It’s the MARCH edition of LET’S LOOK!
Er, but it’s April 15th.
Yeah, Erika and I were on vacation for the March edition and then we came home to well…um…chaos, so we punted until TODAY!
This is our monthly “look” at little aspects of our lives. (If you’re a blogger, make sure you blog and link up!)
Here’s what we’ve been “looking” at so far this year…
In January, we looked at our bedside tables.
In February, we looked at our winter wardrobe.
In April, we looked at how we typically celebrate Easter.
And today, we’re looking at inside our bags and purses…
…kidding 😉 . I mean…it’s a funny quote, but please don’t take any of this too seriously!
Today’s post is all about bags and purses and well, I’m a collector of such things, so today, we’re going to take a little look at what I love, why I love them and I’m answering your questions from Stories along with one short little video where I share some bags from your FAQ.
I’ve always been a bag girl 🙂 . I was the kid that gave zero thought to her back to school backpack but spent hours pouring over the Dillard’s catalog picking out the right back to school purse. I bought my first designer bag as my 30th birthday gift to myself. Andrew and I both decided to do something special the year we turned 30, so I bought a Louis Vuitton and he had Lasik eye surgery. Clearly, one of us is a little more shallow than the other…I mean, who cares if you have to wear glasses? 😉
Here I am buying my first bag for my 30th birthday.
After that, it kind of became my thing. When I asked you girls on Stories if you had any bag questions, YOU DID! Holy moly, you did! I would say that the majority of the questions followed the same theme (if not completely the same), so I went through and tried to pick as many as I could that answered the majority of your questions. I also made this little video here which answered your top questions. I wanted to be able to show you several of the bags as I explained why I love each one. Ready, set, here you go…
And then, here are some more questions and answers (in no particular order) about me and bags…
I’m the queen of texting Andrew pics of bags I like. Ha! I’ll see one, text him a pic and then (I’m guessing), he saves them/refers back to them because he always gets me bags I like. Sometimes, he surprises me with bags (in very thoughtful and creative ways) and then other times, we go pick one out/get them together. It’s always a little different, but it’s our thing. Andrew’s “gifts” are hunting things/snowboarding things…and so we do the same for him, but if I’m being honest, picking out his stuff isn’t nearly as much fun as mine 😉 .
I have a pretty wide variety of bags from different designers (Burberry, YSL, Gucci, Chanel), but I have a soft spot for LV bags because they’re French, they’re very sturdy (he started his career designing durable luggage), and I think they’re beautiful.
Just about every day! I know I probably sound nuts, but in my head, a bag is a “fall/winter” bag or a “spring/summer” bag. I know. I’m so weird. I base that on color/texture, but that eliminates half the bags each morning (as it’s not in the right season). After that, I pick a bag based on functionality for the day (do I need a crossbody to keep my hands free or do I need a larger bag to hold all of my stuff because it’s one of those kinds of days). And sometimes, I pick a bag because it makes my outfit pop…
…I pick them for all of those reasons and by now, I can switch out a bag in less than a minute, so it’s really no big deal.
Totally! I love my Barrington Bags! I used these as diaper bags when the two little girls were younger, I use them at every single sporting event for my big kids (they hold so many things for game time like bottles of water, snacks, light jackets, coloring books, fans…all of the stuff we need for a day at the ball field!). I use these to haul stuff to dance recitals, traveling, road trips, all of that stuff. I got these next two questions several times too, so let’s just answer them all three together below…
…and then this one…
…so here is my favorite Barrington tote…
…I like the St. Anne Zippered Tote.
I like the size, the fact that you can wipe out the inside, that it zips, it’s not heavy…I like everything about it!
I always buy mine directly in their stores (not online).
I don’t have a single bag that looks old and/or damaged. A big part of that is because I take great care of them, but another big part is that they’re very well made.
I have officially reached that sweet, sweet spot in life where my kids don’t need me to carry a darn thing (all the praise hands!). Back when they did need me to carry their things, I just used the larger totes/shoulder bags way more often than I did a crossbody. When I have busy days and am running from errands to appointments to practices and therapies, I’ll always bring a tote that way I can haul my MacBook, Kindle, etc.
I went into the closet and decided this was the one I would suggest…
…I know this probably sounds crazy (a common theme lately…), but I really do remember where I’ve purchased each and every piece. This crossbody in particular is a fun memory because my mom and I went into Gucci while in Boston and each bought this bag (she bought it in black). That was really fun! This one (in either color) is great because it’s neutral, can be dressed up or down, large enough to fit several things and zips closed. I love it!
Wellll…I’m going to say Louis Vuitton. It’s classic, it’s simple, it’s versatile…it’s my fave.
I never used a traditional diaper bag…always large totes that could work as a purse if the kids weren’t with me or a diaper bag if they were. Skip Hop was a brand I loved when K and S were little. I had a solid black one that worked for everything. When Ashby and Madeley were little, I had a Barrington bag with stuff for them when I needed to drop them off at places (like church, my parents’ house), but other than that, I just tossed their things whatever tote I was carrying at the time. I’ve never carried two things at once (a purse and a diaper bag).
I do! For me, I can be wearing yucky workout clothes, dirty sneakers, a baseball cap and no makeup…but if I have a bag, I have elevated everything 😉 . I always have one!
When I purchase a bag, it’s classified in my head as fall/winter or spring/summer (same with wallets), so I switch them out accordingly.
I have several large totes for traveling but this one here has been more places with me and is my favorite…
…my trusty Neverfull GM. (I like the MM for every day use but the GM for traveling because it’s bigger…see video for a comparison of the two!). My most recent bag (happy anniversary to ME!) is also a large tote for traveling. I went looking for a picture of it and found this one here at the airport…
I like a big, open, tote for my carry on bags.
I like them all, but my very favorite is the “damier ebene” which is this dark brown/chocolate checkered print.
Functionality! If the handles don’t work over my shoulder, the bag doesn’t close the way I want it to…if I am messing with it too much in the store, then I won’t pull it out and use it at home. I want one that’s functional, so if you use a tote 90% of the time, don’t buy a designer crossbody, buy a tote.
Carefully! I personally always use a lightly damp rag to wipe away any marks/dirt I might find on the bag and then my dustbuster thing to clean out the inside.
My answer will always be…
…the Neverful MM (medium size!).
I have shelves and drawers for my bags. I always store them stuffed if they need to hold their shape (I don’t want to damage the leather by creasing them if they’re not supposed to be folded over), cleaned out and emptied.
Both! Sometimes, Andrew gives them to me as a gift, other times, I buy them for myself. I’ve never received one from any other person…so they’re always bought by Andrew or myself.
Yes, I change them out daily! (See question above!) If you missed the video, these are the little zipper pouches I use inside my bag to keep things tidy…
Aren’t they so cute?!
I edit! I have this post here…
…from a while back that explains what’s inside my carry on bag.
I’m positive I thought more about the purchase of my first bag than Andrew did his laser eye surgery 😉 . I knew I wanted one in the damier ebene print because I was just drawn to that over the monogram (it was LV’s first print by the way, not the monogram), and I knew I wanted one that zipped closed and had gold hardware. That’s what lead me to that first bag.
Yes! This one right here is my favorite…
…I’m not sure that they make this one any longer, but this was the very first one I thought about when I read this question. This bag is special because it’s the only one I’ve ever purchased at the flagship Louis Vuitton in Paris, so that’s a fun memory.
Whew! I mean to tell you, did we talk enough about bags today?! I feel like we did!
Next month on Let’s Look, we’re looking at “our weekend”. For the love, I hope it’s a more normal looking weekend than what we’re having right now. Don’t forget, if you blogged today too, link up below!
I’ll see you guys back here tomorrow!! xo

