I get excited about pumpkin recipes EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I make one. My heart belongs to the pumpkin.

I got all the ingredients this week to make three of your savory pumpkin recipes, starting with the Pumpkin soup with the Italian Sausage. Wow is it ever good!!!!!
My stove & oven are currently out of service so I cooked the sausage & onion & garlic in my small electric hotpot and then transferred everything into my crockpot. Oh wait, I did the butter / flour / chicken stock step in the hotpot, too. Once that had boiled for the specified amount of time, into the crockpot with all the other ingredients.
I had one bowl topped with croutons – delicious!
I had one bowl served over leftover mashed potatoes and sprinkled with Everything But The Bagel seasoning – delicious!
