Happy CEREAL DAY, friends!
Today, I decided to keep things light, happy, fun and festive! If you’re looking for a quick, easy and delicious recipe to make this Easter weekend, I have 18 DESSERT RECIPES FEATURING CEREAL to share!
From snack mixes to bars, cupcakes, and cake, everything is super fun to make and delicious to eat.
Head to your pantry and grab a box! From Lucky Charms to Rice Krispies, Cocoa Puffs, Fruit Loops and more, I have easy little recipes your whole family will love starting with the VERY FIRST RECIPE I ever made (bonus recipe from today’s Reel included at the bottom of the post too!)…
…when I was 10, I started making my Grandmother’s PEANUT BUTTER RICE KRISPIES and a love of being in the kitchen was born. No other recipe makes me think of my family more than this one here. They’re crazy good and all of these years later, we still have them at truly just about every single family get together.
So whip up a batch this weekend and then maybe one of these other delicious goodies too…
FRUITY PEBBLES NEIMAN MARCUS BARS
If you missed my TOP FIVE/BOTTOM FIVE CEREAL post this morning, head there to see which ones I love and which ones I do not.
Finally, if you saw my Reel this morning, you’ll notice that I did a quintessential mix and match (cough, cough, that’s how I got my brand’s name for those of you who are new!) and made traditional Rice Krispies Treats but with FRUITY PEBBLES (a great gluten-free alternative!). See? It’s easy to make fun goodies in the kitchen with cereal 🙂 .
For the FRUITY PEBBLES TREATS, all you do is spray (I use a non-stick spray) a 9×12 baking dish and then set aside.
Next, measure out 4 cups of Fruity Pebbles cereal into a mixing bowl and set aside.
After that, melt ¼ cup of butter over medium heat in a small saucepan over the stove. Next, stir in 2 cups of mini marshmallows and quickly (and constantly) stir them into the butter until they melt. Quickly pour this mixture down into your mixing bowl over your cereal. Combine with your spoon and then pour into your prepared baking dish.
I like to take a spatula sprayed with just a touch of Pam and lightly pat the mixture down into the baking dish to flatten it.
Allow this to cool on your counter about 20 minutes and then cut into squares and enjoy!
Happy Wednesday, friends! xx

All of these look delicious! I’ve always been a fan of making treats with cereal. I can remember my sweet older neighbors from when I was little, they would make these peanut butter cheerio bars and add m&ms to it – I need to try to make those someday!