I was about to ask the same ?

Two things…1. Opposites must attract in the friend department. 2. I’m thinking you chose this topic. ?????????????????????
Mix and Match Mama says
I chose all of the topics, remember? You were busy and told me to this year! Hahaha!

Have you read the Coco Chanel novel?
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t! Is there one in particular I should read?

Fun, fun, fun!
Thanks for the tips! Was planning to buy my first designer bag in Europe this summer, but now that we probably will not go, I may just buy it on my 30th birthday this summer! Thanks for the idea!

This was just delightful.

Loved this post! ♥️

I love all the bags you have! Quick question about matilda jane. Do you let your girls wear the dresses for everyday play
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! I always like for them to wear it to school/church first (and not just take the tags off and send them outside), but yes, I really try and let them live in it.
Sarina says
Hi! Great post – do you mind sharing a picture on Instagram of all your bags in your closet?
Mix and Match Mama says
Hmmmm…I’ll have to think about that!
Stacy M. says
I LOVE this post !
When traveling on a plane, how do you keep the contents of the open tote from spilling out? I can’t imagine they fit under a seat upright.. And what if the overhead compartment is full?
Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s what I love about the Neverfull, it does! Since the top is not a really structured leather, it does fold over. I always place it upright.
Nicole says
I love this post! I love to buy bags and purses, as well. Your videos are great and so helpful. Thank you!!

