You guys, today is the 500th MEAL PLANNING MONDAY!!!!
Holy cow!
It’s hard to believe that over TEN YEARS has passed since our very first MEAL PLANNING MONDAY!
My life and my family, what we ate, how we cooked, how much we consumed…all the details are a little different from that day on September 2, 2013 (there are more of us, and they’re all so much BIGGER!). Our family might have changed, but what hasn’t changed though is my passion for meal planning. Over these last ten years, my family has GROWN, but my mama heart has stayed the same…sitting down with those you love at night is the best way to end the day. If I can help you make that a little easier, I am so happy to do it. I was happy then with my two preschoolers, and I’m happy to do it now with my two teens, 11 and 9 year old too.
I went back through and looked at my MEAL PLANS over the last 10+ years and found five of the highest viewed recipes that are “wintery” and made our special 500th EDITION OF MEAL PLANNING MONDAY for you!
I hope these Meal Plans have been helpful over the years for your family as well. Don’t forget, you can also check out my 13 KEYS TO MEAL PLANNING which shares my exact method/how I do it/my game plan/tips, tricks and keys.
From my meal planning kitchen to yours, Happy Monday! xx
My WHITE CHICKEN CHILI is without a doubt the top winter recipe right now on my blog! It’s easy, it’s filling, and it’s oh so delish!!
AIR FRYER CRAB CAKES? Yes, please! I’m not sure these are “wintery” (we actually like to enjoy them year around), but this recipe is so loved, that I had to include it today too. You guys can bake these little bites as well if you don’t have an air fryer. They are DELICIOUS!!
My BRISKET CHILI is probably Andrew’s favorite winter recipe too! You will have a very, very hard time making “regular” chili after you make this one 🙂 .
My FRENCH ONION ROAST is another winning recipe! Your home will smell delicious while this roasts away too!
And finally…
…you guys seem to LOVE my BUFFALO RANCH CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP, so it had to make my 500th Meal Plan! This one isn’t spicy, it’s flavorful. If you haven’t tried it, you totally should!
These two sweet treats also ranked high on our recipe list…
…my CRANBERRY ALMOND GRANOLA and…
…my TWO INGREDIENT PINEAPPLE MUFFINS! You totally need to make both!
Happy 500th Meal Plan!! You guys, I am so blessed to get to do this with you each and every day. Sending you so much love!!! xx

For the brisket, how do you find small ones? Do you special order? Do you buy a large one & cut it? I can’t seem to find anything smaller than one that will feed an army?

If you ever see a cut of meat at the grocery store that is too big, you can ask the butcher to cut it for you. I would maybe even start by asking the butcher first!

I am eating your corn chowder right now. It is delicious and so nice to come home from work and have it ready. Love all the meal planning but have to pass on the ones that have buffalo sauce as it is too spicy for me. Our favorites are the sliders and all the Mexican food.
