The leaves are so pretty here in North Texas. The weather is gorgeous. There’s this happy mix of fall and Christmas in the air.
I am so very much into it.

We have been busy bees…
…the house is all decked out both inside and in, and I’m feeling oh so cozy. If I’m being honest (please don’t get mad at me when I share this), but I’m really digging the earlier nights right now too. I know, I know, I know I will be excited for the sun come March, but right now, it’s just so COZY when it’s dark outside. I’ve embraced it this week.

Great post. I’m on Oahu visiting family with my daughter. We decided to continue to walk here. It’s still pretty hot here and we’re messed up with the time difference so we go early in the morning. It’s been really nice. We went to Aulani yesterday and went to one of their lagoons. It was so pretty and wasn’t very crowded. Well worth going.

How wonderful you are doing National Parks… As someone who just go back from trip….one of the national parks was closed (not getting political) due to the Gov’t shutdown…. Which I hope they resolve soon. We were disappointed, but our trip went well life is too short to dwell.

I just went back to look because I could not figure out what you meant…and you’re right, I typed ski and not skin. Sigh. I fixed it. Andrew is hoping to snowboard by February. We’ll know more after his surgery if that’s possible or not. When he tore his left one, he snowboarded ten days after his surgery…but I think this time, he’s going to wait until he’s fully recovered.

Is that Antelope Canyon? We went out west about 8 years ago on a 4-week cross country trip with the kids. Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and then on north to Muir Woods… as east coast people it was gorgeous seeing the desert and mountains. National Parks (and state parks too) are such a treasure!

So here’s something you might not know about me. I don’t really like using body lotion, and unless I’m feeling reallllllllllllly dry, I typically don’t wear it. LIKE EVER. But I tried the new body cream and oil and I WAS BLOWN AWAY. You’re right about the scent, and it is absorbed so quickly and leaves my skin feeling incredible.