Well, I’m all kinds of out-of-my-league with this post, but I was intrigued recently when a French youtuber/fashion designer I follow (Justine Lecomte) talked about what a sure investment these designer bags are. Evidently they really grow in value over the years! They do look really cute on you, but I’ve never in my life even thought of buying one. But now I can say I at least have a teeny bit of knowledge on them or I might not stare at someone blankly if they talk about buying a Neverfull. Ha!
Mix and Match Mama says
I’ve never purchased on on Ebay before but I like to check them out and they always sell for almost as much (if not more!) of their original value! It’s cool to see!
Debbie Alsip says
Certain designer bags really hold their value. I purchased a Neverfull GM in the white/gray checkerboard and just didn’t love the size. I also constantly worried about getting something (food or dirt) on the white. I didn’t use it much, so I sold the tote on one resale site and the smaller bag (the pouch that comes with the Neverfull) on a different site. I think I lost between $100-$200. I considered that basically a “rental fee.” Many resell sites vet either all their bags or ones over $500 (Poshmark). I also bought a Goyard. I thought I would love it, but I didn’t. I kept it a year, and sold it on Poshmark and actually made money on it because you can’t buy these bags online. So, there are some cheaper options in resale, and the bags (LV and Goyard definitely) hold or increase in value.
Jennifer says
Hi! Can you share who makes the smaller red crossbody you’re wearing in one of the pics?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s pink and it’s YSL! 🙂
Tracy says
Is it the super shiny YSL camera bag?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s not shiny but it is the camera bag style. It’s just normal leather though.
Helen says
Hi! Same photo but different question … Would like to know where your light blue denim long sleeve button up shirt is from? That entire outfit is so good!!! ? Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
Thank you! That’s an oldie from Polo!
Jan Harris says
I love this!!! I just bought my first LV… the Neverfull and love it! Can you please show us the different Gucci purses you have and what you would recommend on a first one to purchase?
Lisa says
Hi Shay! I know you said you vacuum out the inside of your bags, but do you have a method for cleaning off any marks on the inside of your LV bags? Thanks!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I only use a damp rag on any portion of the bag as I don’t want to apply any products that might damage the integrity of the leather.
Francesca says
What do stuff your bags with to keep their shape? I think I need to start doing that!
Mix and Match Mama says
I show you in the video, but I use old towels (I’ll even cut up an old beach towel). Things like that!

Can you let us know the name/style of your first LV bag?! I love that! And I want one! Thank you so much.
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s an oldie but goodie! I bet I could find the name on Ebay, but it’s not on their site any longer. It came in two sizes and I believe I bought the larger of the two.
Carrie says
I’m in love with the Neverfull GM. It just went on my wish list.
Serena says
I’ve been waiting all week for this post, haha! I’m a LV lover as well. Simple and classic. I’ve had my Neverful for years and have traveled with it countless times, it still looks brand new. Back in the day, I never thought I would spend that much money on a handbag but once I did …. I was in love and now there’s no turning back. 🙂 I love walking in my closet and seeing them all, it makes me happy.
I have my eye on a Crossbody next, I can’t decide if I want a LV or Gucci. I know, I know … first world problems.
Thanks for sharing, loved this post!

I love this post and am dreaming of going out and using my never full soon! I have a GM and MM and highly recommend the organizing inserts you can find on Amazon! They run $20-30 and are specific to never full sizes and match the interior colors perfectly. Great for sunglasses, kindles, water bottles etc.

