! It’s funny and filled with small throwback moments. It’s sweet, whimsical, and will absolutely get you in the mood for Halloween.

I am in love…

…I had pre-ordered it months ago, so I was extra excited when it arrived. I have loved her other three books, so I am really excited to dig into this one too.
This week…
…I began my fall Bible study! This season, I will be studying Esther using Kelly Minter’s study. I just came off about a year of studying Nehemiah, so I am especially excited to dig into this book next.
We have been watching a lot of football! These pics were from last Friday night’s game.

…Madeley Shull. Do you see here down there in her camo? She told me she was going down to wave at Kensington.
My favorite part was when her big sister saw her, stopped cheering, and…
…tossed her one of the t-shirts they throw out to the fans. See the shirt in the air as Mades is about to catch it? Ha! These two are thick as thieves these days which makes my mama heart SO HAPPY!
I saw these in my local grocery store this week and EVERYTHING is wrong with it…
…I want to gag just looking at the label. I had to share this with you because FOR THE LOVE TELL ME YOU AGREE. Who thought chicken flavored Oreos was a good idea? Who? WHO?! GAAAAAAAAAAG!

such a happy post! I love hearing the youngest and oldest are clicking and having a special bond-I can see that with my children too- my 4 year old daughter and 1

I thought the same thing about those Oreos. I got the Deep Fried flavored ones, they are really good. A friend’s family tried all three new flavors, none of them liked the chicken and waffles ones!

I love the relationship between your oldest and youngest. That is roughly the same as my big and little even though they are elementary and infant right now it gives me so much excitement for the future moments while still savoring the baby snuggles and missing tooth grins of elementary years. 🥰

One of the teachers at my school bought that pack of oreos and brought to lunch for everyone to try haha! I couldn’t try because they weren’t gf, but my feelings weren’t hurt because everyone said they weren’t very good! Also when we were in McKinney a few years ago, Dustin made sure we drove by the high school stadium because he had read about it and had to see it in person LOL. I’ve showed him pics of the inside from your blog! Have a great weekend!!

I am excited about Practical Magic 2! Good to hear that it is good. I’m going to watch 1 this week with my daughter and then hopefully go see it when I get back from traveling after next weekend! I also love those mules! Definitely going on my one day list. I realized this past week as I was doing some seasonal clothing checks that I have WAY too many shoes…so, they will have to go on my one day list until I figure out what I should get rid of! Curious how you organize and store your shoes! Have you done a post on that?

I have shelves in my closet for shoes, so that’s how I store them here. On Nantucket (where my closet is tiny), I use the hanging shoe racks. They work perfectly! I can fit a pair of shoes in each slot. I have two side by side: https://link.amazon/B01DLQlxz

OK, after reading this on Saturday morning I attended a 1-day quilting/sewing retreat. The host had the Oreos for us to try. I took one for the MMM team and took a bite. They taste overwhelmingly like artificial maple. I did not taste chicken at all. I felt like I was chewing a gulp of cheap pancake syrup. I did not take a second bite…

I’m a few days late on the Saturday post (busy time of year) but the Oreos made me laugh out loud. Oreo puts out new flavors all the time now and it has become a thing at my workplace for all of us to try the new and different flavors. Chicken and waffles is only waffle flavor, it’s almost like a burnt waffle if that makes sense. I hate that I know this, but now you don’t have to try it lol!