I purchased my first LV for my 30th birthday, too! I love it so much, and it truly is amazing how well it has held up after 3 years of daily use. This year I got a cross body and am just (impatiently) awaiting the first time I can use it out and about!
Lori says
I’m all googly eyes over the LV never full. It’s a dream of mine to own one and thought I might pull the trigger for my 50th this year, but I’m in the process of buying my first home as a single lady. So the LV may have to wait…all in good time. #practicepatience
Mix and Match Mama says
Congratulations on your first home, Lori!!!
Lori says
Thank you so much! I’m excited and anxious all at the same time.
Marie D. says
Quite possibly, my favorite post of yours ever! I am a bag lady, too, and LOVE any and all conversations about designer bags. My husband has his big interests in all outdoor toys and I have my bag collection! My newest is the South Bank Besace, GREAT crossbody!
Mix and Match Mama says
hahaha! I”m so glad! When I asked back in January what you ladies wanted me to talk about, this was definitely one of the top three topics! Thank you!
Taylor says
I am a handbag girl too! My friends call me the bag lady because I’m always switching out my purses. I bought my first LV two years ago when I graduated nursing school and I’ve been hooked ever since. For me, a nice handbag completes an outfit.
Angela Banae says
Oh my goodness!! I LOVE this post!!! Ok, I’ve got a few questions… First, would you get the Neverfull GM or MM? That’s the first bag I am purchasing, but not sure which size to get. We were going to get it in Chicago before flying out for spring break, but then Corona happened, so no spring break and no LV purchased (yet) 😉
Also, when you travel and you take a large tote, do you lock it in the hotel safe when you are out sightseeing? I always do with my large tote, but maybe I’m too paranoid? Because you take a crossbody for the day trips when sight seeing, right? Maybe just put it back in the suitcase? Thanks for sharing all of your organizational tips, too!! I love, love, love this post!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I would get the MM as that’s the size I use most often!! And I try and secure anything valuable when I leave my hotel room if I can!!
Jill says
Loved the post, very informative!!! I do have one question, how to do downsize your two other bags when you switch to a smaller crossbody bag? Do you have a smaller little bag that you downsize to and you use that? Do you just throw in the essentials?
Oh and where is your wallet from?
Thanks
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! If I can’t fit my Barrington totes in a smaller bag, I’ll use random little bags that I’ve picked up over the years. I’ll even use a ziplock baggie if necessary! I don’t like things to be rolling around loose in there.
Donna S says
Do you ever buy trendy, cheaper bags just for fun?
Mix and Match Mama says
Totally!!! I like all bags (not just designer ones!!).
Mande says
Loving your pants in the video! Have you linked to them? They look like the perfect quarantine joggers! ?
Mix and Match Mama says
I’m wearing them again today!! Yes, I will!
Mande says
Thank you! ❤️
Em says
What type/brand of wallet are you currently using and/or what have you used in the past that you like? I’m in the market for a new one! 🙂 Such a fun post—thank you!!
Mix and Match Mama says
The one in the video is an LV zip up patent leather monogram wallet. I like that it zips up so nothing falls out (like receipts and such).
Arika says
Another request to link the joggers you wore in the video! Thanks 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! I’ll add that this week!!
Tara says
Do you have a LV empriente noir in your collection? If yes, which one? I wear a lot of black and thinking about adding one to my wish list.
Mix and Match Mama says
I do! I think it’s really timeless and can easily be dressed up or down!
Shelly says
Question: do you buy designer wallets? Looks like that pink one in the video wasn’t one? For example: LV wallet… I got my 1st LV bag for my 40th bday and then my dad just passed away and before he passed he wanted to buy me a keep sake (which we didn’t get to do but my mom is going to make that happen) and I told him I wanted the LV wallet to match my purse but those wallets are almost as much as the purses. So now I feel like I want another purse instead of a wallet? Thoughts?
Mix and Match Mama says
I told and that one was! It was a patent leather LV monogram wallet! I like changing out my wallets too, so it’s another way to jazz things up. I’m so sorry about your dad. I think the great thing about a wallet is that it truly is timeless and you’re probably more likely to switch out a bag but keep a wallet forever. I love that you want to get something you’ll use every day to remember him by.
caitlin s davies says
Thanks for the tip on keeping things organized inside! So I think one of your ( many) talents is choosing awesome Barrington print/ color combos. A fun post would be to show all your Barrington bags/ pouches/ wallets etc! I want to get a little pouch now that I saw this and You have the best ideas!
Mix and Match Mama says
I think I’ve said this before, but I spend a lot of time on hold and often, I go on their site and just mess around with combinations. I find it soothing. Ha! Isn’t that weird? I wait on hold and design a bag 🙂 .

Loved the video! Thank you for giving us your thought process in picking your bags, it was very helpful for choosing those investment pieces! 🙂

I love this post. Thanks for taking the time to write. The video is just what I needed as well. It was very helpful to see both Never Full bags on your shoulder and together to determine sizing.
I have the St Anne Florentine and Nantucket leather totes from Barrington and love them. They are perfect for travel. I would love to see your closet and now you have them stored.
Morgan Godbold says
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m really wanting get an LV and loved hearing your knowledge and opinions before I make my first purchase!
When you change out everyday… What if the crossbody doesn’t fit all the stuff you’d normally carry in your tote? Do you change the wallet? How often do you change your wallet? Do you have smaller organizers. Or you just know you won’t need any of that stuff if you’re using a crossbody?
Mix and Match Mama says
I change wallets less often (every few weeks). I typically downsize what I need to bring in a crossbody and use smaller little bags to keep things tidy and organized in there too!
Dawn N. says
Hi! Love all your bags! I am a bag and shoe girl!! Question, Is your LV suitcase the size 45 or 55? What can you fit in it? I have the 45, that was purchased in Prague and it seems a little too small. I love it but don’t really know what to use it for!! Thank you!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I believe mine is the 55 and is really roomy!!

Love this post! I am HUGE purse girl myself!! Have you ever looked at Furla bags? They are Italian and are amazing!! They are my favorite!
Lynne says
Well that was just the kind of fun diversion we need right now! Thank you, Shay! I firmly believe that a girl can never have too many bags. The reality is that even if you are having a day when your clothes don’t fit just right or your hair is misbehaving, you can always count on your bag to do her job!
Heidi says
Same question as a few of the above about downsizing – I have my big wallet with all the stuff (receipts, cards, gift cards, etc) and then when downsizing to crossbody I pull out a few cards into the cross body and in no time all my stuff is scattered – a card here, wallet there, gift card there, receipts everywhere! I’m a big wallet girl like you – any tips on making wallet stuff more versatile and flexible in an organized way? Thanks for the fun post – I loooooved it!
Kathryn says
Loved this! Question…what do the hanging leather straps on the sides of the Neverfull do? Are they decorative or do they have a function? I’ve always wondered this!
Mix and Match Mama says
You can cinch up the sides and make the top of the bag smaller with them!
Kit says
Love the purses! Can you share a link to the bracelets you are wearing? Thanks!

All your bags are beautiful. I probably wont ever buy one but I can appreciate your love for them and live vicariously through you. haha! I have a question though – can you tell me about your dust buster? I know…so random but I need one and I want a good one. Also, started The Happily Ever After Playlist last night by Abby Jimenez and lets say i have had 3 hours of sleep and am 78% through. It is WONDERFUL!! I love her writing style so much! She is one of my favorite authors! Love the characters and the story. Its the sequel to The Friend Zone and I know you liked that one. I think it could be better than the first? Maybe not, but its amazing!!! Also, I saw someone else recommended K.A. Tuckers two book The Simple Wild and Wilds at Heart (sequel) on your book post and I read them both in 3 days. They were beautiful!!! I laughed and cried and had ALL the feels in these two books. The Simple Wild is so far #1 for the year out of 68 books so far. I just couldn’t wait until next book post to say all that. Get these 3 books and please tell me about your dust buster. lol

I used to love my Neverfull MM until I got my Goyard St Louis Tote, it’s so much lighter.
I use my Neverfull GM for traveling. It fits perfectly under the seat.
I recommend you check out “PurseBling.com”. Her inserts are custom to designer bags. I have the red jumbo zippered insert for my GM and the large zippered insert in Ivory for my white MM& Goyard. I love the zipper insert to secure my wallet (zippy). It’s added security and so easy to change bags!

Hi Shay! I read your blog everyday, but I am especially loving your posts lately! They are all so informative, and this one is my favorite! ? I have a LV tote in the dark monogram from a few years ago, but am thinking of getting the light color in the Neverfull MM. Do you find denim or other dark clothing bleed onto the light colored LV bags? I’ve had this happen with other bags so I’m a little hesitant to purchase. Thanks so much!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have heard about that happening, but I do not see it on any of my denim. I don’t know if it’s because my denim pieces are so washed and dried that it doesn’t happen any longer or what? But I have heard of that but not experienced it myself.
Ashley Royer says
Such a fun post! I love bags too. My favOrigen right now is the Chloe Marcie. It’s a great size for an everyday bag but also works crossbody.

Such a fun post…thank you for sharing. I was inspired by your closet (from what can be seen in your photos) ? and I had my husband add a shelf over the doors. He also added another bar above the current shelves, and gave me extra space to hang more clothes, ha ha. Now, I display my purses out and on the new shelf, it make me smile everyday. ?

I don’t remember the name but it’s one of the “shopping bags”.

Thank you SO much for doing this post. You should do another one ASAP! 🙂 Do you use anything to protect the vachetta on your monogram bags?
Mix and Match Mama says
I do not!
Holly Breton says
Totally agree with you on the Medium Neverfull! It is my go-to every day bag too 🙂

Can you post a gluten free quick bread recipe such as zucchini or banana soon? I have been looking for a gluten free bread recipe.
Mix and Match Mama says
I have made two this month but don’t like my flours…I hate how the g-free flours don’t “brown” things like other flours do.

Hi Shay! I love LV too. I am wondering how you use the small pouches that come with all sizes of the Neverfull. I didn’t see any of them in the post. Thanks.
Mix and Match Mama says
I sometimes use them in the very same way or use them for traveling, random things like that! You’re exactly right, they work perfectly for the same thing!

Fascinated by this post! Pediatric home health speech language pathologist here for patients of families on Medicaid and literally have one purse I throw in my trunk when making visits, but so fun to see your collection and love your closet. Stay well!

If someone is looking for a more affordable alternative, Target has some great options both in the purse section as well as the dollar section! I have an adorable small pouch that was only $3 and fits great in my cross body that is a smaller bag. Holds all of my little items perfectly!

This was a fun post-thanks! For makeup, do you buy two of everything and stash some in your bag? Or just move your makeup from bathroom to purse for the day for refreshing? (Things like lipstick, etc).
Mix and Match Mama says
I don’t carry much with me at all throughout the day. I only carry a gloss, chapstick, lipstick (maybe a liner) and powder. That’s it!

Fun post! I just bought my first Louie right before spring break and the “Corona” got crazy! I can’t tell you how much I looked and researched their bags online before going. I went with a friend of mine and had such a wonderful woman help me in the store. She’s contacted me twice checking in…so great service as well! I feel like the first purchase can have a lot of pressure to “get it right.” I didn’t want one that everyone had so I went with the Mélie in Noir and a matching wallet and am so happy. Can’t wait for my next bag purchase!

And my husband buying the expensive hunting equipment sure did help my conversation with him!! ? Only reason he even knows about LV is because I talked about it enough!
Mix and Match Mama says
That stuff adds up!!
Hillary says
Do you put $ aside specifically for designer bags or do you buy them more on a whim?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s never on a whim, always saved.

What bag is the red crossbody in one of the first pics you’re wearing with a chambray top? Chanel? Love it & would love to know the style

My email is wrong in my comment field sorry! I’ll correct it below:

It’s a pink YSL!

Do you ever get your initials hotstamped on your LV? I have mine on most of my bags. Especially my make up case and mini pouchettes. For those, they put the hot stamp on the end leather tab. It’s cute and just makes me smile. For my luggage tags, I have our family initial.
My neverfull GM is the same as yours. I have red initials on one of the strap bases (I guess that’s what you call it). I love it because there’s no question it’s authentic because only LV stores can perform the hot stamping. I had one lady ask me in an airport if my bad was real, she purchased hers at a purse party. I told her LV on 5th Ave DOES NOT have purse parties! I showed her my initials and that the bag was over 10 years old and still in mint condition!
Mix and Match Mama says
Occasionally, yes!!

When it comes to designer bags and being “in season”, would the blue and white version of the LV Galliera be only used in the spring and summer? I love that style but when spending that much money on a bag I want to be able to use it all year. Thanks, Shay!
Mix and Match Mama says
In my opinion, it’s spring and summer…but that’s just my opinion! You carry that when it makes you happy!!

Shay Thank you so much for this post! It was such a nice distraction. I loved it and am hoping for more videos. I would love to see your favorite jewelry pieces and how you organize them.

I just got out of bed to stuff my bags because now I am worried they will crease! lol. Thank you for the tip.

Just watched the video and love this post even more! Few quick questions:
– LOVE the idea of using the little barrington pouches — do they fit in all your smaller crossbodies? (i.e., the small gucci) – if not, do you just not take some stuff that day – or do you have another system?
– do you use the louis pouches that come into the neverfuls?
brooks davidson says
yes! I second this question!

This was my favorite post ever!! I have been a bag girl since I was a young girl. Thanks for sharing!!

LOVE this post! I have such a hard time switching out my bags, I need to get more organized with what I have in them. Maybe I will make it a goal to change bags at least once a week. I find they accumulate a lot of junk that doesn’t need to be in there and it makes it harder to switch bags to different sizes.
